Kaden began running away instantly after noticing the towering Rock Sprite, dodging the Sprite's punch.
"SHIT! SHIT! SHIIIIIIT! HUSS! HUSS! HUSS!"
Kaden began running faster and faster before turning around, aiming his finger at the Sprite.
"TAKE THIS YOU ROCKY BOULDER FREAK! MANA SHOT!!"
"Skill Execution: Mana Shot[Lv. 1]!"
Kaden's finger glowed brightly as a beam of mana emitted from it, forcing his mana to keep that same formation, after he lowered his thumb like a trigger. The Sprite raised it's arms, blocking the beam from hitting it.
"WHAT THE HELL!? What level is this fucking thing!?"
The Codex's screen popped up next to Kaden.
"Skill Execution: Code Observe[Lv. 1]!"
His eyes glowed a bright golden aura as he began to analyze the Sprite's stats.

"Unable to Scan!?.. WHAT TYPE OF BULLSHIT!?"
As Kaden studied the stats of the Sprite and yelled, The Sprite's Colossal-esque fist swung down towards Kaden, shredding through the individual vines and trees. Kaden turned towards the Sprite, but before he could react completely, the fist slammed towards him.
...Before the fist could touch him, a snap could be heard...
"Skill Execution: Snap Build[Lv. 1]!"
Kaden manifested a metal bat in his hand, blocking the fist. The bat collided with the Sprite's knuckles, vibrating in the process. The impact shattered the air around them like glass, sending shockwaves throughout the jungle. Knowing he couldnt match the Sprite's strength, he swung his bat to the left, redirecting the Sprite's fist.
"Stupid.. fucking.. BOULDER BITCH!"
Kaden aimed his finger at the Sprite, collecting his mana into his finger.
"MANA SHOOOOOTT!!"
"Skill Execution: Mana Shot[Lv. 1]!"
He shot his finger down, shooting a condensed beam of his collected mana into the Sprite's chest. The Sprite tried to block it with it's hand but the beam burst through, going through it's hand then it's chest. The Codex's screen appeared next to the Sprite as the beam pierced through it.
"CRITICAL!"
After the mana that held the rocks of the sprite together dispersed, The Codex's screen popped up infront of Kaden.
"QUEST COMPLETED!

"Well thats done- Now how am I supposed to get outta.. here.."
While he thought about even leaving, he began to pant, his vision becoming blurry, and the hot sun started to feel like it was scorching his skin.
"Oh fuck.."
He fell down as he started to lose feeling in his legs. The Codex's screen then transformed in front of him.
"WARNING! WARNING! Mana Exhaustion has been inflicted due to an overuse of Mana Reserves."
"Fuck.. What can I do.."
As soon as he began to ponder, he figured out he just got a Mana Potion. He held out his hand and pictured a mental image of what he thinks it looks like in his head. A wormhole like structure appears above his arm as the Mana Potion drops out. He gripped onto it, using the last of his strength to open it and chug it down his throat. Within each gulp, he could feel the unusual, warm, oil-like texture fill his throat. His exhaustion was discarded as a jolt of energy seemingly revitalized him completely.
"Mmmmm.. That hits the spot..! WOO!.."
He began beating on his chest after standing up then stretched his arms wide, feeling a lightness in his chest. After stretching his calves, he began running in place.
"Let's think about how did I do that with the potion.."
He raised his arm, looking at his hand. He flicked his wrist around twice, similarly to Spider-Man.
"Maybe it was some kind of like Hammerspace thing?.. Ahmad did say this is like a video game, so maybe it's like a Inventory.. But how did i do it?"
He stroked his chin and closed his eyes as he thought about it. He let out numerous disgruntled noises as he was deep in thought.
"OH WAIT!"
He opens his eyes and snapped quickly.
"AHMAD TOLD ME BACK DURING THE FIGHT WITH THAT LAVA LAMP! IT'S LIKE A KEYBIND ON A VIDEO GAME! But instead of a keyboard, its like a mental input.. Lets try it!"
He started to punch the air rapidly while laughing.
"Its better I figure it out so I can do some cool stuff like quick drawing! OOOO BOY THAT'LL HAVE SOME COOL AURA TO IT!"
He looked at the bat he created earlier, grabbed it, and spun it around a bit before resting it on his shoulder.
"Not the same bat i usually use, but it's a good sub!"
He looked up then around.
"Hey Codex! Can you tell me what do I have to do to get out of this... place?"
The Codex's screen then appeared in front of him out of thin air.
"PENALTY QUEST! Kill Golden Gaia Ape with a new creation[0/1]!"
"Well thats some bullshit.. WAIT! YOU MEAN THOSE APES FROM EARLIER THAT WERE CHASING ME DOWN!?.. HOW YOU DO EXPECT ME TO WIN THAT?! THEY BE JUMPIN'!"
He pinched his nose, sighing in discomfort. He then turned around and seen three silhouettes towering above him. He looked up, and all he saw was three Golden Gaia Apes. He gripped on his bat as the APES breathed heavily towards him, their mouths drooling at the thought of eating him whole as they stood on a thick tree branch.
"Well if it ain't Donkey, Diddy, and Cranky.. I mean, look at me! You all can't have me, so who wants the first bite!"
They all look at each other and begin to yell at one another, pushing one another
"Wait- that actually worked..? Ok- I'll just shoot one of them down with Mana Shot.."
Kaden pointed his finger at the shortest Ape, similarly like a gun, trying to perfect his aim. He breathed in as The Codex's screen popped up next to him.
"MANA SHOT!"
"Skill Execution: Mana Shot[Lv. 1]!"
Kaden forced his mana out into his hand, concentrating it into his finger and lowered his thumb down like a trigger, blasting the shorter Ape in the arm.
"Fuck- I was trying to aim for the head.."
The Ape fell down from the branch, catching itself mid-air, safely landing on the ground. It stared at Kaden, giving him a glance of pure malice. Kaden lowered his hand and gripped onto his bat with the other. He raised his bat, pointing it at the Ape.
"Come on, Mojo Jojo! Show me what you got!"
As they both stood there as the other 2 Apes left out of a sign of what could only be respect. Kaden tightens the grip on his bat tightly whilst the Ape roared a sound that rattled him deeply. Kaden braced his feet in the ground, bringing his bat backwards, then ran towards the Ape.
"TAKE THIS YOU STUPID FUCKING APE!"
The Codex's screen popped up next to him instantly.
"Skill Execution: Accelerate[Lv. 1]!"
He slammed his right foot into the ground and instantly gained a surge of energy. He rushed towards the Ape and smashes his bat into it's knee, activing it's patellar reflex, causing it to trip and fall over.
"AWWW YEA! LETS GET IT!"
Kaden jumped up above the Ape and swung his bat, but before his bat could make contact, he was smacked away by the Ape like a fly. Kaden hits his back against a tree.
"SHIT!.."
He stumbles as his back grinned against the tree. The Ape stood up and began to run towards Kaden as drool frothed from his mouth. Kaden gripped on his bat and plants his feet on the ground.
"COME AT ME, RAFIKI!"
As soon as the Ape got somewhat close to Kaden, he swung his bat into it's face at full force. As the bat swung into the Ape's head, a loud crack could be heard. The Ape flew back slightly and coughed slightly. As it looked back up at Kaden, it's mouth beings to froth wildly. Kaden spins by it's handle then points it at the Ape.
"I just need to focus on finishing this off.. Wait that's it!"
He closed his eyes as a mental image of a Magma Ball. After 2 seconds the ball appeared in his hand. He took a deep breath and looked at it with immense focus as The Codex's screen popped up.
"Skill Execution: Code Observe[Lv. 1]!"
"MAGMA CORE! It is a searing, volatile sphere of molten rock and fire, typically utilized as a destructive projectile or environmental hazard!"
"Ok bet! But I why doesn't it harm me?"
The Codex's screen changed instantly to answer him.
"Magma Cores do not harm the user, only the target of the user."
"Ok well that's actually pretty cool..!"
He throws it up, catches it right after then throws it directly onto the Ape's face.
"BULLSEYE!"
The Ape screamed in pain as it's face slowly melted off. Before it could even react, Kaden pointed his finger at the Ape and pulled his thumb down like a trigger.
"Mana Shot!"
"Skill Execution: Mana Shot[Lv. 1]"
His finger forced his mana out, shooting out and then piercing through the Ape's head. As soon it pierced through, the Ape fell to the ground, spewing blood.
"OH GOD- THAT.. THAT IS NASTY.. WHY DOESN'T IT DISAPPEAR LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE DID-"
The Codex's screen popped up next to Kaden.
"PENALTY QUEST COMPLETED!

Before he could even completely ask what that meant, Kaden instantly appeared in his room. He looked around, glancing towards every little detail.
"Am I.. home?"
He walked out his room and looked into the living room, seeing his mom drinking wine while watching "The Real Housewives of New York". She began yelling at the TV as a character started getting beat on in the show.
"HOW ARE YOU GONNA DO THAT TO COURTNEY!? YOU STUPID BITCH!"
He sighed in relief as he stared at his drunken mom.
"Yep.. I'm home, thankfully.. Wow! Never thought I'd actually say that!"
