Chapter 67 - CHAPTER 67

A cold wind swept across the palace heights.

It wasn't natural.

It wasn't from the air.

It came from her presence.

The dazed Celestial Dragon stood frozen, his body trembling uncontrollably as the chill sank deep into his bones.

His sluggish mind struggled to catch up

But the moment his eyes focused

He saw her.

And everything stopped.

Fear.

Pure, instinctive fear.

"Saint… Roselith… Seraphina…"

That name

Was not simply a name.

It was a nightmare.

Among the Celestial Dragons of his generation, there existed a figure none dared to provoke.

A figure who shattered their arrogance.

A figure who turned privilege into pain.

The Tyrant of the Roselith Family.

Saint Roselith Seraphina.

Memories surged violently within his mind.

Years ago

Within the sacred grounds of Mary Geoise

The Roselith Family hosted a grand banquet.

It was meant to celebrate the coming-of-age of their daughter.

And that day

Every noble of significance had attended.

Because of her.

Even among Celestial Dragons

She was special.

Her beauty

Unmatched.

Her lineage

Powerful.

The Roselith Family

Was no ordinary Celestial Dragon family.

They stood among the true power holders of the World Government.

A lineage deeply tied to financial authority and internal influence.

To marry her

Was to gain both beauty and power.

Even if she had once been blind

It changed nothing.

Suitors came.

One after another.

At first

They approached Saint Victor Roselith.

But every proposal

Was rejected.

His answer never changed.

"My daughter will decide her own future."

At first, many believed it was arrogance.

That he looked down on them.

Because even among Celestial Dragons

There were ranks.

Those with power.

And those without.

But as time passed

Something became clear.

It wasn't arrogance.

It was truth.

Victor

Would not control her life.

He truly allowed her to choose.

And so

They changed tactics.

If the father could not be moved

Then they would approach the daughter.

A fatal mistake.

Celestial Dragons

Were not known for restraint.

Their desires were absolute.

Their methods

Crude.

Some tried persuasion.

Others

Did not bother.

Unwanted advances.

Arrogant assumptions.

And then

They learned.

Pain.

Saint Roselith Seraphina did not tolerate disrespect.

The first time

She simply struck them.

But they did not learn.

So she adjusted.

Not to kill.

But to punish.

She studied the human body.

Understood its limits.

Where to strike.

How to strike.

To inflict maximum pain

Without lasting damage.

And so

The legend was born.

The Tyrant.

Not because she killed

But because she didn't.

Because she made them feel everything

And live with it.

Even the parents who came to protest

Left in silence.

Because their children

Were not truly injured.

Only… broken in spirit.

Eventually

They gave up.

No one dared pursue her anymore.

Except one.

Saint Charlos.

But not for her.

For someone else.

That day

He had seen a young girl peeking beyond the estate walls.

Boa Hancock.

And from that moment

Obsession took root.

He tried everything.

First

He approached Seraphina directly.

"I'll buy her."

The result?

He was beaten.

Severely.

Hancock

Was not property.

She was her friend.

Second

He turned to his father.

Saint Rosward.

But even Rosward refused.

Victor's reputation

Was absolute.

No one interfered with what belonged to the Roselith Family.

Especially not for something so foolish.

Third

He made the worst decision.

Force.

He sent slaves.

To infiltrate the Roselith estate.

To take Hancock.

But he failed to understand something.

Even back then

Seraphina's Observation Haki had already awakened.

Her perception

Sharp.

Absolute.

No intruder could escape her notice.

Unless they were monsters of the sea

Like Silvers Rayleigh or Gol D. Roger.

And such beings

Would never stoop to this.

The result

Was inevitable.

The slaves attacked.

And were crushed.

Swordsmanship.

Precision.

Control.

Even in her youth

She dominated them completely.

The guards arrived soon after

Ending the incident.

The consequences

Severe.

The family of Charlos

Publicly distanced themselves.

And Charlos

Was confined.

Five years.

A rare punishment

For a Celestial Dragon.

Yet

Even that

Was not enough.

Because after his release

He did not change.

And so

Every time she saw him

She reminded him.

With pain.

Controlled.

Measured.

But unforgettable.

Back to the present

"You are Charlos… aren't you?"

Saint Roselith Seraphina stood before him, her expression calm

Yet her eyes carried something far colder.

Recognition.

Memory.

And a trace

Of lingering displeasure.

"Long time no see."

Her lips curved slightly.

Not warmth.

Something far more dangerous.

That incident

Had nearly cost her everything.

If she had not sensed it

If she had not intervened

She might have lost the only person she considered a true friend.

And that

Was unforgivable.

For someone like Charlos

Who never learned

There would be no leniency.

"L-Long time… no see…"

Charlos stuttered, his entire body trembling.

"…Saint Roselith…"

His voice cracked.

"Then tell me."

Her tone dropped.

"What are you doing here?"

He hesitated.

Silence.

Wrong choice.

Her hand moved.

Grabbing him effortlessly

Lifting him off the ground.

His body dangled helplessly.

"Answer me."

Her grip tightened slightly.

Fear flooded his face.

"Saint Roselith Seraphina! Release him immediately!"

A voice roared.

Saint Rosward rushed forward, anger and panic mixing in his expression.

"This is our residence!"

Seraphina turned her head slightly.

"Oh?"

Her gaze returned to Charlos.

"So this is your house…"

Without warning

She leaped.

Landing effortlessly on the palace railing.

High above the ground.

The wind howled.

Below

A deadly drop.

And then

She pulled him outward.

Over the edge.

"What what are you doing?!"

Charlos screamed.

His voice breaking completely.

"Please !"

"Spare me!"
