Fami's reaction completely caught Cael off guard.
Then he suddenly realized something.
Only someone like him, a transmigrator, would understand the hidden meaning behind the phrase making dumplings.
"Yes." Fami nodded with complete seriousness. "I can help roll the dumpling skins. Can I have some after they're cooked?"
Cael stared at her in disbelief.
Judging from her expression, she was completely serious.

Did this woman have zero awareness of the terrible things she had done?
Did she not understand the situation she was currently in?
Then again, devils never thought like humans.
"Eat dumplings?" Cael nearly lost his mind. "I'll treat you to a damn Withering Heart Piercing Attack!"
With that said, Cael activated the Root skill he had just obtained.
Holding Fami by the collar with one hand, he slammed his other palm onto the top of her head.
"Fear Extraction!"
He wanted her to taste her own medicine.
If he could extract the Hunger Devil's fear, it might even kill her.
But nothing happened.
Cael extracted absolutely nothing.
What the hell?

"Fear Extraction!"
Cael smacked the top of her head again.
Still nothing.
He frowned.
Maybe the position was wrong?
Cael slapped her shoulder.

He smacked her chest.

Still nothing worked.
None of the attempts produced any reaction.
At that moment, Fami's stomach growled softly.
She was hungry.
Cael finally understood.
It wasn't that the ability had failed.
Fami simply had no fear.
Even after getting her teeth knocked out, she wasn't afraid of Cael in the slightest.
The only thing she seemed worried about was how difficult it would be to eat.
Forget it.
Even if Fear Extraction and Withering Heart Piercing Attack did not work on her, Cael still had other ways to deal with her.
He could simply use a black hole and melt her.
Right then, Asa suddenly spoke.
"Cael, maybe there's some misunderstanding between you and Sister Fami. Why don't we talk first?"

A black hole began condensing in Cael's palm.
When dealing with someone like the Hunger Devil, hesitation was stupid.
Seeing the killing intent in Cael's eyes, the person in question remained completely calm.
Fami tilted her head slightly, looking almost bored.
"Cael, I don't know what my little sister told you, but I never intended to kill my third sister."
Cael froze instantly.
He even loosened his grip on her collar.
"What little sister? Third sister? What the hell are you talking about?"
Fami calmly straightened her wrinkled collar.
Then she glanced at Reze.
"You have blood with you, right? Can you give me half a bag?"
Devils could recover by drinking blood, and Fami was no exception.
"No."
Reze refused immediately.
She had no intention of helping an enemy recover.
However, what Reze did not know was that Fami actually disliked drinking blood.
She only wanted her teeth to grow back faster so she could eat potstickers without trouble.
"Oh."
Fami looked mildly disappointed.
"It's fine. I can recover after eating."
"Stop changing the subject," Cael said coldly.
"Oh."
Fami looked directly at him with her distinctive orange ringed eyes.
"As you can see, the War Devil, Asa Mitaka, is my third sister."
"The one who contacted you and revealed my location is most likely my little sister."
"Since you already know her identity, I don't need to introduce her."
Cael fell silent.
Makima had told him about the Hunger Devil, but she never mentioned anything about them being sisters.
So Asa, or rather Yoru, was Fami's third sister?
And Makima was her younger sister?
What the hell kind of family drama was this?
Was she making this up?
Cael glanced at Asa, silently asking for confirmation.
Asa took a deep breath.
"Fami is indeed Yoru's older sister."
At that moment, Asa was more focused on the mysterious little sister Fami mentioned.
Judging from the way Fami spoke, Cael seemed to have a close relationship with that person.
For some reason, Asa suddenly felt uneasy.
"Yoru, you actually have a younger sister?" Asa asked internally.
"Ah, um... I think so," Yoru replied vaguely.
"What kind of devil is she? Is she prettier than me?"
"I don't remember."
"Seriously? That's way too careless."
Yoru had no interest in continuing the conversation.
She was currently stuck on a completely different problem.
How could Chainsaw Man possibly be her daughter?
Eventually, Cael sighed and decided to temporarily accept Fami's explanation.
"But you still let a devil eat Asa. How do you explain that?"
Fami gently rubbed her forehead.
"You were eaten together with my third sister. Didn't you two have plenty of fun inside the Eternal Devil's stomach?"
The Eternal Devil was one of her pawns, and she was fully aware of everything that happened to it.
Hearing that, Cael's expression stiffened.
Asa's face instantly turned bright red.
She couldn't take this anymore.
They had clearly been in Hell.
And Kobeni had already been peeping at them back then.
If Asa ever learned that Makima had also been secretly watching from the human world, she might die from embarrassment.
Reze looked stunned.
Hold on.
What did she mean by having fun?
Looking at everyone's expressions, Reze quickly pieced things together.
Which meant that Cael and Asa had actually matured their relationship in Hell.
If they needed to vent their emotions, they could have easily come to her instead.
Fami, however, could read hearts.
Once everyone had calmed down, she finally revealed her real goal.
"I never wanted to kill you."
"I only wanted my third sister to experience extreme hunger inside the Eternal Devil."
"After that, I would have released you myself."
Asa frowned.
"Why?"
Fami tilted her head slightly.
"I am the Hunger Devil. I can control creatures that are starving."
"As long as someone reaches extreme hunger, I can turn their power into my pawn."
Cael rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
"So you did all of this to become stronger."
That explanation actually made sense.
Fami shook her head.
"No."
"I did it to save the human world."
