Aldo tossed the snakeskin bag onto the ground and began untying the rope around it.
With only his left hand remaining, the process was painfully slow.
"I've heard people say your skills are incredible," Aldo said.
"So tell me, can you handle a corpse in this condition?"
Once the bag was open, Aldo grabbed a corner of the bottom and lifted it sharply.
Clatter.
Chunks of human flesh spilled from the bag and scattered across the floor.
Arms, legs, pieces of torso, fragments of bone. The smell of blood quickly thickened the air.
Asa frowned deeply and covered her nose.
She retched twice.
The nausea surged again, threatening to make her vomit.
Perhaps it was because she had been juggling work and studying lately. Asa had not been eating well, and she had been feeling nauseous often.
Aldo stared at the pile of body parts and spoke in a low, gloomy tone.
"This is my second older brother."
"He was chopped into hundreds of pieces by a devil."
"I tried to gather everything and piece him back together before coming here."
"But unfortunately..."
"There were probably too many rats, wild dogs, or stray cats."
"Not only are his organs missing, but half of his ass is gone."
"And both of his balls are missing too."
Cael glanced at the mess without much interest.
"Send me a photo, leave ten million yen, and I will return a complete second brother to you in four days."
The price was outrageous.
Normally, repairing a corpse in this state would cost around 2.5 million yen.
But Asa had just retched because of this bastard.
Cael immediately disliked him.
And when Cael disliked someone, the price always went up.
Most people would refuse such a ridiculous offer.
Aldo raised an eyebrow and smiled.
"Only ten million yen?"
"Oh my, what a generous price."
"Several other places refused to take my brother."
"Thank you. Then we have a deal."
Hmm?
He agreed that easily?
Something felt strange.
Looking closer, Cael noticed that Aldo's decadent face seemed vaguely familiar.
A bright smile spread across Aldo's face as he extended his remaining left hand.
"Pleasure doing business with you, Cael."
"Come on, let's shake hands."
"Shake hands?"
Aldo frowned.
"What, are you discriminating against me because I'm disabled?"
Slap.
With a faint smile, Cael firmly grabbed Aldo's hand.
"Of course not. I am an undertaker who respects disabled people the most."
Inside, Aldo was ecstatic.
The corners of his mouth twitched upward uncontrollably.
Success.
The moment their palms touched, Aldo carefully released a stream of super strong glue from his sleeve.
It bonded their hands together instantly.
Now Cael was trapped.
Victory was already decided.
Next, Aldo would unleash the power of the Earthquake Devil.
Time to shake things up.
Which was more terrifying, a chainsaw or an earthquake?
The answer was obvious.
The Earthquake Devil possessed power strong enough to shatter mountains and overturn seas. Crushing a chainsaw man would be effortless.
"Friend, you're holding my hand a little tightly, aren't you?" Cael said calmly.
He had noticed Aldo's little trick from the start.
As expected, the guy had bad intentions.
Still, since Aldo wanted to get close, Cael saw no reason to refuse.
Seeing Cael remain completely calm made Aldo's blood boil.
But since Cael was about to die anyway, Aldo did not bother arguing.
It was time to reveal himself.
As a proud master assassin, Aldo had no interest in hiding his identity from prey.
A contemptuous smile appeared on his face.
"Oh, right."
"I almost forgot to introduce myself."
"My name is Aldo."
"And this pile of meat on the floor is my brother Joey..."
Before he could finish, Cael scratched his head and cut him off.
"And your eldest brother is Richard."
"I buried him in the ground as fertilizer."
"Aldo, I don't know why you went through all the trouble to come here and die."
"But can you hurry the fuck up?"
"I want to take my wife out for a walk."
"Huh?"
Aldo's eyes widened.
How could he tolerate that?
His brothers' wills had been insulted.
His forehead veins bulged violently.
"F**K!"
"Feel the power of collapsing mountains!"
"Cael, crumble into dust for me!"
Nothing happened.
"What?!"
Aldo froze.
"Break apart, Cael!" he shouted again, forcing his power.
Cael yawned.
No matter how hard Aldo tried, Cael remained standing there without moving.
"Wait... where the hell is my power?" Aldo muttered, his face turning red.
Did the Earthquake Devil lie to him?
"Stop fooling around. The supermarket has a sale today. If we go late, everything will be gone," Asa said quietly.
Even though she earned her own money now, she could never shake the habit of shopping during sales.
"Alright, alright. Whatever Asa says."
Cael squeezed his palm slightly.
Crack.
The crisp sound of bone breaking echoed.
"Aaaargh!" Aldo screamed, tears pouring down his face. "Earthquake, you lying piece of shit! Where is my power?!"
A voice echoed inside Aldo's mind.
The Earthquake Devil sounded surprised.
"I didn't lie to you. The moment I touch that man, my power stops working."
"I see... I get it now."
"It must be because of him. Let go of him first, then activate the vibration. It will definitely work."
"I... I can't let go..."
The glue had worked too well.
Without a special solvent, the only way to separate was to cut off a hand.
"Heh. Then I can't help you," the Earthquake Devil replied coldly. "You brought this on yourself, idiot."
Cael ignored the rambling completely.
With a casual motion, he lifted Aldo into the air like a dead dog.
Then he looked gently at Asa.
"Asa, why don't you wait outside? I don't want blood splashing on you."
"Okay. Just be quick."
Asa jogged out of the shop.
The pile of body parts on the floor made her stomach churn.
She really might throw up.
After she left, Cael looked back at Aldo and smiled kindly.
"Alright. Now it's our turn."
"FK! FK! F**K!" Aldo roared helplessly.
A moment later, Cael grabbed Aldo and began smashing him against the ground.
Thump. Thump. Thump.
Again and again.
After a dozen seconds, Aldo stopped moving.
His face had completely collapsed.
His entire body was a bloody mess.
His nose was no longer a nose. His face was no longer a face.
Both eyeballs had burst under the pressure.
His intestines spilled from his navel and spread across the floor.
The courtyard, already stained with blood, now looked like the aftermath of a brutal murder.
A black hole devoured Aldo's twisted hand, dissolving the glue.
Cael clapped his hands in mild frustration.
"Now all three brothers are together."
"Happy?"
After finishing Aldo, Cael walked out of the shop.
He would clean everything later.
He did not want to keep Asa waiting.
Just as Cael stepped outside, the brain inside Aldo's ruined corpse twitched slightly.
His body was dead.
Completely immobile.
But his brain had not fully shut down yet.
Aldo could still form one last thought.
"Hehe..."
"I'm... not dead yet..."
"I told you..."
"I'm immortal..."
"Earth... Earthquake Devil..."
Sensing Aldo's call, the Earthquake Devil felt delighted.
Suppressing its excitement, it spoke in a calm voice.
"Young man, do you still require something from this old one?"
"I... want to sacrifice..."
"Myself... and my second brother's body..."
"Please... descend..."
"Let me see your full power..."
"Kill... kill Cael..."
Hearing this request, the scattered bone fragments across Aldo's body began vibrating.
They gathered together and formed a wide, grotesque mouth.
What a sensible child.
Even in death, he knew not to waste anything.
In that case, it might as well take the offering while it was still fresh.
"Alright," the Earthquake Devil replied with a smile.
