Prologue (2)
-The Abyss- (Third person pov/Alex pov)
A gray soul with a ruby red core appears in a pitch black place where darkness itself moved alongside massive things crawling , skittering and slithering throughout it all with them whispering forbidden secrets of creation.
The first thing Alex heard felt like a poison that was eating though him and resonating with knowledge he already had in his mind.
M͉̅ͮ͒ͤā̤̓̍͘ĝ̽̓̀͑ṇ̤͛̒̍ư̡͕̭̇ḿ̬̏ͤͅ T̨͈͗̌ͥẹ̿͋̒̕ṇ̤͛̒̍ẹ̿͋̒̕b̬͖̏́͢r̴̨̦͕̝o̯̱̊͊͢s̠҉͍͊ͅư̡͕̭̇ḿ̬̏ͤͅ
He felt the true meaning of those words.
The spawn of A̷͙ͭͫ̕z̼͙̓́ͭā̤̓̍͘t̲̂̓ͩ̑ḣ̖̻͛̓o̯̱̊͊͢t̲̂̓ͩ̑ḣ̖̻͛̓ The Bind Idiot God, Lord of all things,Nuclear Chaos,Daemon Sultan. The great darkness that spans creation the true darkness the Mother of Shub-Nigg—--
'SHUT UP THIS IS MY MIND MINE.'
The ruby red core of Alex's grey soul started glowing, burning away the grey , turning the rest of his soul into a ruby red that burned the darkness that tried to touch it.
'And why are you trying to force knowledge I already know on to me, I didn't know studying the outer gods would come back to bite me like this.'
Alex then started taking in his situation noticing that the whispers stopped. He could hear things around him, skittering and crawling steamingly moving closer to him.
Alex felt nothing at the thought because at this point , his rage had turned into nothing but a cold resolve to live, no matter what He didn't care how big and strong any of these creatures were, he would kill them if they tried to kill him If they tried to eat him , he would tear them apart from the inside eating away at them like a Parasite before tearing himself free.
Alex felt the darkness around him ripple with amusement at his thoughts and he pushed back any annoyance , he felt because of it centering himself.
Noticing that he was a rounded ball and that he could not see anything around him but He could feel and hear the things around him.
'I think therefore I am right.'
Alex felt agony but pushed through it anyway feeling something break, he felt relief flood over him like he just tore a chain out of his flesh.
As his soul shifted shape and into being something more human matching his previous life's appearance just burning red.
He felt the darkness around him ripple faintly with surprise as he forced his eyes open.
Feeling cracks run around his body He ignored it as he finally forced his eyes open seeing the things that were tiring to grab him.
Alex noticed something immediately as well and that is that something was protecting him as none of the things trying to grab him could do so being stopped just before they could reach him.
He felt his body crack more as he observed the things around him white hot pain ripping though him he didnt care about the pain just like he didnt care that he felt horror, dread ,helpless or the sadness he felt over everything he had lost no he did something he was great at while he was alive turning those emotions into rage.
Rage that Alex used to keep himself together but he also noticed something his body started glowing brighter with some of the cracks healing.
'Huh wait, how did i do that.'
Alex then felt the darkness around him ripple with amusement but he could tell that there was something else underneath that surprised him slightly….. possessiveness like there was something that made him special to it the moment that thought finished forming
Alex watched as the darkness he was in violently rippled, throwing him around however from what he could tell he was being treated nicely as he saw the other creatures in the darkness getting torn apart.
'Why does this remind me of something.'
Alex had his hand on his chin thinking at this point deciding to flow with the chaos around him as he knew that the darkness wouldn't hurt him at least that was his gut feeling he had decided to follow he pervious idea and find out why this behavior felt familiar and in less than a second he made the connection.
Alex's mouth moved before he could stop himself.
"Are you being a tsundere right now….. No, that's not right, you're just shy?"
He immediately saw and felt the darkness still in shock with it being embarrassed?
'How can I know or even tell what it feels.'
Alex then heard the darkness say something angry?
"S̵̙͕̀̃ḣ̖̻͛̓ẹ̿͋̒̕ f̵͖̜̉ͅẹ̿͋̒̕ẹ̿͋̒̕l̙͖̑̾ͣs̠҉͍͊ͅ ṇ̤͛̒̍o̯̱̊͊͢t̲̂̓ͩ̑ ỉ͔͖̜͌t̲̂̓ͩ̑."
The word reverberated throughout the space around him constantly repeating.
Alex then yelled out .
"I UNDERSTAND CAN YOU STOP I CAN BARELY THINK."
Alex then stopped hearing the message thinking...
'wait trunk-kun killing me coming here and an outer god that is not just possessive of me no shes obsessed with me. The great darkness, a primordial eldritch entity..how did this happen?'
He then felt something even more confusing: The darkness around him preening??? under the recognition he just gave it.
'What can you at least tell me why.'
Alex then felt the darkness gently poke his mind asking for permission that he gave Instantly deciding to run with his gut feeling.
Images poured into his mind of a man and a pregnant woman under a ritualistic altar with a group of people chanting around them.
He felt the moment that changed it forever for The vast entity of darkness as the ENTIRETY of its being fixated on a single thing.
A ruby red soul that it couldn't peer into or change so she tried reaching for the soul only to be stopped by the barrier of the world she could have forced it , but that would only destroy her love's current vessel Instead, she made sure the soul's body would be strong enough to hold it and left a mark to watch its life unfold.
Alex looked at himself, the red that comprised his body he corrected himself this time as it's his soul he's dead…. coming to a striking realization.
'Wait so thats me and my parents were in a cult what–
The images/thoughts continue she had decided he was going to be hers but she needed to make sure her siblings couldn't steal him from her after he was hers HERSHERS .
'Calm down, I'm right here so they didn't steal me.'
Alex thought as he felt more pain as new cracks started to develop all over his soul.
He then felt the darkness around him ripple, violently, and then pull back entirely trying not to touch him, seemingly terrified of hurting him?
leaving him in some sort of empty vacuum or neither light or darkness existed.
Alex decided to push through his confusion over his ability to feel such things and treat this like the situation he was in where an Eldritch god is obsessed with him, no that was wrong obsessively in love with him just from what he just saw and felt.
He found himself strangely enough, completely fine with such a thing as long as he wasn't turned into a sex slave or trapped somewhere only she could find and get him out of.
Alex, let those last few thoughts leak outward, making sure the darkness heard it loud and clear.
He felt his lips curl into a smirk as he watched from the empty void he was in as the darkness he could see started violently, rippling and spinning in circles feeling the embarrassment, lust, shame and a deep possessiveness toward him coming from the darkness.
Alex then felt his soul crack more from the feedback.
He ignored the pain and just told it to heal itself feeling the cracks on his body Started to heal as his soul started to glow brighter.
He looked on in shock as the cracks on his body rapidly healed themselves then He then started to think on something he noticed.
' Why does it feel like I was wrapped in invisible chains when I was alive? No wait , that's wrong. I felt it briefly when I just came into here.'
'That gray stuff, what was it?'
'Because it wasn't my soul No, my soul burned all of it.'
'Wait she wanted to make sure her siblings couldn't steal Me from her.'
Alex , at this point had a vague guess but decided to just ask the darkness that was creeping back into the empty space around him.
"Hey , what was that gray stuff that surrounded my soul? I know that it had to come from you."
"You wouldn't have allowed anyone else to touch my soul at least. I can tell that much from the little I was shown."
Alex then felt a mess of emotions poor off the darkness self-hate guilt possessiveness and an overwhelming deep love.
Then the darkness around him spoke.

Alex nodded as that lined up with what he thought.
' So she made something similar to the dark sign from dark souls except without the horrific side effects of it or any other seal I can think of right now'
'Wait was my body itself also a seal because she was thinking about making a body strong enough to contain my soul maybe they went together connecting as a whole to form a closed loop that would only end when I die because the body isn't there any more.'
'Then that mark on my soul would be used to pull me into this realm. I mean, it's a good plan .It makes sure that nobody else would be able to get me , that was a factor because there were multiple different eldritch entities on my earth.'
Alex felt ironclad certainty well up from his gut at his last thought as he started connecting things together faster and faster feeling like a connection was reforming between his mind and soul.
He then said " What exactly, did you seal because I feel better now like a fog that has always existed in my mind and chains that were placed on me have been removed."
He continued on "so I can guess that it was the conceptual portion of my existence no wait that's wrong a lot more was sealed ."
Alex felt something shatter and the moment it did his glowing body shattered as well into transparent glass like shards with all of them orbiting the red sun that was his soul.
He felt his sense of self start to shatter and heal, under the stress and decided to go even further feeling like he was on the verge of doing something great.
As he pushed through the pain, knowledge and understanding poured into him every time he healed like the cracks that were widening in his mind were being filled by more of him but not him.
The red Sun glowed brighter and brighter as the Transparent fragments of Alex's body got closer and closer and they started to merge together and as the last fragment merged.
Alex felt everything that composed his existence: time, space, distance, memory and the concepts that made up his being connecting together after being separated for so long, he then felt something pulling him in.
(Scene change)
Alex woke up to water filling his lungs panicking he tried to breathe only Noticing immediately that he could, It was just a weird feeling breathing in water instead of air
Noticing that he was not in any danger.
He decided to look around at his surroundings. Looking up through the water he saw a vast starry sky wrong look down he then turned around Looking at everything around him seeing nothing but endless water flowing look DOWN.
Alex felt something break slightly as a glaring red light lit up the abyss below him for an instant before being swallowed by darkness.
He then understood where he was.
'Ah my mind, I guess those mental chants and mantras really did do something other than help me control my emotions.'
Alex chuckled to himself.
'The mind is like water indeed but that darkness doesn't belong here. I can feel the difference remnants of the seal left over?.'
Alex's smile grew wider as he swam downward, looking at the vast darkness below him and felt the growing connection to what could only be his soul wrong.
He heard it this time as the connection was strong enough.
'Hmm so I'm wrong. How so voice in my head, wait don't tell me I know.'
Alex understood on an instinctual level what the voice was,it was funnily enough his subconscious that is more conscious of everything currently going on then him.
As it had been trapped because of the seal placed on him and well, from what he could tell and instinctually understood.Because of that and the fact that all of his instincts were haphazardly suppressed It had to become a fully conscious entity In order for him to survive the seals.
'Huh so the seals placed on me almost killed me. It does make sense after all from what I can understand, wouldn't you need to know where to place the seals and she apparently couldn't look into my existence.'
'So what she thought she did is not actually what she did. When she sealed my soul she also sealed the subconscious parts of my mind and most of my conscious mind. That included the parts that controlled and regulated the amount of energy I was generating.'
Alex's smile got larger as he got closer and red light started to bleed through what seemed like cracks in the darkness.
'With my portion being what generated the energy.'
'Meaning my subconscious/soul at this point barely had enough energy for the continuation of my existence and what I generated was constantly being forced into my body instead of flowing like it was supposed to in between my mind body and soul.'
Alex chuckles as red light pours through the widening cracks and mixing with the water at rapid speed filling his mind with organized information about himself.
As the information kept pouring in he realized something else , and it was the fact that that apparently there was a one way connection Where anything that he read, seen or felt the other him also felt but he couldn't do anything at all except, keep them alive and understand and sort the information the outer part of him gathered.
Alex's smile got wider as he heard the other him much clearer now without the previous disconnect their thoughts flowing into one another.
He then noticed that he reached the bottom, He reached out his hand and touched the darkness full of cracks .
'I just need todo this.'
As all of the water that was flowing undisturbed around him. Started pouring through the cracks , widening them.
The red light intensified as they mixed together.
Until finally the barrier shattered into millions of tiny fragments that first got crushed by the water before a pulse of red light vaporized them.
Alex then looked at what the barrier was covering a human sized ruby red ball of light surrounded by books. That shot up toward him only stopping when it was about to touch him.
He looked at it and nodded as the both of them moved together Meeting each other in the middle and then as they touched Alex's transparent body and His inner self started merging together.
(3rd person pov)
When this all of the waters around them started turning a burning red before pulled in in from all sides alongside the books that Alex's inner self was surrounded by the coalescing red vortex in the center of Alex's Mindscape.
This process continued until there was nothing left except the starry sky and the brightly glowing vortex that continued rotating faster and faster, gradually flattening and becoming thinner.
The vortex continued spinning getting thinner and thinner until it started collapsing in on itself then it was gradually compressed into a tremendous dense crimson orb that started leaking a thick crimson liquid covered in scriptures and texts that flowed in and on the liquid like water with the liquid itself paradoxically staying completely still even as more of it poured out of the orb.
That grew smaller and smaller as more of the crimson liquid came out of it until there was no orb at all, just a lake's worth of still crimson liquid covered in flowing scriptures and text that slowly stopped flowing altogether settling and becoming one with the crimson liquid, with one being unable to tell where the other begins and ends.
Ripples appear on the surface of the still crimson liquid as two bone white arms covered in multicolored eyes that shifted and moved with bone thin hands and curled fingers and blood red scalpel like nails burst through the surface grabbing the liquid ,as it started pulling itself up.
It's white skull being the first part that came through with thirteen spiral horns, crowning its head, the face was skeletal and elongated with a mouth of razor-sharp teeth its eyes Were the most unnerving part though with the pupil being a crimson that was surrounded by rings of gold looking at everything around it with an unnatural clarity as it continued pulling itself out of the crimson liquid.
Its upper body was the next part to come out looking bony and hollow, as you could see its ribs and spine peeking out from the skin because of how thin it was then, muscle rapidly started filling up the chest, making it look toned and healthy even if bone white and also being covered in eyes and shifting symbols that hurt to stare at for too long.
And finally , it pulled its lower body out with its legs being long, thin and spindly and its feet looking like bony talons with blood red razor sharp nails before just like with the upper body muscle rapidly started filling them as it stood up to its full height of three meters looking up at the still starry sky above it and started laughing at the exhilaration of being free from all its bonds.
After it was finished laughing the creature that was once Alex Carter smiled showing more of its razor sharp teeth it then got bored of the unchanging scenery snapping its fingers making the still crimson , liquid full of texts and starry sky resume their movements both of them flowing and shifting together one reflecting the other's movements completely in sync.

(AN: This is for anyone who's confused so Alex in this new version of the story was never a human to begin with he was a newly born conceptual entity that was forced to be a human.
This crippled him on a conceptual level As the concepts he was supposed to embody never actualized internally because the seals that were placed on him by a being who couldn't see what it was doing.
And here's a tad bit of a spoiler the seals were placed on him also partially for his own sake because his world was dangerous.
what happened in the interlude in the last chapter will have a massive effect on the early and later parts of the story.
Also I have to say that the fanfic writer curse is a real thing because ever since i've started writing, i've been hit with one thing after another or maybe I'm just unlucky.
But I wanted to get these two chapters out just so you guys could have something to read there's another two parts to the prologue that i'm still working on.
