I wasn't sure my ears were hearing right. Remove the womb? I was not hearing right. Just one talk with that old man and she went crazy.
It sounded so absurd in my mind that I couldn't help but break down laughing, which might not be the best thing to do. Athy frowned, staring at me. "Does it sound funny?" Her voice irked.
I cleared my throat, holding back my laugh, "Why did you have such a thought?" I was concerned, this didn't seem something she had thought for long but an impulse. What did that crazy old man say for her to react like that?
"I am only useful to my grandpa for my womb and at disadvantageous to your grandpa because of my womb. I am removing the root problem, neither of them coming after me." She shrugged telling it so casually that she was throwing away some old clothes.
