Cliff's POV
"What kind of twisted game are you playing? Why did you marry Stephanie?" Lexi looked ready to grab my collar. This short, barely five-foot woman was coming after me like I had stolen her jewels.
"Do you think she is some easy target for you to play with? You STD hub. Even my urge to slap you feels like catching your strays."
I was flabbergasted. This was the first time I had met her, and she was already throwing insults at me. She didn't even know me. If she wasn't Stephanie's only friend, I would have gifted her to Alex to create another piece. Though, seeing how they both came together, she was his next target.
"Are you done?" I chose to stay patient and let Alex do his magic. While Lexi was yelling, Alex moved toward the slime head. He gave me a quick glance, waiting for my signal before taking further action. The club was still quiet, with onlookers staring at us, and with my name revealed, the murmurs grew louder.
