Stephanie's POV
The buzzing noise continued to pound inside my head like a pendulum. I tried to open my eyes, trying to get an idea of what caused this. My vision was still hazy as I looked around. I was back in my room by some miracle.
I knew the last place I was in was the club, talking to Andrey about the incident from five years ago. How I ended up back home was a puzzle. However, my brain wasn't in the right place to solve anything. My head felt like it had turned into two tons of steel, and getting up would snap my neck in two.
"UGH…" I groaned in pain. Every part of me felt like it was trying to kill me.
"Awake?" Just as I thought nothing could be worse, the familiar voice beside me woke me right up. I forgot my headache and turned around instantly.
