Seeing Ash and his group about to walk away, the Team Rocket Trio panicked and leaped down from a height of over ten meters.
They took the opportunity to throw a smoke bomb onto the path ahead of Ash and his group.

The man roared angrily, "Ash, since you know who I am, hand over the Celebi immediately!"
Jessie looked at the robot, puzzled, "What is that?"
"To think he wants to steal our prey, Meowth!"
"How could we let him get away with it?"
James immediately took out Weezing.
"Celebi will never be handed over to people like you," Sammy shouted.
"Hmph! Since you won't hand it over voluntarily, then you can just die!" the man raged.
"An idiot is an idiot. Even Giovanni wouldn't dare speak to me like that. Pikachu, Thunderbolt."
As soon as Ash finished speaking, Pikachu jumped up and unleashed the move on the man.
Seeing that Ash didn't play by the rules, the man hurriedly pressed another button, and a device for absorbing electrical energy opened up on the robot.

As soon as the man finished speaking, Tyranitar opened its mouth and fired a Hyper Beam.
"Pikachu, use Thunderbolt."

The lightning and the beam collided, creating a violent explosion that kicked up a cloud of dust.
Ash and his group took advantage of the smoke cover to slip away quietly.
On the other side, the Team Rocket Trio saw their chance, and James hurriedly ordered Weezing to use Smokescreen.
"We won't forgive anyone who tries to steal our prey!" Jessie said.
The next second, a yellow light shot toward them, scaring the three of them into covering their heads and hiding.
The dust cleared, and the man controlled his robot to approach the trio.
Looking at the somewhat familiar group, he asked, "Who are you?"
The trio finally got a clear look at the man.
Jessie hesitated, "Ah! That mask, could you be..."
"The evil Pokémon master, Meowth!"
"The Elite Team Rockets officer, the Iron-Masked Marauder?!"

The trio fawned.
The Iron-Masked Marauder didn't hold the trio's interference against them; instead, he took out two more Dark Poké Balls and released a Sneasel and a Scizor to pursue Ash and his group.
Meanwhile, Ash and his group, who hadn't run far, encountered a new little problem.
Due to the impact of the explosion, Misty had sprained her foot. Her ankle was abnormally swollen, and she couldn't run at all.
"Misty, bear with it for a moment," Ash said.
He then used Natural Power to treat her. Before he could finish, Pikachu and Eevee seemed to sense something and struck a battle stance toward the rear.
