There was noises.
The tiny girl heard a lot of noises.
"Awww she looks soooo cute!" A clear woman voice said.
"She gonna wake up now, move you rat!" Another male voice said.
Lilith yawned as she stretched out and sat up, rubbing her eyes tiredly. It was morning.
"M…M…Milky a…a…Annie pretty please…" Lilith said as she felt a cup in her hand and drank all the milk.
"Good?" The lady said.
Lilith nodded.
But when her eyes were wide open she saw Nikolai sitting there, and six people — four girls and two boys.
"W…where a..m I…?" the tiny girl said in Russian.
"Little baby," the lady said softly. "Come on let get you something to eat."
Lilith got scared a bit.
"B…b..but m..y…brothers… and… Annie…" Lilith said in New York Nikolai spoke
"I took you, Bambi," Nikolai said as he took her hand and lifted her in his arms, carrying her to the dining table.
This is rare. He never goes closer to any female. But now with her, he close. She is in a childlike state tho, his sister said.
Nikolai's sisters were four — Arina, Zhanna, Meghna and Daria — and his brother name is Yulian.
They all sat down.
"Bambi, here you go," Nikolai said as he gave her another milk. He was gentle with her.
"Brother is so calm and gentle with her," Yulian said to his sisters.
"Maybe it because she mentally unstable I guess?" Arina said, rolling her eyes. She was rude sometimes.
"Hey girl!" Arina said loudly.
Lilith covered her ears from the loud noises. She hates loud noises.
"Arina," Damian said as he sat beside Lilith. "Baccha (child). Theek hai chhoti baby ab aur shor mat karo (Okay little baby no more loud noises)."
Lilith nodded.
Her iPad was ringing.
Daria took it. "Anika?" she said.
"A…Annie…" Lilith whispered.
"How about I talk with your Annie, hm?" Damian said.
Lilith yawned cutely as he took the call.
"Lily!" Anika said from the other side.
"She is with my boss. If he wants you or her family to speak with you all, he will call you himself. Goodbye and don't dare call again," Damian said coldly.
He ended the call.
Lilith was holding her teddy bear tightly.
"D..d…did s…s…she p…ass?" Lilith asked.
"Pas—oh she did. She said she loves you," Damian lied smoothly.
"Y…u…yay…" Lilith said with a trembling smile.
"Are you cold?" Zhanna asked in a rude tone. She is bratty but abit kind.
"N…n…no," the tiny girl said.
"How old are you?" Yulian asked.
"I…I a…am…" Lilith began counting her fingers.
"She is sixteen," Nikolai said calmly as he sat beside her, "but her mind is still a six-year-old."
Lilith was looking at Zhanna. She was extremely beautiful.
"What?" Zhanna said.
"Y…y…your r…really pretty… l…l…like the stars…" Lilith said.
Zhanna's eyes softened.
"Am pretty?" Zhanna asked.
Lilith nodded.
"Aww she so cute!" Meghna said.
"Y…y…your c…cute t…t…too," the tiny girl replied shyly.
Nikolai sat there with his cold face while his siblings were around her.
Damian gave her the medicine — the poison — which nobody knew what it was till now.
"Double the security at home. She stays here. If she wants anything, get it for her," Nikolai ordered.
"I will gone now," he said, walking away.
"D…d…do h…h…have a…coloring b…b…book?" Lilith asked softly.
"Let get one for you," Zhanna said.
"Oh wowwwwwwwww," Arina said sarcastically, rolling her eyes as they left to get the book for Lilly.
In Mumbai, there is a huge prison with the most wanted and extremely dangerous prisoners in India and aboard.
In Cell 222, a beast sat with chains on his leg. His white hair and beard made him look even more terrifying.
"S…s…sir here there is a c..call for you," the policeman said in English.
The Beast took the phone.
"Speak," he said in the deepest tone.
"The Gem has been taken away by the Russian mafia king. Yesterday Karim got shot while trying to get her back. He gave the Gem sleeping pills and left with her as an exchange, Boss," the other man said. It was Rezaul.
"When and how did she come home?" The Beast asked dangerously.
Rezaul explained everything.
"My poor little Gem…" the Beast muttered. "Keep the doctor in the mansion she stays. And I want my Gem back. Get her back before I get her myself. I will punish everyone if she doesn't get back in thirty days."
"Y…Y…Yes boss," Rezaul said.
The call ended.
One month later…
Lilith kept taking the poisonous drugs. No one knew about it.
The boys tried to get their sister back but couldn't.
Anika also went to Russia but still couldn't get her.
Tamanna hired a spy — but the spy got killed.
Vamika and Arhant were tortured as punishment.
It was a new year.
Lilith played in the snow for the first time.
Nikolai's siblings took care of her and she also helped them.
She still had panic attacks on some nights. She gets flashbacks as nightmares, but they were never clear.
Nikolai, however, was a very busy man. Women were always trying to get him — to get him in bed.
He was the richest bachelor in Moscow and the most powerful, fearless, ruthless man too.
His room was right next to Lily's room.
He ordered them to organize everything for her.
One night he couldn't sleep.
He opened Lilith's door and saw her looking at the window as it was raining.
"Bambi?" Nikolai said as he walked to her.
She was watching The Princess and the Frog Disney movie.
"Niki?" Lilith said.
He rolled his eyes. She gave him a funny nickname since she didn't know how to pronounce his name correctly.
"Bambi, it one in the morning. Come on, go to sleep," he said.
"B…but Niki I am not sleepy…" she said. Her stammering became abit clear as Damian helped her to speak clearly.
"Why?" Nikolai asked.
"I…I…miss A…Annie an…and m…my M…Mumma…" Lilith forced herself to speak.
"Tomorrow I promise you will speak to your Annie, hm? Now come on, let me put you to sleep," he said softly.
He carried her to her comfortable bed he ordered a few weeks ago.
He lay beside her as he tugged his hand inside her hair.
Her eyes slowly closed as he patted her head to sleep.
She held his arm. Her warm skin came in contact with his.
He stared at her gorgeous face.
Surprisingly, he also fell asleep.
He wrapped his arms around her and slept peacefully.
After sometimes of not sleeping, he finally got good rest and sleep.
