Chapter 114 - Fractured Bonds and Stolen Innocence.

Nikolai stormed into the house with barely contained fury, the force of his presence shifting the atmosphere instantly. Chand was on a call when it happened.

"Yes, the wedding is—"

The sentence never finished.

Nikolai snatched the phone from her hand and snapped it in two with a violent crack.

"Hey! My phone!" she exclaimed, shock turning quickly into anger. "How dare you?"

Nikolai turned on her, eyes blazing. "How dare you?"

"What do you mean?" she shot back, confused and defensive.

"HOW DARE YOU!" he roared, his voice echoing through the house.

The sudden commotion pulled everyone downstairs. Footsteps rushed, voices overlapping.

"Brother, calm down!" Taran said, trying to step between them.

"You had the audacity to post nonsense using my name," Nikolai snapped. "Everything has been ruined because of you!"

"Nick, just calm down," Viktoria added, her tone urgent.

But Nikolai wasn't listening.

"Lilith refused me access to Mila," he said sharply, voice dropping into something more dangerous. "Grandma… she refused me."

Silence fell.

Then the world shifted into a memory.

Flashback

Nikolai sat in his car, dialing repeatedly. No answer.

Then Adnana's forwarded news appeared on his screen.

"What the hell…" he whispered.

His grip tightened. "Oh no… shit."

He drove like a man possessed.

He ran upstairs and slammed the apartment door open.

"Lily?" he called.

Inside, she was there—rocking Mila gently. She laid the baby down carefully.

"Close the door," Lilith said coldly.

She stepped forward.

"I—" Nikolai started.

Before he could finish, she pushed him.

"Why are you doing this to me, Nikki?" her voice broke. "Why did you lie to me again? Why did you do this to Mila? Why did you bring us here?"

Tears streamed down her face as she slapped him and grabbed his collar.

"Why did you break my heart again, Nikolai? Why?"

"Please listen," he said quickly, cupping her face. "These are lies. I swear on Mila, I am not engaged."

"But you got her pregnant!" she cried. "You got her pregnant, and I— I tried to come to you but you kept pushing me away!"

"That's not true!" he shouted. "You left for two years with Mila! You don't trust me, Lily!"

"You are my wife. My only wife!" His voice cracked. "My love for you is endless, for fuck's sake!"

He punched the wall in frustration.

Lilith trembled.

"I know this is planned," he said more softly now, breathing hard. "I will destroy anyone who tries to separate us. But you… you don't believe me."

He moved toward Mila's room.

Lilith stepped in front of him immediately.

"No. Go away. I don't want you seeing her right now."

His eyes widened. "What?"

"Just go, Nikki."

His jaw clenched so hard it ached.

"I will take you and my daughter back," he said darkly, gripping her jaw. "Even if it's the last thing I do."

Then he left.

And behind him—her sobs shattered everything.

Flashback End

Nikolai stood in the present, rage and grief colliding inside him.

"She has to listen," he muttered.

Boss Rima stepped forward. "Calm down. We will talk to her."

"She isn't listening," Nikolai said coldly.

"She has to," Asif replied.

Chand stood near Falak. "Get out of my house."

"You can't just throw her out!" Virsa protested.

"Then take her and leave," Nikolai snapped. "Why can't you understand? I am married. I have a daughter. Why is everyone destroying that?"

Yulian stepped forward. "Two years, Nikolai."

That stopped him.

"I waited two years," he said, voice breaking under pressure. "To hold my baby girl. To love her. To give her everything. To watch her walk and run."

He stepped closer to Virsa, gripping her shoulders.

"But YOU destroyed everything I worked for!"

Virsa trembled.

"Get out of my house," he growled. "Or I swear I'll send you to God before your time."

"Enough!" Viktoria rushed forward, pulling him away.

"Come," she said firmly.

Nikolai resisted for a second… then broke.

He collapsed into Viktoria's arms, shaking.

"I just want them back," he whispered. "I just want them back…"

Morning – Lilith's Side

Lilith got Mila ready for school preparations, holding her carefully.

"Who will look after you while I'm gone?" she whispered.

Mila slept peacefully against her chest.

She stepped outside.

A neighbor smiled warmly. "Good morning, Lily."

"Good morning," she replied softly.

"I heard shouting last night. Is everything okay?"

Lilith hesitated. Then shook her head.

"Oh… I'm sorry," the woman said gently. "I have a daughter who can help babysit if you ever need."

Minutes later, Mila was in safe hands with Vlada, a calm young woman.

"Be a good girl, Mila," Lilith said softly.

Mila babbled sleepily, "Ba ba…"

Lilith smiled faintly and left for school.

School

Everything felt heavier than usual.

Lilith sat with new friends—twins Wiktor and Wiktoria, and Gloria.

"You've been like this for weeks," Gloria said gently. "Is Mila okay?"

"She's fine…" Lilith whispered, wiping her eyes. "It's just… complicated."

She told them everything.

"WHAT?" Kesian exclaimed. "That's insane."

"He didn't see Mila for two years?" Gloria asked.

Lilith nodded.

"Can we meet her?" Wiktor asked suddenly.

She hesitated… then nodded slightly. "Okay."

For a moment, she smiled again.

Across the room, Diana watched silently.

"She's your target?" Dominik asked.

"She's annoying," Diana replied.

"She thinks she's better than us," Tiffany added.

At lunch, Diana approached.

"You can take my food," Lilith said politely, handing it to Wiktoria.

"Thank you," Wiktoria smiled.

Diana stepped closer.

"You're the topper everyone talks about," she said.

"Yes," Lilith replied calmly.

Diana leaned in. "People like you don't belong here. You think you can enter rich schools and make friends for connections."

Lilith gave a small laugh.

"I don't use people," she said simply. "I don't make friends for status. I make real friends."

Diana scoffed.

"You'll regret talking back to me."

"I didn't insult you," Lilith said softly. "I just asked you to leave us alone."

They walked away without another word.

Behind them, whispers spread.

"She's fearless," someone said.

One Month Later

Everything had changed.

Nikolai had not seen Lilith or Mila.

But he watched them through hidden cameras.

Mila grew.

Lilith worked harder than ever.

Diana continued her silent provocations.

But something worse was coming.

The Abduction

At home, Mila sat peacefully with Vlada and Marisol.

Then the doorbell rang.

A man stood outside.

"Delivery for Ms Lilith."

Before anything else could happen—

"Hands up!" he shouted, pulling a gun.

Chaos exploded.

"Shhh baby stay here," Marisol whispered, hiding Mila.

More men entered.

"We want the child," one said coldly.

Mila whimpered. "Dada…" she whispered.

In Nikolai's office, his pen suddenly pierced his finger.

Blood dripped.

A strange sense of dread hit him instantly.

At the apartment—

"Found her," one man said.

"No! She's just a baby!" Marisol cried.

A gun butt struck her head.

Mila was ripped away.

Blood stained the floor.

"No!" Vlada screamed, firing back as chaos erupted.

The men escaped with Mila.

The Call

"Hello?" she answered.

Her face changed instantly.

"What?"

Her hands shook.

"I'm coming," she whispered.

She dropped everything.

Something was wrong.

Something was terribly wrong.

Meanwhile

Upstairs, Lilith burst into the apartment.

"Mila—Mila—Mila!"

Blood.

Chaos.

Empty room.

Her knees nearly gave out.

"What happened?" she whispered.

Marisol and Vlada explained through tears.

"They took her…"

Lilith's breath stopped.

Then—

"Take me to Nikolai," she said, voice shaking but sharp.

"Now."

Damian arrived just then. "What the hell—"

"Now!" she screamed.

And for the first time—

the broken heiress stopped being fragile.

She became something dangerous.

A mother ready to burn the world down.
