Even without the shout, plenty of others had already spotted the white dots plummeting from the sky.
Tension swept through the entire lakeside in a heartbeat.
Just moments ago some of them had boldly claimed they weren't afraid even if Rasa came personally—this was their home field, they could shoot the eggs down mid-air.
But now that the moment had arrived, every single one of them felt their nerves tighten.

The Mist ninja surrounding the massive lake snapped into full alert.
"Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet!"
Multiple Mist ninja formed seals at once.

Most eyes stayed locked on Rasa high above.
No one noticed the invisible figure rapidly approaching the lake's surface.

The chameleon plunged into the water.
Riding the current, it slipped deep into the lake and sank straight to the bottom of the dam.
A figure suddenly appeared—Pakura.
She quickly pulled out a huge stack of explosive tags and began sticking them rapidly across the base of the dam.
Soon the entire bottom section was covered in a dense layer.
Only then did some Mist ninja finally sense something wrong underwater.
"Something's off!"
"There's movement in the lake!"
"Rasa's creating a diversion—their target is the dam!"
A ninja shouted in alarm.
Immediately, over a dozen figures dove into the water.
"Someone's at the dam base!"
"It's Pakura!"
"Kill her!"
The Mist ninja already hated Pakura with a burning passion. Realizing they'd been tricked and that she was sabotaging their crucial dam made their fury explode.
Some formed hand seals.
Others ordered the ferocious predator fish in the lake to attack.
The entire lake turned into complete chaos.
All focus shifted to Pakura.
But Pakura remained perfectly calm.
She kept placing tags until the very last one.
"Detonate!"
She triggered the final tag at the end of the chain.
Then she pulled Hiramekarei off her back and poured a massive amount of chakra into it.

An enormous chakra sphere suddenly materialized.

A thunderous explosion erupted underwater.
The terrifying force spread violently in every direction.

Huge volumes of water surged toward the center, then shot upward before crashing back down.
A massive whirlpool formed in the middle of the lake.
But the Mist ninja's hatred for Pakura ran too deep.
Even in this chaos, several of them kept chasing her—and actually closed in.
