Returning to the Class 9 training grounds.

Rokuro rested for a short while until 6:00 PM sharp.

At this time, the running training for Class 9 began again, so he got up and ran with them.

With his stamina.

Running five kilometers was absolutely no problem.

The other children in Class 9 were only halfway done by the time he finished his five kilometers.

To show off his ability and make Okamoto value him.

Rokuro didn't rest. Instead, he continued running until every child in Class 9 had finished. By the time he stopped, he had run five laps.

Each lap was 2.5 kilometers.

That meant Rokuro had run another 12.5 kilometers in the two and a half hours that evening.

Such perseverance and stamina made Okamoto extremely satisfied. During dinner that night, he added another large piece of meat to Rokuro's meal box.

A chicken leg at lunch, a chunk of meat at dinner.

Looking at the other kids' meal boxes, which had none of that.

This made it clear to Rokuro that Okamoto was truly paying attention to him.

In that case.

He had to perform well.

Since he had plenty of Experience Points saved up, he wasn't afraid of stamina consumption.

After dinner, he returned to the room. Watching the other children fall asleep, he stayed up doing push-ups until past midnight before finally resting.

6:00 AM.

Class 9's training began again.

Today, Rokuro's two quests were: 1,000 Pull-ups and Prank Masashi Asayama.

Pull-ups weren't part of the standard training regimen, so he had to find a chance to do them on his own. As for the quest to prank Masashi Asayama, it felt a bit strange to him.

Because the very first quest he failed to complete was also to prank Masashi Asayama.

He had had a brief encounter with this Masashi Asayama.

When Rokuro first arrived here, Asayama from Class 3 had come to their room and glared fiercely at all the children in Class 9, letting them know that he was the boss of this orphanage branch.

With Experience Points to restore his stamina.

Rokuro finished his training early.

But he didn't stop. Instead, he did double the training. This meant he had already started doing the same amount of training as the older children in other classes.

Meanwhile, the other kids in Class 9 were still only doing half the amount.

By the time he finished his double training, the other kids in Class 9 had just finished their standard set.

And the time.

Was exactly noon.

The children of Class 9 went to the cafeteria for lunch.

Aside from Rokuro, the other children were exhausted and sat down to rest.

Only Rokuro was still full of energy. He found a tree and began his Daily Training Quest.

1,000 Pull-ups.

With Experience Points constantly replenishing his stamina, he finished them all in an hour, earning another 500 EXP.

He kept these 500 points for emergencies and dumped all the remaining EXP from yesterday into his Taijutsu stat.

After finishing the training quest.

There was still an hour and a half before the afternoon training session.

He looked around the training grounds but didn't see Class 3, where Masashi Asayama belonged.

Yesterday.

He hadn't seen them either.

He had only seen the members of Class 3 during the morning assembly.

It seemed that the children from Class 1, Class 2, and Class 4—those aged 7 to 9—weren't training here either.

They must be older and assigned to other grounds for different training.

Perhaps practical combat sparring, or weapons training.

There were nine classes in the orphanage.

Classes 1 to 4: Children aged 7 to 10.

Classes 5 to 8: Children aged 5 to 7.

Class 9: Children aged 3 to 5.

As for children over ten, there didn't seem to be any here. The orphanage was entirely composed of children under ten. He didn't know if those over ten were sent away or sold off.

After letting his imagination run wild under the tree for a while, seeing that the afternoon training was about to start, Rokuro abandoned the Random Quest. Judging by yesterday's reward, the payout wasn't particularly high. It wasn't worth causing trouble for that little bit of experience right now.

Once his strength improved.

And Okamoto wouldn't trouble him over minor issues.

Then he could openly and boldly do those random quests.

Afternoon Training.

Rokuro did double the amount again.

After dinner, he returned to the dormitory and continued training until past midnight before resting.

After Midnight.

New quests refreshed.

The Training Quest was normal: 1,000 Squats.

The Random Quest, however, had issues again. It actually wanted him to Prank Masashi Asayama again.

This made him wonder if the System had some kind of grudge against this Masashi kid.

Training Quest: Do it.

Random Quest: Abandon it.

Now was the time to show his strength and curry favor; he should avoid trouble as much as possible.

For the next five full days.

Rokuro spent his time in bitter training.

He completed his daily training quests on time.

But the Random Quest every single day was to prank Masashi Asayama. This gave him a huge headache.

Even if he wanted to do it.

He had to find the guy first!

He only saw Asayama for a fleeting moment every morning, and then the guy would vanish, not reappearing until the next morning.

He couldn't just sneak out to find him.

If he did that, it would be strange if he didn't get killed.

This was the Naruto world; a few dead kids meant nothing.

So, for that Random Quest, he could only adopt an "out of sight, out of mind" attitude and pretend it didn't exist.

On the night of the seventh day, just after midnight.

Rokuro had just finished training and was about to go to bed when Okamoto suddenly pushed the door open, walked in, and beckoned to him. "Rokuro, come out for a moment!"

Hearing this.

Rokuro hurried to the door and bowed to Okamoto. "Instructor, is something the matter?"

Okamoto looked at Rokuro and smiled. "Follow me first!"

Rokuro nodded and followed Okamoto all the way to a place far from the training grounds. Here, there was a row of small wooden cabins. Okamoto opened one of them and said to Rokuro, "Come in. Let's talk inside!"

Rokuro obediently followed him in.

Inside the cabin.

It was brightly lit with electric lights.

This was a training room.

There were various kinds of training equipment, and in the corner, there was a separate small bedroom.

Seeing this situation.

Rokuro felt a slight joy in his heart.

It seems!

Okamoto has confirmed my talent for Taijutsu and is preparing to groom me.

Seeing Rokuro smile with joy, Okamoto patted his shoulder and said, "I've been watching your training during this period. Staying in Class 9 is useless for you. This will be your room from now on. You can train properly here. In that corner room, there is a textbook on Taijutsu training. You can follow the instructions in it. However, you still have to participate in the daily basic training!"

Rokuro was very excited and bowed to Okamoto. "Thank you very much, Lord Okamoto."

Okamoto smiled. "This is what you deserve. Every genius who trains hard gets this treatment. In the rooms next to yours, there are two other geniuses just like you!"

Two other geniuses like me!

Who are they?

Could they be famous ninjas from the future?

I'm really quite curious!
