Keifer's Pov
I heard her voice but she wasn't saying my name, "Mr Watson, Mr Watson" I woke up from my sleep, the first thing I saw was her face, I was happy and the same time a little sad because she is calling me, Mr Watson, I couldn't pin what was I feeling.
I freshened up and got ready, when I asked her if we could leave together, she said she will come in the company car, I know she still doesn't want to see me but, it hurts every time I am reminded of it, I tried convincing her, but she didn't bulge. I accepted her decision because at least I got to spend these many hours with her, I will cherish them.
Then we left her apartment, I left first because, I cannot let anyone see me coming from her house, especially since I am her boss, We know how will that end, I started my car and went to my house to take a shower and for change of clothes. Then I reached my office and went to the cabin, I looked over her from my cabin, I saw her working seriously, a smile formed on my face, then I continued with my work.
After a while David came in with a serious face,
David: "Where were you last night? Did you drink again?"
I looked at him with an are you serious expression,
Keifer: "Did you really think that I would drive off in the heavy rain drinking?"
David :" You are capable of that"
I gave him I am guilty expression, because there might few incidences
Keifer: "No, I did not"
David :"Then where were you I know you weren't in the office"
Keifer: "Wow, you are such a stalker"
he gave me a serious expression, so I stopped playing and answered him,
Keifer: "Okay, fine I was in Jay's apartment"
He got really excited when I said, he took his seat across me,
David :"Wow, did you guys make up already? I knew you both couldn't stay away from each other"
Keifer: "I wish, she just let me stay there because the place was flooded and I did not have a way out, also said a hundred time that she would have done for anyone else" I said with a sad face.
David : "At least she is kind enough to let you stay, if I was her in her shoes, I would have probably kicked you out"
I gave him a look,
Keifer: "I can understand her but at the same time it hurts, you know seeing her run away from me, Maybe Karma is getting back at me for avoiding her during Uni"
David : "I agree poor girl used to be behind you all the time"
I gave him glare,
David : "But seriously, Don't rush it at the same time don't hold back too much, If you know what I mean"
I nodded, and after that he started talking about our company's new projects and we went to attend a meeting.
Jay's Pov
I reached my office and came settled and started working on my project, Sara was in the next cabin, We were working and finally it was time for break, both of us settled in the cafeteria, with our food
Jay: "I have to tell you something"
Sara: "what is it?"
I told her everything about Keifer's stay in my apartment except for the kiss part
She was stunned when I said all those things,
Sara: "Wow, That ah- I don't even know what to say, Are you okay?"
I nodded,
Jay: "I am fine but I think I should stay away from him, I cannot afford to get hurt again."
When I said that, Sara gave me a reassuring hug and patted me and I smiled.
After that we went back to work, Today also I stayed back to do my work, I stretched my hands due to the continuous work, I stoped after a while and decide to go the rooftop, to get some fresh air, Plus no one was in the office, so it was perfect.
I moved my way to the rooftop, It was really nice, If I could I would stay here all day and do my work, but I couldn't.
I stayed and looked at the view from the top it was fantastic and it brought me a sense of peace and calm.
I was enjoying the view when I felt someone's presence near me so I opened my eyes to see who it was,
It was Ryan, the associate consultant who have had lunch with us, and the outing that we planned was also canceled by me.
He looked me and gave me smile and I returned it, but to be honest I just wanted to be alone
Ryan: "You stayed back?"
Jay: "Yeah, I had some work to do"
Ryan: "That's nice"
I just nodded,
Ryan: "Would like a drink?"
Jay: "No, Thanks" I said and turned to leave because I was feeling weird with him,
But he held my hand,
Ryan: "Come in Ash, chill it is just us" he said in a drunked voice
Jay: "Please leave my hand" I said trying to remove his hand.
He moved closer to me and I tried pushing him away but his hold was strong and he was looking at me with a creepy smile.
