Keifer's Pov
We pulled away from the hug and got into the car, I insisted on driving, both of us settled in,
I know she was exhausted both mentally and physically, so the drive was silent but I know she needed me too,
I held one of her while keeping the other on the steering wheel, she smiled at me when I did that and so did I.
I took her to the apartment instead of our home because she does not have any stuff there and still it will take time for her to move and I don't want her to rush, I want her to do it in her pace.
I realised she have slept in the car itself, so I did not wake her up I carried her instead to the apartment, I made her lie on the bed and decided to make dinner and then wake her up,
I made her lie but she clutched my hand in sleep and did not leave me, I tried removing my hand but her grip became tighter and she started mumbling in her sleep,
Jay: "Stay Keifer"
I smiled when she said that and I bent down and kissed her forehead,
Keifer: "I am not going anywhere Jay"
I said and instantly she relaxed and her hands became a little loose, and Then I removed my hand and went to cook dinner for us.
I made a simple dinner for us, after making it I went and woke her up gently,
Keifer: "Jay, have dinner and sleep"
I made her sit and brought the dinner for us and started feeding her,
Jay: "You?"
I smiled and ate and also fed her in silence, she may not say this out loud but I know it all heavy feelings for her right now, and after eating,
Keifer: "Okay, I'll keep this and come, you lie down" I said and went out and came back to see her sitting on the bed and as soon as I came she opened her arms wide for me,
I smiled and went into bed to her and pulled her into my arms and held her tightly and kissed her forehead,
Keifer: "I Love you" I whispered
And she looked at me,
And kissed my cheeks and did not say anything,
And I rocked her gently,
Jay: "Why are you rocking me like a baby?"
Keifer: "Cause you are one"
She gave a look again, and rolled her eyes I couldn't help but laugh.
Then I slowly saw her drifting to sleep again, and soon she slept while having her head on my chest, I slowly tucked her hair behind her ears and looked at her,
I started to cry after seeing her sleep, I can see that she is safe and feeling at peace, but her face when she said all those things came back to me,
I hated every minute of how she must have felt going through everything alone in a new city, while thinking I betrayed her and even then she needed me in that situation and I wasn't there for her.
I decided to find that monster wherever he is and make sure that gets what he deserve for making her suffer like this.
I wiped my tears and kissed her forehead again, I want her to feel safe again and I am not going to leave her this time no matter what happens.
Then I remembered something she said, that she did not want any secrets between us but I haven't said anything to her about my insomnia or panic attack and honestly I don't want to, because for a fact I know if she gets know about these things I know for sure she might feel bad and suffer and also maybe blame herself.
I slowly caressed her hair,
Keifer(in his mind) : "I am sorry Jay for not telling you the truth, I am sorry for keeping this secrets between us, I think it is for the better if you don't know about all these things that makes you worry. But I'll make sure I'll take care of myself on cure all this before even you know about this, because I want a happy and healthy future for the both of us."
I decided to meet the doctor make sure to do everything in my strength to make myself better. I have to talk David about this.
I tried to sleep but I wasn't able but I did sleep early than usually the time I used to sleep and maybe it's because i was getting better, maybe because of her.
I slept with her warmth.
In the morning, I heard sound of thing moving and I slowly opened my eye to see Jay, Moving around things and I sat up in the bed,
Jay: "Ohhh, Did I wake you up?" She asked facing me,
Keifer: "What are you doing?"
She smirked before answering,
Jay: "Don't you want to live together?"
