Chapter 32 – From the Cold of the Snow to the Heat of Coachella
April 2015 – A Break from Filming
Filming The Revenant was brutally intense.
Jacob Stewart had already spent weeks enduring freezing temperatures, filming scenes in the middle of snow-covered forests, crossing icy rivers, and facing extreme physical challenges. Director Alejandro González Iñárritu demanded maximum realism, filming only with natural light, which meant that shooting lasted for long hours in hostile conditions.
Jacob loved the challenge, but when the opportunity for a short break arose, he didn't think twice.
And what better place to relax and have fun than Coachella?
The warm California desert sun shone on the huge music and arts festival. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival was one of the most anticipated events of the year, bringing together celebrities, influencers, musicians, and fans from all over the world. Jacob arrived at the festival sporting a casual yet stylish look—a tight black t-shirt, a worn brown leather jacket, and sunglasses. His hair was longer and his beard had grown out due to his role in The Revenant, which only enhanced his intimidating and magnetic presence.
As soon as he entered the VIP area of the event, all eyes immediately turned to him.
"Oh my God, it's Jacob Stewart!"
"He's even more handsome in person."
"This guy went from homeless to Hollywood star and now he's at Coachella. What a life!"
Jacob walked through the festival, enjoying the vibrant energy and the background music. He had already met some friends and taken some photos with fans when he was approached by two very well-known young models.
Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin.
Both were wearing typical festival attire—short shorts, stylish tops, and mirrored sunglasses—and sported charming smiles.
"Jacob Stewart at Coachella? I never imagined seeing you here!" "— said Kendall, smiling.
— You look more like a guy who climbs mountains and hunts bears than someone who enjoys music festivals," Hailey joked, laughing.
Jacob laughed.
— Well, I was actually in the snow until a few days ago, but I think everyone needs a little fun, right?
The two moved a little closer, clearly flirting.
— We've always wanted to meet you in person," Kendall said, biting her lip slightly.
— And I think we could show you a more fun side of life," Hailey added, winking.
Jacob immediately caught on to their game. He knew when someone was flirting with him.
But, despite their obvious beauty, he felt they were too young for him.
He smiled politely and replied:
— You two are amazing, but I think I'll leave that experience for another day.
Kendall and Hailey exchanged surprised glances, but then laughed.
— Well… Who knows what the future holds? — Kendall said, winking.
Jacob laughed.
— Who knows?
He said goodbye to the two of them and continued through the festival, unaware that the night still held something much bigger for him.
It was already night when Jacob went to the VIP area of the main tent, where one of the most anticipated performances of the festival was taking place.
While waiting for the show to begin, he felt a powerful presence beside him.
When he turned, his eyes met Beyoncé.
She was wearing a tight black jumpsuit, sunglasses, and a mysterious smile on her lips.
Jacob was momentarily surprised.
— Beyoncé…?
She slowly took off her sunglasses and smiled.
— Jacob Stewart… I was expecting to meet you.
Jacob raised an eyebrow.
— Really? I thought I was the one who should say that.
She laughed softly, taking a glass of champagne from a passing waiter's tray.
"You're the hottest name in Hollywood right now. An actor who not only does action movies, but really knows how to fight, shoot, and is now starring in a serious drama. People like you are rare."
Jacob took a sip of his drink.
"And I could say the same about you. You're not just a singer… You're a force of nature."
Beyoncé tilted her head slightly, analyzing him with those sharp eyes.
"So we're admiring each other?"
Jacob smiled.
"It seems so."
They stood there, talking for a few more minutes, until the music started.
Beyoncé approached him and said, almost whispering:
"I want to dance. Come with me."
Jacob followed Beyoncé to the dance floor, where the captivating rhythm took over them.
The two moved together, their bodies close, the energy between them intense and electrifying.
In the midst of the crowd, in the heat of the festival, they lost themselves in the moment.
And that night, Jacob realized something important:
He wasn't just a rising star.
He was at the peak of his life.
And the whole world was watching.
Chapter 33 – Back to the Cold, Then to the Red Carpet
After Coachella, Jacob Stewart felt the thermal shock upon returning to the filming of The Revenant.
From the heat of the California desert to the freezing cold of Canada, where filming took place, the difference was brutal.
Director Alejandro González Iñárritu was a perfectionist and insisted on filming only with natural light, which meant that each scene took hours to shoot.
Jacob was covered in mud, stage blood, and wearing heavy furs as he crawled across the icy ground, completely immersed in the role of Hugh Glass.
During a break, he sat on a fallen tree trunk, trying to catch his breath, when he heard Alejandro's voice.
"Jacob, that scene was perfect. You really look like a man who was thrown into hell and survived."
Jacob smiled, still panting.
"Well, considering I'm actually freezing, I think the method is working."
Alejandro laughed and patted him on the shoulder.
"Pain is part of the art. But don't worry… In May, you'll have a break for the Met Gala and Cannes. Enjoy it while you can, because when you come back, we'll push you to the limit."
Jacob nodded. He loved the challenge, but he knew he needed that break before returning to the wildness.
And so, in May, he traded the dirty furs and extreme cold for the glitz and glamour of the Met Gala and the Cannes Film Festival.
The Met Gala was one of the most exclusive events in the fashion world. Held annually at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the gala brought together the biggest celebrities on the planet in spectacular outfits.
Jacob arrived at the event wearing a custom-made Giorgio Armani tuxedo, a sophisticated black suit with subtle gold details, matching the theme of the evening.
As soon as he stepped out of the limousine, the flashes started going off.
Journalists, fans, and fashion critics were obsessed with him.
"Jacob Stewart! You look like a true king of the red carpet!"
"You may be the new action icon, but today you're a perfect gentleman!"
Jacob smiled for the cameras, posed for photos, and continued down the red carpet, greeting celebrities like Rihanna, Leonardo DiCaprio, Zendaya, and Jared Leto.
But one presence in particular caught his attention.
Kim Kardashian.
She looked stunning in a tight, shimmering dress, highlighting her iconic curves. As soon as she saw him, her eyes lit up.
Kim approached with a teasing smile.
"If it isn't the most talked-about man in Hollywood…"
Jacob smiled.
"And if it isn't the most photographed woman on the planet."
She laughed and placed a hand on his shoulder.
— I don't think we ever had a chance to really get to know each other.
— I think we should fix that tonight.
The two talked for a while, exchanged intense glances, and the connection was immediate.
After the gala, they both attended a private party at a luxurious New York hotel, where the night took a more intimate turn.
A few days later, Jacob was in France, at the legendary Cannes Film Festival.
This time, he was there not just as a luxury guest, but as a star being observed by the elite of world cinema.
On the festival's red carpet, he wore a tailored navy blue tuxedo, a classic and sophisticated choice.
Directors, producers, and film critics scrutinized him attentively.
He wasn't just an action actor. He was now establishing himself as one of the most promising names in the film industry.
During a private event, he had the opportunity to talk to Quentin Tarantino, who approached him with an intrigued smile.
"So, Stewart… Are you ready to become one of the greats?"
Jacob smiled and raised a glass of wine.
"I've already started down this path. Now I just need to get to the end."
Tarantino laughed and took a sip of his own wine.
"If you keep that fire going, Hollywood will be yours."
Jacob knew that night was more than a celebration.
It was a milestone.
He was at the center of the film industry.
And the whole world was watching.
