Chapter 35 - Chapter 66-67

Chapter 66 – The Impact of the Vogue Cover

The clock struck 6 a.m., and Jacob Stewart was still fast asleep in his Los Angeles mansion when his cell phone began vibrating incessantly.

Messages. Calls. Notifications exploding across all his social media platforms.

His agent, Richard Calloway, had already called three times.

Jacob opened his eyes, still half asleep, and picked up the phone.

"Hello..." he murmured.

Richard's voice came from the other end of the line, excited and hurried.

"JACOB, WAKE UP! YOU'RE DOMINATING THE INTERNET!"

Jacob rubbed his face, confused.

"What?"

Richard took a deep breath.

"Vogue just officially released its cover… And, my friend, EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT IT."

Jacob sat up in bed, now fully awake.

He opened Instagram and there it was.

The Vogue cover with him wearing a Giorgio Armani tuxedo, his intense gaze fixed on the camera, with the iconic headline:

"Jacob Stewart – The Man Everyone Wants to Be."

The numbers were absurd.

Millions of likes in just a few hours.

The comments? A mixture of admiration, surprise, and endless praise.

Jacob chuckled softly and murmured to himself:

"Well… I guess we made history."

And he had no idea how much.

The impact was immediate.

The biggest news outlets began covering the Vogue cover as if it were a historic event.

New York Times – "Jacob Stewart: The New Definition of Modern Masculinity"

"Jacob Stewart was already a Hollywood star, but now he's become something bigger. His Vogue cover isn't just a well-taken photo; it's a statement. He represents a new era of men who combine strength, style, and authenticity."

"Stewart isn't just an actor who wears a suit well. He practices Jiu-Jitsu, is a sniper in the USPSA, trains like a true warrior, and still maintains a rare humility in Hollywood. The public doesn't see him as an unattainable celebrity; he's a real example of what it means to be a modern man."

GQ Magazine – "Jacob Stewart is the Most Stylish Man Today"

"The Vogue issue featuring Jacob Stewart has already broken sales records, and it's not hard to see why. He not only wears a Giorgio Armani suit with mastery, but conveys a presence of masculinity that Hollywood hasn't seen in a long time."

"While many celebrities focus solely on fame, Stewart chose a different path: he became a legend in diverse areas from film to shooting sports, from martial arts to style. He is a man who lives what he preaches."

Esquire – "Jacob Stewart: The New Icon of Action and Elegance"

"Hollywood has had many action stars, but Jacob Stewart is redefining the game. His Vogue cover proves that he's not just a warrior on screen, he also dominates the world of fashion and sophistication."

"If there was any doubt about his meteoric rise, this cover eliminated it. Stewart is not just an actor. He is a phenomenon."

The internet exploded with memes, praise, and debates about Jacob Stewart.

On Twitter:

"Jacob Stewart is not an actor, he is a fictional character who came to life and now dominates the world."

"This guy trains shooting, fights Jiu-Jitsu, makes INSANE action movies, and now he dominates men's fashion? That's not fair."

"Men, take note: Jacob Stewart is the standard now."

On Instagram:

"This Vogue cover is the best I've ever seen. Jacob Stewart exudes confidence without trying."

"I've never bought a Vogue magazine in my life, but I think I'll start now."

On Reddit:

"Jacob Stewart should be studied. How can someone be so talented in SO MANY AREAS?!"

"This guy is the real-life John Wick. Except, besides shooting, he could also beat you in a fight and still humiliate you with elegance."

Jacob scrolled through his Twitter feed and laughed at some of the memes about him.

It was surreal.

He hadn't expected the reception to be so insane.

While reading the comments, his phone rang again.

This time, it was Anna Wintour.

He answered immediately.

"Jacob." Her voice was calm, but full of satisfaction.

"Anna. I think we made quite an impact, huh?"

Anna chuckled softly.

"You have no idea. Your Vogue issue has become the best-selling in the last five years. Physical copies are sold out in several cities, and digital subscriptions have skyrocketed."

Jacob raised an eyebrow, surprised.

"Is that really true?"

Anna confirmed.

"Yes. And what's more: the magazine's sponsors are celebrating the increased engagement. Giorgio Armani is already in contact to expand his partnership with you."

Jacob ran his hand over his chin.

"Well… This went further than I imagined."

Anna adjusted her glasses and concluded:

"Welcome to the world of high fashion, Jacob. You're no longer just a movie star. You're an icon."

Jacob hung up and let out a long sigh.

He already knew that his life would never be the same again.

And honestly?

He was ready for it.

Chapter 67 – An Unexpected Stroll with the Fans

The mat was damp with sweat, and the sound of bodies colliding echoed through the dojo. Jacob gasped, his hands on his knees as he caught his breath. His white kimono, now slightly crumpled and marked from intense training, reflected the dedication he was putting into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

His training partner, a brown belt named Diego, smiled at Jacob's expression.

"Man, you're picking it up fast," Diego commented, pulling on the knot of his own belt.

Jacob gave a tired smile, running a hand through his sweat-dampened hair.

"Well, I can't disappoint the real-life John Wick, can I?"

They both laughed as their instructor, an experienced black belt named Master Ricardo, approached.

"Jacob, you're progressing very well. You're applying the concepts correctly. Your base game is solid, and your defense is already much better than when you started." Jacob raised an eyebrow.

"Was that a compliment, Master?"

Master Ricardo crossed his arms, maintaining a serious expression, but with a playful glint in his eye.

"It was a 'not bad.' I'll save the compliment for when you finish off someone decent."

Jacob laughed loudly as Diego patted him on the shoulder.

"We'll see when that happens, huh?"

The training session ended, and Jacob said goodbye to his colleagues, grabbing his backpack and leaving through the gym door.

The Los Angeles sun was still strong, even though it was late afternoon. The cool breeze compensated for the heat, and Jacob decided to walk home.

He liked this feeling of normalcy. Just being a guy walking down the street, without security guards, without paparazzi suffocating his freedom.

But, of course, this peace never lasted long.

About two blocks later, a group of three young men recognized him.

"Hey!" "ARE YOU JACOB STEWART?!" shouted one of them, a boy with a backwards baseball cap and a cell phone in his hand.

Jacob stopped, put his hands in his pockets, and smiled.

"Depends… If it's an ex-boyfriend looking for revenge, then it's not me."

The young men laughed, clearly excited.

"Dude, that's crazy! We follow you everywhere! Are you really training Jiu-Jitsu?"

Jacob pointed to his backpack.

"I just got out of training. I'm all sweaty, you guys don't want to get too close."

One of the boys, named Lucas, held up his cell phone.

"Can I record? Like, as if it were an interview?"

Jacob shrugged, amused.

"Go ahead. But if I say anything stupid, cut that part out, okay?"

Lucas started recording, walking alongside Jacob while the group followed.

"Hey, guys!" I'm here with none other than JACOB STEWART, the real-life John Wick! Man, it's surreal to find you here like this, randomly. Do you really walk the streets without bodyguards?

Jacob looked at the camera and smiled.

"Well, I'm not the president of the USA, am I? I don't need a squad behind me. And besides, if anyone tries anything, I know Jiu-Jitsu now."

The group laughed, clearly enjoying the interaction.

Lucas continued:

"So, tell us… How's this Jiu-Jitsu thing going? Are you enjoying it?"

Jacob nodded, thoughtfully.

"Very much so. It's different from any other training I've ever done. You have to think all the time, otherwise it's over. I went in thinking my action experience would give me an advantage, but I was late on the first day."

"Seriously?!"

"Seriously. A 16-year-old kid submitted me in less than two minutes." Humiliating.

The group burst into laughter.

"And what did you do after that?"

Jacob sighed dramatically.

"I went home, looked at the ceiling, and rethought my life choices."

More laughter. The energy between them was natural, as if they were just friends chatting.

As they walked, other people began to recognize Jacob. Some filmed from afar, others approached shyly.

A girl, probably in her 20s, approached hesitantly.

"Jacob… Can I take a picture with you?"

Jacob smiled warmly.

"Sure, come here."

The girl held her phone, but she was so nervous that her hands trembled. Jacob gently took the phone.

"Relax, I'll take it for you."

She laughed nervously, and he took a perfect selfie.

Lucas was still recording and commented:

"Dude, this is so surreal. Like, you look so… normal." Jacob raised an eyebrow.

"And what am I supposed to look like? An alien?"

"No, but like… You won an Oscar! You're an action star! And now you're here walking with us like you're just anyone!"

Jacob paused for a moment, crossing his arms.

"And what's wrong with that? I'm a normal guy. I eat pizza while watching Netflix. I wake up late sometimes. The only difference is that my job involves explosions and choreographed fights."

The group laughed, but seemed to absorb his words.

It was rare to see a famous actor so approachable.

After about 20 minutes of walking, Jacob said goodbye to the fans and continued on his way home.

But the video that Lucas recorded quickly went viral.

On TikTok, the caption read:

"Jacob Stewart is the most down-to-earth person in Hollywood. He stopped and walked with us for 20 minutes like we were old friends. This guy is different."

The comments exploded:

"Hollywood needs more actors like this."

"He's literally the real-life John Wick, only humble."

"The guy already dominated cinema, now he's dominating Jiu-Jitsu and he's still the nicest guy in the industry. How is that possible?"

The video also appeared on Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube gossip channels.

The media didn't waste any time reporting on it.

TMZ – "Jacob Stewart: The Nicest Hollywood Star Today?"

"If you thought Jacob Stewart was just another unapproachable star, think again. The Oscar-winning actor was spotted in Los Angeles strolling casually after his Jiu-Jitsu training. The most surprising thing? He stopped to chat with fans, answered questions, and even walked with them, as if he were just another face in the crowd."

"Stewart proves that, even at the height of fame, he still keeps his feet on the ground."

Entertainment Weekly – "Jacob Stewart and His Incredible Connection with Fans"

"It's not every day you see a Hollywood star acting so naturally with the public. Jacob Stewart has proven that he is not only one of the best actors of his generation, but also one of the most approachable and authentic."

"Fans call him 'the real-life John Wick,' and maybe they're right. After all, how many action actors train in target shooting, practice Jiu-Jitsu, and are still incredibly humble?"

Upon arriving home, Jacob picked up his phone and saw the video already with millions of views. He laughed and decided to comment on Lucas's post:

"Thanks, man! Let's hang out again sometime. But next time, bring some snacks."

The comment exploded with likes.

Lucas replied:

"Deal! But only if you pay."

Jacob smiled.

Yes. He could be a movie star.

But, at the end of the day?

He just wanted to live normally.
