Chapter 11

The Appearance of Hawk Eye

Arthur returned to the table and sat down in complete calm, as though what had happened moments ago had been nothing more than a passing matter. Everyone continued eating in heavy silence, broken only by the sound of utensils. Only Usopp looked unsettled; he was still not accustomed to Arthur's harshness and the sharpness of his actions when one of his comrades was touched.

As for Nami and Zoro, they were completely used to Arthur's temperament and behavior.

Zoro, perhaps, was the only one who had been entirely at peace with Arthur's bloodiness from the very beginning.

He himself was a bloody man, having killed many pirates in the past before joining the crew. He used to kill pirates and hand them over to the Marines in exchange for money.

Nami, at first, had not been accustomed to everything. But little by little, it became somewhat normal to her.

Of course, she was still disturbed by the sight of blood and brutal savagery. But she had grown slightly used to it, because that brutality was directed toward enemies.

Now Nami smiled, then said with a tone of gratitude:

"Arthur, thank—"

But Arthur interrupted her before she could finish, without raising his voice:

"You are an important member of the crew, my comrade and my friend. How could I stand silent when something like that happens? There's no need to thank me, Nami."

Nami's smile widened with genuine happiness, then she returned to her meal.

Only seconds passed before screams echoed throughout the restaurant, and customers fled in terror. Within moments, the place was completely empty, leaving only Arthur and his companions, Sanji, and a few hesitant staff members.

Sanji stepped toward Arthur with angry strides and shouted with contempt:

"You bastard! How dare you kill innocent Marine soldiers?!"

Arthur raised his gaze toward him coldly. He had already formed a complete image of Sanji's personality and nature.

Because of his life and the countless hardships he had endured, Arthur had developed a sharp instinct—he could understand a person, diagnose them, and know almost everything about them simply by looking at them and observing their subtle behavior.

Then he said, continuing to eat:

"And why should I explain my actions to a perverted scoundrel like you? Leave at once."

Sanji's anger flared at this simple yet cutting reply.

"What do you mean by perverted?! I'm a man who loves women and respects them all!"

Arthur smiled coldly, then lifted his head and looked at him with pure disdain.

"Love women? If you didn't work here, I would have killed you the moment you approached Nami. I saw your looks toward her clearly, so don't think I didn't notice. You claim to love and respect women, but in truth you're just a pervert.

You're driven by lust, not reason. A dog chasing women everywhere, pretending to be respectful, while weak-willed, weak-minded, weak in character. You don't know the difference between respecting women and worshiping them."

Silence fell for a moment as Arthur's words dripped with contempt. It was clear that Arthur despised men who treated women as tools to satisfy their desires; to him, respect was one thing, and perversion another entirely—an unforgivable one.

Sanji lost his temper and grabbed Arthur by the collar, intending to fight.

At that moment, the sound of a sword being drawn from its sheath was heard.

"Zoro, don't interfere. Let me handle this, please."

Arthur said it in complete calm. Zoro smiled and returned his sword to its sheath.

Arthur freed himself from Sanji's grip and said:

"You don't want to admit you're a pervert? Fine. Let me prove it. I'll show you that you run after what's between your legs, not your mind."

He approached Nami and whispered a few words into her ear. Her expression shifted from a smile to clear disgust.

"Are you sure, Arthur?" she asked hesitantly.

"Just an experiment. I won't let anything bad happen to you, I promise."

Nami sighed, then stood before Sanji. Arthur sat calmly, watching.

Sanji's anger vanished instantly, his gaze focusing solely on Nami. Nami smiled gently, leaned slightly closer, then approached his ear, blowing warm air and whispering a few words.

In the next moment, Sanji's nose burst into a nosebleed, his face turning red as he cried out in ecstasy:

"Of course I'll be your slave, Nami-sama!"

Nami returned to her seat with annoyance, while Arthur began clapping slowly.

"Didn't I tell you? A damned pervert who doesn't know the difference between respect and worship. A real man? No. Just a slave to his lust."

As Arthur finished speaking, Sanji's anger surged absolutely, and he was about to move—this time truly intending to fight Arthur—

But at that moment, the restaurant door burst open.

Three men entered, pale-faced and exhausted from hunger and fatigue. One of them was massive in build, leaning on two companions.

One stepped forward and bowed before Sanji, tears in his eyes.

"Please, feed this man… he's on the verge of death. We don't want food for ourselves."

Sanji sighed, but Arthur's voice came calmly:

"Don't. That man is the pirate Don Krieg."

Sanji did not even look at Arthur. He moved and disappeared into the kitchen.

Minutes later, he returned with three plates of food and placed them quietly on the floor.

At the sight of the hot, appetizing dishes, Don Krieg moved quickly, as if his strength had returned merely from seeing the food. He devoured the first plate, then the second ravenously, until some of his strength returned.

One plate remained on the ground. Gin picked it up and offered it to Noryan. Noryan looked at it for a moment, then shook his head calmly and returned it to him, as though refusing to eat before him. But the moment did not complete itself, for Sanji quickly returned carrying another plate and placed it before them without a word.

The two ate with clear gratitude, strength gradually returning to their bodies. After finishing, both Gin and Noryan bowed respectfully, sincerely thanking Sanji, while Don Krieg stood at the restaurant entrance, silent, watching the scene with cold eyes.

Then he spoke.

His voice was hoarse and decisive, carrying no gratitude.

"Our ship is destroyed and no longer seaworthy, and we have no other vessel."

He stepped forward, a haughty smile forming on his face.

"Therefore, I, Don Krieg, declare that I have seized this floating restaurant."

Silence fell for a moment, as though the air itself had frozen. Gin and Noryan tried to object, opening their mouths to speak—

But they did not get even a single chance. A thunderous punch from Don Krieg struck them both, knocking them violently to the ground.

They did not resist. They rose with difficulty and stood at his side, declaring their loyalty despite everything.

Before matters could escalate further, one of the cooks emerged from inside, carrying a strangely shaped cannon. He raised it without hesitation, aimed it at Don Krieg, and fired.

The cannonball shot forward with immense force, striking Don Krieg directly and sending him out of the restaurant. His subordinates followed, worried.

But just before the full impact—before the projectile could truly strike him—Don Krieg raised a golden shield. The cannonball collided with the shield and had no effect, the sound echoing throughout the area.

At that moment, Luffy emerged from the kitchen wearing a cook's uniform. He exchanged quick words with his companions, then Don Krieg's furious voice rang out:

"How dare you, you bastard?! I am Don Krieg! The future King of the Pirates! How dare you fire at me?!"

Hearing the words, Luffy stepped forward and stood at the entrance, a confident smile on his face.

"Oi… I'm the one who's going to become King of the Pirates."

He said it with absolute pride, as though it were an undeniable truth.

Everyone looked at Luffy with strangeness and mockery. Don Krieg laughed loudly and arrogantly—then his voice abruptly cut off.

A terrifying sound echoed from behind.

Everyone turned at once.

The second Marine ship—the empty one—had been split perfectly in half. A clean cut, without cracks, without resistance, as though an invisible blade had passed through it.

Between the two halves, a small boat appeared, barely large enough for one person. On its sides burned two candles with a faint green glow.

And there was a man seated upon it.

Arthur, Zoro, and the rest of the crew stepped out of the restaurant. But Arthur froze in place.

For the first time in his life, his body shuddered violently. His breathing quickened, and sweat began to bead on his forehead involuntarily. The aura of death surrounding that man was suffocating, heavy, unbearable.

'Who is this?… This power… it's impossible.'

Arthur activated the Eye of the Sky without hesitation.

| Name: Mihawk

Level: ?????? |

Arthur's eyes widened.

'Damn… why isn't it working?'

| Warning: Host, this person surpasses your current level to such an extent that you cannot perceive his power.

Any direct confrontation will result in your certain death. |

A chill ran down Arthur's spine.

Just how powerful must he be… for the Eye of the Sky to fail to read him?

At that moment, Don Krieg shouted hysterically in rage:

"Mihawk! What do you want?! You destroyed my fleet and drove me into the Marines! Why do you keep chasing me?!"

The man slowly raised his head.

Calm yellow eyes appeared… cold… devoid of emotion.

"To pass the time."

Mihawk said it in complete calm.

But the pressure emanating from him made everyone's breathing heavy, as though even the sea had bowed before him.

Among them, there was one person trembling… not from fear, but from exhilaration.

It was Zoro.

His body shook violently, and a wide, sincere smile spread across his face.

"Mihawk… the strongest swordsman in the world. Hawk Eye Mihawk."

He stepped forward.

"I've been looking for you for a long time… and now I've finally found you."

Zoro stood upon the restaurant's extended platforms that had emerged after the cannon was fired, prepared for battle outside.

Mihawk rose calmly and stepped onto the same platform.

He glanced at Zoro briefly.

"Who are you, weakling?"

His voice was calm, devoid of interest.

Zoro smiled, tied the green bandana around his head, gripped two swords, and placed the third between his teeth.

"I'm just a man… who set you as the goal of his path. And now you stand before me. Fight me."

Mihawk sighed in mild boredom, then reached toward the pendant hanging around his neck.

It was shaped like a cross.

He opened it and drew out a small blade, no longer than a finger.

"Very well. I apologize in advance… I couldn't find a smaller sword to fight you."

He said it with a calm smile.

Zoro remained steady and focused, without anger or humiliation. He knew… that the man before him, even if he held a straw, it would be a deadly one.

Mihawk's expression shifted slightly, a faint smile of admiration forming.

Below, Luffy, Arthur, and Usopp watched in silence, as did Sanji, Don Krieg, and his men.

Nami had disappeared, and Yosaku and Johnny remained on the ship to guard it.

And in a single instant—

Zoro struck the ground forcefully and launched himself at unbelievable speed toward Hawk Eye Mihawk.
