Chapter 201 - 199

Chapter 199

A New Dungeon

Son Ju Woo let out a quiet sigh, the traces of everything he had recently gone through reflected in his eyes.

His mind was burdened by the mistakes he had made and the price he had paid because of his previous recklessness.

'Alright... alright...

I'll do it again.'

A faint smile appeared on his lips as he slowly raised his hand.

In the next moment, a dense dark aura began to swirl around his palm with an eerie calmness, as though darkness itself was responding to his call.

The aura suddenly shot toward one of the corpses lying before him.

The body trembled slightly...

Then, little by little, the clothes disappeared, followed by the flesh, then the skin, until nothing remained except silent white bones.

One after another...

Son Ju Woo managed to summon four skeletons.

Without hesitation, he took out his spatial cloak and sent the four skeletons inside.

Afterward, he looked silently at the remaining corpses.

He knew very well that he could not absorb power from them, as they had been dead for far too long.

"Astaroth."

With that single word, Astaroth emerged from storage for the first time since the transfer.

His body was weak, unusually quiet, and his eyes were dull, almost devoid of their usual vitality.

Son Ju Woo approached him and gently held him.

"I'm sorry, kid..."

he said in a low, sorrowful voice.

"I caused you a lot of trouble this time."

A gentle, innocent smile appeared on Astaroth's small face, as though he did not care about what had happened, or perhaps was incapable of understanding it in the first place.

Son Ju Woo smiled with slight relief, then turned him toward one of the corpses.

"You can eat all of them."

Astaroth quietly moved toward the corpses and began his work in silence.

Meanwhile, Arthur smiled with difficulty. He still felt an unbelievable pain.

It was not physical pain, but the pain in his heart, because he had nearly caused everyone's death due to his anger.

"Wrath."

A crimson thread moved out from Son Ju Woo's body, then materialized into a small humanoid form, the size of an infant, with a calm smile on its face.

"Are you alright, kid?"

Wrath smiled and began rubbing his head beneath Son Ju Woo's hand like a child seeking reassurance.

Son Ju Woo quietly began gathering magical energy within his body, then gradually transferred it to Wrath sitting before him.

He was preparing...

For what was to come.

And he inspected everything carefully, as though any new mistake could prove fatal.

---

Three more days later...

Both Astaroth and Wrath regained some of their vitality and became slightly stronger than before.

Throughout those three days, Son Ju Woo never stopped training and exercising, without rest and without leniency.

At one point, he stood looking at the vast emptiness surrounding his house.

"Now... what should I do?"

he said quietly.

"In Kim Dokja's world, the world was falling apart, and survival meant clearing the scenarios."

"And in Zhao Fan's world, my mission was to bring the Luo Family to the top."

He sighed deeply.

"But now..."

"There is no main mission, no ruined world, nothing."

The cold air gently brushed against his body while dark clouds filled the sky above him.

As the wind blew, strands of his blue hair swayed through the air.

(Note: Son Ju Woo's hair is blue, not black.)

He sighed once more.

"First... I need to change my hair color."

A faint mocking smile appeared on his face.

"Damn it, kid... your black hair was handsome. Why did you dye it blue?"

He spoke as though addressing the body's original soul.

Then he changed his clothes and headed toward the city.

---

He entered a barbershop and returned his hair to its natural black color.

As he calmly walked through the city's streets, a relatively tall young man walking ahead caught his attention.

He recognized him immediately...

From his calm eyes.

"Sung Jin... is that you, kid?"

Sung Jin Woo raised his head and looked at him.

"It's really been a long time."

Son Ju Woo smiled as he looked at him.

'He's much stronger...

His body has changed, his presence is different, as if he's another person.'

The two stood and talked quietly for a while.

"I'm sorry, Son Ju, but I'm heading to a dungeon now."

"Oh? That sounds interesting,"

Son Ju Woo said with a smile.

"Can I come with you?"

Sung Jin Woo froze in place, a strange expression appearing on his face.

He knew Son Ju Woo very well...

He knew how weak he had been and how much he hated dungeons.

But...

Something had changed.

He had noticed it since the previous dungeon, when Son Ju Woo grabbed him while trying to save him.

Those were not the eyes of a frightened person.

Nor the eyes of a weak person.

Rather...

The eyes of a fighter.

The eyes of someone who had witnessed the horrors of the world and remained steadfast.

Sung Jin Woo smiled quietly, then moved forward together with Son Ju Woo.

---

After some time, they arrived at the dungeon site.

There were several other young men there as well.

The group leader, a powerfully built muscular man with a confident smile, stepped forward and began greeting Sung Jin Woo.

Sung Jin Woo spoke to him about Son Ju Woo, and after only a few seconds...

The leader agreed to let him accompany them.

'I'm not comfortable...

Am I in danger? Or is there something else I've overlooked?'

Son Ju Woo quietly sighed and entered the dungeon with the others.

The moment he crossed the gate...

He felt a strange force strike his body.

'Cain... did you feel that?'

|Yes.|

'I can feel the laws of this place...

It's as though the laws of location, time, and space have merged together. But... who is powerful enough to merge three laws and create gates around the world as though it were nothing?'

He was thinking...

When his thoughts were interrupted by a sharp shout.

"Above us!"

Son Ju Woo quickly raised his head.

There was a medium-sized hole above them,

and from within it...

A swarm of red insects the size of small dogs emerged.

While everyone else fought fiercely and powerfully, drowning in the noise of battle and the screams of monsters, both Sung Jin Woo and Son Ju Woo remained standing where they were.

Sung Jin Woo observed the battlefield with sharp eyes, analyzing the team's strength, evaluating their movements, and calmly reorganizing his plans in his mind like a leader accustomed to making decisions amid chaos.

As for Son Ju Woo...

He remained silent.

His eyes were not focused on the monsters as much as they were on the humans around him.

He observed their fighting styles, their movements, their recklessness, and the mistakes they made without realizing it.

'Their defense is completely open...

They're stupid and impulsive.'

He watched how they charged forward without thinking, how they left their backs exposed, and how they chased the monsters as though intoxicated by some strange excitement.

'They're enjoying the killing.

Excitement... violence... recklessness... and no caution whatsoever.'

His brows furrowed slightly.

'If we faced a truly powerful enemy... everyone would die.

It's true that the enemies right now are weak, but that doesn't justify this stupidity.'

Son Ju Woo slowly sighed, and at that moment his eyes caught a slight movement.

Five red ants...

Were quietly approaching him from the edges.

'Hmm... should I do it? ... No, not yet.'

He calmly moved his hand without any haste and drew two dark black daggers whose gleam was both faint and beautiful.

He had bought them after finishing dyeing his hair earlier.

He was far too weak right now.

The Weapon King's Bracelet...

Was still attached to his previous body.

As for the sword he had used in Kim Dokja's world—

It was a legendary and terrifying weapon whose mere existence was enough to attract the attention of the entire world. Drawing it now... would be suicide.

In his current state, he lacked the ability to protect it or bear the consequences of its appearance.

So he thought calmly...

And chose daggers.

'A dagger is also an assassin's weapon.'

A faint smile appeared on his lips as he swung the daggers with calm precision.

One movement...

Then another...

And within moments, the five ants were effortlessly cut apart without making much sound.

Several crystals fell to the ground.

The rest of the team rushed forward to collect them, while Son Ju Woo remained standing where he was, completely uninterested.

And suddenly...

He felt a bloody killing intent lingering around him, faint but unmistakable to him.

'Oh... look at them.

I'm certain they're planning something.'

Son Ju Woo smiled quietly and waved his hand carelessly through the air,

as though brushing away an annoying fly...

Nothing more.
