Chapter 48 - Chapter 48 — Jiang Jiang lightly kisses the side of Ji Xu’an’s neck

He Xinyao searched through every pocket on her body, yet she still could not find the voice recorder she had hidden.

Jiang Jiang stood quietly at the side watching her. Seeing He Xinyao glaring at her viciously, Jiang Jiang even kindly asked, "Student He, did you lose something? Do you need me to help you look for it?"

He Xinyao, however, caught the fleeting trace of a smile in Jiang Jiang's eyes.

It was her!

He Xinyao pointed at Jiang Jiang with that bloodstained hand, her expression twisting as though she would pounce on Jiang Jiang the next second.

"You stole my voice recorder, give it back to me!"

Jiang Jiang stepped back, avoiding getting the blood on He Xinyao's hand on the hem of her skirt.

As He Xinyao shouted those words, several students who had been attracted by the commotion finally walked over to the two of them.

One of the girls looked at He Xinyao's miserable state and could not help covering her mouth and gasping, "Oh my God! Did you fall down the stairs?"

"You need to go to the hospital, right?"

While whispering among themselves, their gazes moved back and forth between He Xinyao and Jiang Jiang. It was obvious they were already imagining something in their hearts.

People instinctively sympathize with the weak. He Xinyao was injured and kept shouting that Jiang Jiang had stolen her things, so the way they looked at Jiang Jiang became somewhat strange.

Jiang Jiang was not angry. Her brows furrowed slightly, as if she were looking at an unreasonable, spoiled child throwing a tantrum.

"Student He, instead of taking the time to throw dirty water on me here, you might as well call yourself an ambulance."

He Xinyao had not even thought of that. Only now did she start trembling as she searched for her phone. A kindhearted girl beside her immediately said, "I'll call 120!"

Jiang Jiang stood where she was, watching coldly as several people surrounded He Xinyao to show concern.

These girls were kind and warmhearted. Even when facing a complete stranger, they would choose to lend a hand when the other person encountered difficulties.

But someone as malicious as He Xinyao did not deserve other people's kindness.

She accepted others' concern without the slightest psychological burden, never once thinking that there had once been a girl whom she had driven into isolation and helplessness.

Jiang Jiang's fingers hanging at her side slowly curled up.

He Xinyao was still shouting nonstop. One moment she claimed Jiang Jiang had pushed her down the stairs; the next she said Jiang Jiang had stolen her voice recorder. She even insisted that the few girls who cared about her search Jiang Jiang's body.

The girls glanced at Jiang Jiang, who remained silent at the side, their expressions all somewhat conflicted.

They had simply wanted to help an injured person, not get involved in someone else's grudges and entanglements. So one of the girls suggested, "Sister, you should inform your counselor first. The counselor can check the school's surveillance."

He Xinyao immediately fell silent, but very quickly she forcefully slapped away the girl's hand that was supporting her and snapped angrily, "If you won't help, then don't help. Why are you being sarcastic here on purpose? You're in the same group as Xie Xiao, aren't you?"

Because Jiang Jiang had just said something similar, the moment He Xinyao heard the words about checking surveillance, she immediately thought of the faint, mocking smile Jiang Jiang had revealed earlier.

She said hatefully, "By the time the counselor comes, Xie Xiao will have already hidden my voice recorder! If you really want to help me, then search her right now. It must be on her!"

The girl who had been slapped was stunned. She stared at the back of her reddened hand, unable to recover for quite a while.

The others were also stunned. For a moment, at the stairwell, only He Xinyao's crying and shouting could be heard. The rest exchanged looks, each wearing an expression as if they wanted to speak but hesitated.

After a long while, it was the girl who had been hit who came back to her senses first. She was furious at He Xinyao and simply stood up abruptly, shouting at her, "Are you sick? I was helping you out of kindness and you hit me! If you're so capable, search her yourself! I'm not your servant. Why should I listen to you?"

Just moments ago, she had even thought that maybe this well-behaved-looking girl beside her had bullied the other. Now she only felt that He Xinyao deserved her fall.

What a terrible temper!

He Xinyao had not expected the other party to talk back to her like that.

She had always been used to being flattered. After entering university, even her roommates gave in to her. So He Xinyao had thought everyone would listen to her like before. She had not expected that they would not indulge her at all.

She was shocked and furious, pointing at the girl and cursing loudly, using every ugly word she could.

The girl was also very angry and simply put her hands on her hips and started arguing back. However, her words were not as vulgar as He Xinyao's, so she faintly fell into a disadvantage. Fortunately, she had several companions who all spoke up for her, so she did not completely lose.

Truly, before one wave had settled, another rose. The matter of the voice recorder had not been resolved, yet He Xinyao had started arguing with others again.

Jiang Jiang had not spoken the entire time. She merely took out her phone quietly and recorded the scene of He Xinyao's ferocious expression.

She was not surprised at all, because someone like He Xinyao, who lacked empathy, could never truly feel gratitude toward others.

She did not even value human life. Would she care about the small kindness others gave her?

When others helped her, she would only think it was natural.

Perhaps in He Xinyao's heart, only Zheng Zhouzhou could stand on equal footing with her. Everyone else had to be beneath them.

Jiang Jiang had not yet watched enough of the spectacle when Ji Heyuan, whose interview had already ended, came looking for her.

"Xie Jiang Jiang!"

From a distance, Ji Heyuan had seen a figure that looked very much like Jiang Jiang. At first she had not been certain, because several people were standing beside Jiang Jiang and they seemed to be arguing about something. From afar, Ji Heyuan could not hear clearly.

After getting closer, she finally confirmed that the person was indeed Jiang Jiang.

Ji Heyuan's first reaction was that Jiang Jiang was being bullied.

She hurriedly ran over. Because she ran too fast, she almost twisted her ankle.

"Xie Jiang Jiang, are you okay?!"

Jiang Jiang reached out to steady her and reminded her softly, "Be careful."

Ji Heyuan looked her up and down. After confirming that Jiang Jiang was completely unharmed, she finally let out a breath of relief and waved her hand. "I'm fine."

She turned to look at He Xinyao and the others. After seeing He Xinyao's disheveled state clearly, Ji Heyuan subconsciously pulled Jiang Jiang a step back, her brows unconsciously knitting together.

"What happened?"

Seeing her protective posture toward Jiang Jiang, the resentment and unwillingness in He Xinyao's heart grew even stronger. She truly wanted to question Ji Heyuan—what exactly did she take Zhouzhou for?

The media had clearly already photographed her and Zhouzhou traveling together hand in hand. Many little fans had come to ask whether Zhouzhou was really dating the second young lady of Linghai Group.

Although He Xinyao felt very sour inside and even thought Ji Heyuan did not deserve Zheng Zhouzhou at all, she had not denied everyone's speculation, because she could sense that Zhouzhou liked Ji Heyuan.

She had already planned how to guide public opinion after the two officially announced their relationship. Who would have thought that Ji Heyuan had no intention of making any announcement at all? Moreover, the online speculation about their relationship had been completely deleted within a single day, and no one dared to mention it again.

Ji Heyuan, this scumbag!

She had let down Zhouzhou's deep affection, yet chose to protect a scheming white lotus.

Xie Xiao was still her own sister's fiancée. Could it be that she wanted to snatch a woman from her own biological sister?

He Xinyao truly wanted to expose this news so everyone could see that the Ji family were not good people at all!

But she did not dare. She was afraid that people would uncover that this information had all been told to her by Zhouzhou. At that time, the Ji family would certainly not let Zhouzhou off.

He Xinyao clenched her palm tightly. In her heart she told herself that all of today's forbearance was for Zhouzhou's future.

Just wait. When Zhouzhou became explosively famous, there would be plenty of times when Ji Heyuan would cry and beg her for forgiveness!

He Xinyao imagined over and over in her heart the scenes of taking revenge on Ji Heyuan and Jiang Jiang in the future, barely suppressing the roaring hatred and impulse in her heart.

Ji Heyuan knew nothing of her resentment. While He Xinyao was immersed in her thoughts, Jiang Jiang had already softly described what had just happened.

Through her narration, the few girls finally understood the whole course of events.

For some reason, they felt that Jiang Jiang was not lying. After all, He Xinyao's earlier crazed appearance was still vivid in their minds. She did not look mentally stable at all.

Ji Heyuan found it even more ridiculous. With a cold face, she asked Jiang Jiang, "Is she the one you mentioned before, the person who was being sarcastic to you in front of the whole class?"

Jiang Jiang nodded. She hesitated for a moment. "I don't know when I offended Student He. From the very beginning, she didn't like me very much."

As soon as Jiang Jiang finished speaking, the girl who had argued with He Xinyao earlier snorted coldly. "When someone has something wrong with her brain and hates others, does she need a reason?"

She swore she would go back tonight and write a long post to publish on the confession wall, sending this ungrateful idiot straight to debut in the C position!

He Xinyao once again experienced the feeling of being accused by everyone. In the past, she had always been the one bullying others. Now, within such a short time, she had lost to Jiang Jiang twice. One could imagine the resentment and gloom in her heart.

However, He Xinyao had barely calmed down by now. Just now she had been so furious that she had argued with the others, but thinking about it now, this must be Xie Xiao's scheme!

She wanted to blur the focus with these trivial matters, and she had almost fallen into Xie Xiao's trap!

"Xie Xiao." He Xinyao looked at Jiang Jiang with reddened eyes. Paired with her messy long hair and the bloodstains on her face, she suddenly looked somewhat pitiful.

"Give me back my voice recorder." He Xinyao said word by word.

The topic returned to the very beginning.

Jiang Jiang of course could not possibly admit that she had taken He Xinyao's voice recorder. Ji Heyuan also felt that she would not do such a thing.

"You didn't even look for it, yet you're certain it was Xie Jiang Jiang who took your voice recorder. Where does your confidence come from?"

When Ji Heyuan was not being foolish, she still had a bit of imposing manner. She looked at He Xinyao with a cold gaze, and He Xinyao was indeed intimidated by her expression.

Seeing that He Xinyao did not speak, Ji Heyuan let out another cold laugh. "Could it be because what you recorded has something to do with Xie Jiang Jiang? And… once that thing is leaked, it would have a very unfavorable impact on her?"

He Xinyao had not expected her to guess so accurately. She panicked a little. Although she quickly restrained her expression, that instant of shock in her eyes was still caught by Ji Heyuan.

Ji Heyuan was startled. "You really fucking recorded something?!"

She even swore. It seemed she was truly angry, Jiang Jiang thought.

He Xinyao had only panicked for a moment at the beginning. She quickly reacted and stubbornly refused to admit it. "I recorded the teacher's lecture content. I want to go back and review it a few more times. Is that not allowed?"

"And according to what you're saying, does that mean Xie Xiao has something that cannot be known by everyone? Could it be that she has done something shameful?"

Ji Heyuan choked. Of course that was not what she meant.

Judging from He Xinyao's reaction, she must have recorded something bad, but Ji Heyuan could not accuse her with certainty. Otherwise, would that not indirectly admit that Jiang Jiang had indeed done something that could not be exposed?

For a moment, Ji Heyuan was speechless. He Xinyao felt she had gained the upper hand and was just about to once again demand that Jiang Jiang return the voice recorder when Jiang Jiang suddenly spoke.

"Both of you have your points."

"How about this, Student He. Xiao Yuan and I can first help you look to see whether the voice recorder fell somewhere else. If we really can't find it, then I'll agree to let you search me."

Several of the onlooking girls nodded upon hearing this. "We can help look too."

He Xinyao looked at Jiang Jiang suspiciously. She suspected that Xie Xiao wanted to take the opportunity to throw the item into the grass. But seeing that everyone agreed with Jiang Jiang's suggestion, He Xinyao had no way to forcibly hold Jiang Jiang down and search her. In the end, she could only nod as well.

However, to prevent Jiang Jiang from making any small moves, she ignored the others' attempts to dissuade her and insisted on limping after Jiang Jiang.

Seeing that she insisted on courting trouble, the others simply stopped caring about her.

Jiang Jiang had just taken two steps when Ji Heyuan pressed down on her shoulder. "Go find a place to sit. I'll look."

Jiang Jiang stopped accordingly. "Then I'll trouble you, little Yuan."

After speaking, she even smiled at He Xinyao. "Perfect. Student He won't have to keep following me."

He Xinyao glared fiercely at her. Now she was the one in a difficult position. Although from the moment Ji Heyuan appeared until now she had not seen Jiang Jiang pass anything to her, He Xinyao still suspected that Jiang Jiang must have secretly done something.

She did not believe her voice recorder would disappear without reason.

While everyone was busy looking, He Xinyao gritted her teeth and said in a low voice, "Xie Xiao, don't be too pleased with yourself. So what if Ji Heyuan protects you? You'd better pray that she can protect you for a lifetime."

Jiang Jiang did not want to speak to her at all.

Seeing that she ignored her, He Xinyao felt hatred again, but at the same time she could not help feeling uneasy.

When exactly had Xie Xiao taken her voice recorder?

He Xinyao stared nervously at Jiang Jiang's side profile, trying to discern the slightest clue from her face.

She thought the best situation would be that after she fell, the voice recorder accidentally slipped out of her pocket and was then picked up by Xie Xiao.

Because her voice recorder had a real-time upload function, even if Xie Xiao refused to return it, after she went back she would still be able to retrieve the recording from just now.

If it had been taken at an earlier time…

He Xinyao was worried that the voice recorder might not have recorded the most crucial part at all. If that were the case, then even if she got the voice recorder back, what would be the use?

Time passed second by second in He Xinyao's anxiety. At that moment, a girl crouching by the bushes suddenly straightened up and excitedly waved at everyone. "I found it!"

Everyone gathered around. She opened her palm, and resting in her hand was precisely He Xinyao's black voice recorder.

He Xinyao anxiously snatched the voice recorder away in one grab, not even saying thank you. Several girls were somewhat annoyed, but thinking that He Xinyao had just been cursing people, they did not find it strange.

"Since the item has already been found, you can't keep blaming Xie Jiang Jiang anymore, right?" Ji Heyuan stood beside Jiang Jiang with her arms crossed, expressionless as she tugged at the corner of her lips. "Can we leave now?"

She curled her lips and muttered in a very soft voice, yet one that everyone could hear, "So unlucky. Came out for an interview and ran into a lunatic."

"Xie Jiang Jiang, you'd better stay far away from this kind of mad dog in the future, or who knows when she might latch onto you."

He Xinyao was furious at her words, but now that the voice recorder had been found, she was more eager to confirm whether the contents inside were intact. Moreover, the injuries on her body had to be treated as soon as possible. So He Xinyao endured it and did not argue with Ji Heyuan again.

Jiang Jiang had already informed the counselor about this matter. The counselor had been startled, and even through the screen Jiang Jiang could feel her shock and panic.

Judging by the time, the counselor should be arriving soon, right?

Besides, the ambulance should already be on its way. In any case, He Xinyao was definitely not going to die.

After a whole night of trouble, Jiang Jiang was also a bit tired. The rest of the matter should not require her to step in. Compared to continuing to entangle herself with He Xinyao, Jiang Jiang at this moment wanted more to go back and complain to Ji Xu'an.

Just as she was thinking that, the corner of her eye suddenly caught sight of a familiar tall and slender figure walking toward them. Jiang Jiang widened her eyes and turned her head to look. Wasn't that Ji Xu'an?

Ji Xu'an's steps were more hurried than usual. Between her loosely falling long hair, that cold and gorgeous face faintly carried a trace of worry.

Jiang Jiang froze. She stared unblinkingly at Ji Xu'an, watching her figure gradually enlarge before her eyes. Jiang Jiang's eye sockets slowly reddened.

Ji Xu'an's gaze had been firmly locked on Jiang Jiang the entire time. When she clearly saw Jiang Jiang's slightly reddened eyes, her steps noticeably quickened again.

"Sis…" As soon as Ji Heyuan saw Ji Xu'an, she quickly put down the arms she had crossed in front of her chest.

Before she could finish speaking, Jiang Jiang suddenly ran forward two steps and threw herself fiercely into Ji Xu'an's arms. Her two arms tightly wrapped around Ji Xu'an's waist, burying her face in the hollow of her neck.

"Sister!" she called in a muffled voice.

Ji Xu'an was so startled that her heart seemed to stop for two seconds. Only after she firmly gathered the person into her arms did she feel as though her feet had finally touched solid ground.

She wanted to remind Jiang Jiang not to be so reckless next time, lest she twist her ankle again. But thinking that Jiang Jiang had just suffered a grievance, Ji Xu'an could not bear to scold her.

Jiang Jiang had only called her once and said nothing more afterward, yet Ji Xu'an could still feel the grievance in Jiang Jiang's heart.

The person in her arms clung to her without letting go. Ji Xu'an did not push her away. Instead, she raised her hand and covered the back of Jiang Jiang's neck, gently pressing her head into her own embrace, as silent comfort.

In broad daylight and in public, the two of them were hugging like this. Ji Heyuan instantly felt a bit superfluous.

She cleared her throat and pretended nothing was happening, shifting her gaze away.

Ji Xu'an held Jiang Jiang and lifted her eyes, her cold gaze sweeping toward He Xinyao. Her aura was too sharp and imposing, scaring He Xinyao into not daring to continue making a scene.

The scene instantly fell into silence.

Ji Xu'an's expression was indifferent, but the protectiveness in her tone was unmistakable. "This classmate, I am Jiang Jiang's older sister. If you have anything to say, you can tell me."

He Xinyao dared to argue with Ji Heyuan, but when facing Ji Xu'an, she could not utter a single word.

With just one glance from Ji Xu'an's seemingly all-seeing eyes, He Xinyao felt as if her clothes had been stripped off and she was standing naked in public. Her schemes and thoughts had nowhere to hide under Ji Xu'an's gaze.

No wonder Zhouzhou had repeatedly reminded her not to provoke the Ji family. So one Ji Heyuan was nothing. The truly terrifying person was Ji Xu'an.

Cold sweat almost broke out on He Xinyao's forehead. She was worried that her Weibo would be uncovered by Ji Xu'an. If that happened, would it affect Zhouzhou?

It should be impossible. In order to prevent her real identity from being exposed, she had used someone else's ID card to register that Weibo account. She also never shared her real-life information on Weibo.

But that day she had accidentally used her own WeChat side account to add Xie Xiao as a friend, and she had forgotten to block her. Although she later quickly set it so that Xie Xiao could not view her Moments, she could not guarantee whether Xie Xiao had already seen it at that time.

The more He Xinyao thought about it, the more panicked she became. She tried hard to comfort herself. It was fine. She would not personally step forward to expose Xie Xiao. From the very beginning, she had planned to sell the recording to the Ji family's business rivals.

If worst came to worst, she would say that everything had been her own idea. Even if Ji Xu'an found out who she was, she would not be able to blame Zhouzhou.

He Xinyao avoided Ji Xu'an's gaze, biting her teeth and saying nothing.

Ji Xu'an seemed to let out a light scoff. Jiang Jiang felt the vibration in her chest and could not help tightening her arms, hugging Ji Xu'an even more closely. She rubbed her cheek against Ji Xu'an's neck hollow, her scorching breath spilling entirely onto the side of Ji Xu'an's neck.

Ji Xu'an did not move at all, letting her do as she pleased. Jiang Jiang therefore became even bolder. When she lifted her head, her lips seemed to accidentally brush against Ji Xu'an's side neck, as light and swift as a dragonfly skimming the water.

Ji Xu'an's body suddenly stiffened. The words she had wanted to say halted in her throat.

Her mind became a little chaotic, and she completely forgot what she had intended to say.

Did Jiang Jiang just… kiss her?

Ji Xu'an became somewhat absent-minded.

For a moment, the scene was especially quiet. Just as the atmosphere grew tense, the counselor finally arrived. When she clearly saw He Xinyao's miserable state, she was completely stunned.

"What happened to you? Why are you bleeding so much? Did you call an ambulance?"

When Jiang Jiang had messaged her, she had only said that He Xinyao had fallen. She had not said it was this serious.

"Yes, we called. It hasn't arrived yet," someone replied.

The counselor let out a breath of relief, then turned to Jiang Jiang. "Xie Xiao, you… hmm? President Ji?"

Linghai Group was a partner enterprise of S University. Ji Xu'an herself had donated a lot of teaching equipment to S University, and she came every year to participate in events. The counselor had seen her several times before, so she recognized her at a glance.

She was stunned for a moment, then remembered that Jiang Jiang's sick leave application had been handled by Ji Xu'an. As a teacher, she knew much more than the students and was very clear about why Jiang Jiang had been injured.

As if only then realizing there were outsiders present, Ji Xu'an closed her eyes briefly, suppressing the surging heat in her heart. Her expression returned to its usual aloofness.

"Hello, Teacher Wang." Ji Xu'an politely greeted the counselor. "I came to pick up my younger sister after school."

Jiang Jiang also heard the counselor's voice. She seemed to want to lift her head and withdraw from Ji Xu'an's embrace, but Ji Xu'an swiftly and precisely pressed her hand against the back of Jiang Jiang's head, pushing her back.

As if that were still not enough, Ji Xu'an's palm continued sliding downward.

Before long, Jiang Jiang's fragile and sensitive nape was entirely enclosed in Ji Xu'an's palm. It was as if even her entire body was under Ji Xu'an's control. In an instant, Jiang Jiang lost all strength, her limbs going soft as she collapsed back into Ji Xu'an's arms.

She heard that Ji Xu'an's voice above her head remained calm and composed, yet the heartbeat in her ear was growing more intense and rapid with each beat.

So Ji Xu'an was far from as calm as she appeared.

Jiang Jiang closed her eyes and breathed lightly.

Ji Xu'an did not look at Jiang Jiang. Instead, she spoke calmly to the counselor, "Sorry, Teacher Wang. Jiang Jiang is timid. She was frightened again just now…"

"It's fine, it's fine." The counselor quickly waved her hand.

She was a little nervous. After all, whenever she had seen Ji Xu'an before, Ji Xu'an had always been walking together with the principal and vice principal.

Seeing Jiang Jiang still shrinking in Ji Xu'an's arms, the counselor asked with concern, "Since Xie Xiao is not feeling well, why don't you take Xie Xiao back to rest first?"

That was exactly what Ji Xu'an intended. He Xinyao's matter could be dealt with later. Jiang Jiang could not stay here waiting all the time.

"Thank you for your trouble, Teacher Wang. Tomorrow I will arrange for someone to handle this matter," Ji Xu'an said. She cast one last deep glance at He Xinyao, then lowered her head to coax Jiang Jiang.

"Let's go first."

Jiang Jiang bit her lip. "But Student He…"

Before Ji Xu'an could speak, the counselor interjected, "It's fine. I'm here. It's getting late. You should all head back."

She was not only speaking to Jiang Jiang, but also to Ji Heyuan and the other girls.

Jiang Jiang still wanted to say something, but Ji Xu'an raised her hand to brush aside the stray hair by Jiang Jiang's cheek, soothing her. "It's fine. If there's any problem, Teacher Wang will contact me."

Only then did Jiang Jiang nod.

Ji Xu'an then released the arm that had been holding Jiang Jiang and instead took her hand. This action caused both of their breaths to pause for a moment.

Those equally slender and pale fingers tentatively explored each other for a brief moment before slowly interlacing tightly, until they were completely inseparable.

A flush slowly spread across Jiang Jiang's face. The intoxicating rosy glow spread from her cheeks all the way to her earlobes, casting a layer of springtime warmth over her fair and radiant little face.

Ji Xu'an took in this spring scenery with her eyes. Her long lashes lowered slightly as she subtly stepped to the side, using her body to shield Jiang Jiang.

Perhaps her expression was too calm and composed. Aside from Jiang Jiang, no one else noticed Ji Xu'an's small thoughts.

Jiang Jiang curved her lips faintly without leaving a trace, allowing Ji Xu'an to hide her away.

Ji Xu'an exchanged a few more polite words with Teacher Wang. Jiang Jiang said nothing, merely standing obediently behind Ji Xu'an with her head lowered, showing none of the toughness she had displayed when facing He Xinyao. She looked just like a little pitiful thing who had been wronged and could only rely on her wife to protect her.

Ji Heyuan thought to herself that Xie Jiang Jiang truly had the temperament of a delicate little wife.

One second she was sighing in her heart about how sweet it was. The next second she saw Ji Xu'an finish the pleasantries and prepare to leave holding Jiang Jiang's hand. From beginning to end, Ji Xu'an had not mentioned her once. Ji Heyuan instantly felt dumbfounded.

"Sis, what about me?"

Ji Xu'an seemed as though she had only just noticed her. She lowered her head to glance at her watch, her brows slightly furrowing. "Aren't you going back to your dormitory?"

Ji Heyuan: "Huh??"

Ji Heyuan: "Aren't I going with you?"

Her expression was especially pitiful.

Ji Xu'an remained unmoved. She answered Ji Heyuan with only three words.

"Not convenient."

Ji Heyuan: "What's not convenient! Weren't we like this the past two days too?"

Ji Xu'an's thin lips parted slightly, just about to say something, when Jiang Jiang behind her suddenly gently shook her hand.

"Sister, let little Yuan go with us."

She spoke very close to her. Her voice was right against Ji Xu'an's ear. Ji Xu'an could clearly hear even the slight tremor in her breathing.

Ji Xu'an moved her lips and changed her words. "Alright."

Jiang Jiang's almond-shaped eyes immediately curved into crescents. In a very soft voice, she coquettishly said to Ji Xu'an, "Sister is the best."

Before Ji Xu'an could respond, Jiang Jiang raised her voice and said to Ji Heyuan, "Let's go, little Yuan."

Hearing this, Ji Heyuan carefully observed her sister's reaction and found that her sister remained silent, clearly agreeing.

Fine, fine, this sister can be discarded. The sister-in-law is the key!

Tonight she would teach Xie Jiang Jiang how to completely win over her sister!
