Anna ordered the Frost Troops to clean up the place and collect the loot.
Ryan observed this from his horseback, where he saw soldiers skinning wolves, taking their fur, and also removing their fangs and claws.
Ryan asked Anna, who was standing in front of him,
"What about the meat?"
Anna did not turn towards Ryan and answered him while looking at the soldiers.
"The meat of these wolves tastes bad and has a disgusting smell that doesn't go away even when cooked, so it's worthless to us."
Another question appeared on Ryan's face:
"Doesn't even using spices like salt help?"
"Yes, many people have tried it, but they said that the taste and smell remain the same."
Anna clapped to get the soldiers' attention.
"Okay, we're done. Everyone, get ready to leave."
She climbed back onto her horse, grabbed the reins, and Ryan was back in the awkward position again.
Ryan looked at the carriage in which Serissa was, as Froskar had been by her side throughout the battle.
Then Anna started to move, and this time she took the lead.
As they progressed, Ryan wanted to get some answers and knowledge, so he started a conversation with Anna.
"Ma'am, may I ask you something?"
Anna replied gently and patted Ryan's head:
"Of course, but I'm not a lady. Call me Anna or sister, it's better."
Ryan didn't know why Anna was so nice to people, but it was fine with him.
"When we were first attacked, how did you get there to save that knight?"
"Well, it's called sword arts, don't you know that?"
"Sword arts?"
"Well, it looks like we'll be taking a lesson on horseback in the open air."
"I'm not a good teacher, so don't expect too much."
"Well, sword arts is something related to the elements."
"First you should know something, we know that there are ordinary people who do not use the elements."
"Among these people, some become soldiers and may then be given the opportunity to learn element."
"Of course, the division commander will only teach the soldiers he trusts."
Ryan was listening intently
"But the way the element is used by the average person is different."
"When learning an element, one will not be able to produce it, but one can use the properties of that element after training, such as agility and strength."
"And when he reaches a certain level, he can extract the element, but only through weapons made from special stones."
"That is, sword arts are fighting movements created by ordinary people who acquired elements."
Then Ryan began asking questions:
"What about natural element users? Can they learn that?"
"Yes, they can, but most of them don't, because they spend most of their time training to improve their level or learn a new element, and sword arts require a lot of physical work, so most of them give up."
"And do users of the arts of the sword consume sparks?"
"Yes, when learning the element, a person will have a spark, but its consumption is weak for us because we train our bodies too much."
"How does this body training make it different?"
"Okay, let's say there are two people, one of whom is physically weak and the other physically strong."
"If both want to become faster using a spark, the weaker one will need a bigger spark than the stronger one."
"When you use your spark to get somewhere quickly, you will use the appropriate amount, and this is the point: if your body is trained, covering that distance naturally will be shorter than for a physically weak person."
"And of course, using a spark exhausts the body, so most elemental users use artifacts to restore their energy and heal their bodies. There are even artifacts that restore the spark, although they are rare."
Ryan was thinking about Anna's words, which made sense; using the element had become easier after training his body.
'Sword arts, this looks interesting'
Ryan was interested in how he could make his elemental abilities manifest on his body, as he had only been using them to create weapons or armor.
After a few minutes of silence, Ryan spoke:
"Can you teach me?"
Anna was surprised by the unexpected request
"What can I teach you?"
"Sword Arts"
Then the Frosty Knights emerged from the forest to reveal a vast green expanse before them.
