Ryan looked at the thick black smoke that surrounded the area, puzzled.
'What's going on?'
Then the blacksmith was heard speaking nervously:
"Isn't that the place where the young lady Elisa was?"
Ryan looked at him.
'Did he say Elisa?'
He looked back at the smoke; it surrounded the area.
'It will stay for a time.'
At that moment, Ryan wished he had been using the wind element; he could have cleared the smoke in a second.
Ryan scratched his head.
"Why should I even care?"
This wasn't his problem; if the smoke didn't harm him or bother him, he had no reason to interfere. Clearly, this was a setup.
The appearance of smoke precisely where Elisa was wouldn't have been a coincidence. Of course, there's a chance it was just a coincidence, but most likely it was deliberate.
But this wasn't his problem, so he decided to return to the hotel.
But before he returned, three figures emerged from the smoke quickly, but Ryan spotted them and was able to track them with his eyes, seeing that Elisa was on one of their shoulders.
"Are they going to kidnap her?"
His guess seems the most likely, as those people's clothing and masks were suspicious, in addition to the fact that Elisa was unconscious and they were taking her away.
Ryan looked calmly at the sword in front of him.
'Should I intervene?'
He then rejected the idea; why should he interfere in matters that weren't his business? That would only bring trouble.
If he intervenes and the kidnappers escape, he will be in trouble; he or his family could even be targeted by the kidnappers in the future.
Therefore, he decided not to interfere and to turn a blind eye to what was happening.
But something unexpected happened when one of the kidnappers was seen being thrown towards a kiosk and crashing into it forcefully.
Then he sees a boy standing in front of the kidnappers, blocking their path.
"It seems we have a hero."
Ryan looked at the new face, filled with curiosity.
The kidnappers then attacked the boy quickly, but their daggers stopped short of cutting his body.
She collided with a wall of air.
"But what is this that's forming in his hand?"
After he said that, a gust of wind blew Ryan backward, almost sending him flying, but he caught the shop counter, which was firmly in place, though it was shaking violently.
"The counter won't hold much longer."
Then he made sharp nails out of ice, from the soles of his feet, and hammered them into the ground to secure himself.
The air was still pressing down on him until he felt something like a knife cut his forehead.
Ryan's eyes widened, and he immediately created a wall of ice in front of him to prevent the air from pressing down on him and also to prevent him from getting injured as had just happened.
Ryan smiled slightly.
"That's interesting."
It was interesting that a child of his age could use such a skill, although it wasn't particularly harmful.
After the air pressure subsided, Ryan kicked away the ice protecting him and looked at the spot where the kidnappers had crashed into the wall.
"Did they die?"
They crashed into the wall with great force, and piles of large rocks fell on them with considerable force. If they died, that wouldn't be surprising.
But then a hand emerged from the rubble, and elsewhere an explosion occurred; the kidnappers were seen standing again, but they were injured.
Then they attacked the boy and Elisa, but it seems that the boy put up a wall around himself and Elisa to protect himself and her.
But the wall was being subjected to intense pressure by the kidnappers.
"This wall will soon crumble."
But strangely, Walid didn't attack.
"It seems his spark will run out."
It seems the boy decided to defend against the attack, and this was a waste of time.
Then the wall was destroyed and one of the kidnappers attacked the boy, targeting his neck.
Ryan sighed.
"This is annoying."
Then he created an ice spear, floated it through the air, and hurled it rapidly toward the kidnapper's foot.
Then I heard a cry of pain
