Aoi Ren made no attempt to conceal his actions; he simply used his authority to push everything through. After all, while the Uchiha clan was a powerful and influential family within Konoha, they were not the ones responsible for law enforcement and security!

"We are acting on official orders—open the door!" The ANBU operative wearing an octopus mask pushed open the gates of the Uchiha compound with an icy expression and walked inside without waiting for permission. No one dared to stop them!
"What is the meaning of this?"
Looking at the ANBU operative's strange mask, Uchiha Emiki raised his eyebrows in confusion, though his heart was filled with unease. They had only just offended Aoi Ren, the Captain of the ANBU, and now the ANBU had come knocking on their door. It was impossible for him not to suspect that this was no coincidence.
"We have discovered the whereabouts of the S-rank criminal Kakuzu. We have heard that your clansman Uchiha Moni possesses exceptional perception and observational skills, so we require his assistance."
The ANBU operative spoke in a consistently cold and emotionless tone. As far as the ANBU were concerned, there was no one aside from the Hokage and their own Captain who was worthy of receiving even the faintest smile from them!
But the moment he heard these words, Uchiha Emiki's eyes widened in shock and anger, and he ground his teeth as he roared, "How dare that little brat Aoi Ren do something like this?!"
"Please do not bring unrelated people into this matter!" The ANBU operative's words immediately cut off any attempt to shift blame onto Aoi Ren...
"Don't you try to play games with me!" Uchiha Emiki snapped furiously. "Does Aoi Ren intend to take Moni outside the village and execute him in secret? I'm telling you right now—Moni is not going anywhere!"
Just then, Uchiha Moni himself arrived, having been alerted to what was happening...
"Grandfather, what on earth is going on here?!"
It turned out that Uchiha Moni was actually Uchiha Emiki's grandson. No wonder Emiki had gone so far as to risk offending Aoi Ren just to ensure his grandson remained safe and unpunished.

"There is no need to trouble yourself with such matters, Lord Emiki. Our mission is set to begin immediately, so please have the Genin Uchiha Moni prepare himself as soon as possible."
The ANBU operative refused to give an inch. From the way the mission had been issued to the specific requirements listed, every part of it followed standard protocol precisely. The only difference was...
