But then — the appearance of Karui and Omoi meant this was a familiar story arc.

Fair, smooth skin, flowing golden hair, sharp, elegant features… and a figure that rivaled Tsunade's legendary proportions.
No doubt about it — this was Samui, one of the three most famously "imposing" figures in the ninja world.
The second of the "Three Great Perils" — the one whose shoulders were said to ache constantly from carrying such weight.
But with Samui, Karui, and Omoi all together, traveling through a forest — Aoi immediately recognized the scenario.
This was the lead‑up to the Five Kage Summit, where Obito would later reveal his grand plan.
Yet one question lingered: When exactly does this arc officially end? Does it finish the moment Obito finishes his speech?
Or does it only conclude once Sasuke kills Danzō, who left the summit and never made it back to Konoha?
The boundaries were vague, so Aoi made up his mind: stick strictly to the plot and cause no trouble.
If he didn't trigger a clear end‑time condition, and accidentally stayed a few months too long, the grass growing over the graves in the Land of No would be several feet high by the time he returned…
And for the record — this is definitely NOT because I'm trying to get close to the "Second Great Peril."
I am far too deep for such superficial motives!
As for how to follow the story? Simple — just keep acting cute.
"Are you guys leaving already?" Aoi flopped down on the ground, looking pitiful.
He gave a tiny surge of chakra to his face, and his cheeks instantly flushed bright red, as if burning with fever.
"This child has a fever!"
Karui and Omoi yelped and turned to Samui.
Even Samui could not bring herself to walk away now. She stepped forward quickly, scooped Aoi up into her arms, and said: "We must hurry — we'll hand him over to the medical team in Konoha."
After a few minutes of silence, Omoi scratched his head awkwardly.
"Captain… maybe you should let Karui carry him instead."
"Why?" Samui asked, frowning.
"Am I holding him incorrectly? I've got him supported from both sides, head up, feet down — that's the proper way!"
"Cough… cough…"
Omoi rubbed the tip of his nose and smiled wryly.
"It's not about the position, Captain. It's… a matter of scale."
"A matter of scale?!"
Aoi's head was pointed upward, but he was being pressed deep into what felt like two solid mountains.
Pressure closed in from all directions, and soon even his neck turned bright red from the strain.
One minute later…
No matter how unwilling Karui was, Aoi was finally transferred into her arms.
Samui had no choice — she didn't want her attempt to rescue a child to end up suffocating him to death.
That way of dying might sound like a dream come true to some, but…
