Chapter 181 - Chapter 181 God is His Father

The moment the young man wearing a crystal monocle appeared, Lin Huai's mind went completely blank.

It's over.

That was the only thought left in his heart.

A sense of utter powerlessness surged through him. The other party didn't play by the rules at all, yet their power was overwhelmingly strong. He couldn't fight, couldn't run, and trying to reason with them was a complete waste of effort.

Lin Huai wasn't afraid that Amon would kill him; what he feared was that this guy, purely for fun, would turn everything into a chaotic mess, making all his previous efforts a complete joke.

Lin Huai pressed his throbbing temples.

But this uninvited guest ignored Lin Huai's rigid expression. Amon smiled, his gaze passing over everyone and landing on the bubbling Mandarin Duck Hotpot in the center of the table.

Curiously, He extended a finger and gently touched the Spicy Broth.

Then, He put the finger in His mouth to taste it, His eyes behind the monocle lighting up.

"Hmm, interesting. The combination of pain and taste, humans are truly a creative species."

Amon's voice was gentle, with a strange accent, like a tourist visiting the city for the first time, which slightly eased the others' vigilance.

Tony Stark was the first to speak. He sized up the uninvited guest and said in his usual teasing tone: "Hey, sir, barging in uninvited isn't a good habit. Are you Lin's new Magician friend? Do you make doves or playing cards appear?"

"No no, you've misunderstood." Amon shook his finger at Tony, then pointed at Lin Huai. "I'm not his friend; we are colleagues."

Colleagues?

Everyone present was stunned.

"I am the loyal servant who tolls the bell for Fool. My name is Amon. Greetings." Amon gave a slight bow, performing a flawless aristocratic salute.

Tony's eyes lit up immediately.

Fool! An Angel!

He had long wanted to study the mysterious entity behind Lin Huai, and now one claiming to be an Angel had delivered itself to his doorstep.

He immediately stepped forward, completely ignoring Steve's warning glance from the side.

"An Angel? Really?" Tony circled around Amon as if inspecting a rare treasure. "Do you have wings? Can you glow? What's your energy composition? Is it the same as the Bifrost Bridge? Can I draw a little blood for research? Just a bit. Angels shouldn't feel pain, right?"

Watching Tony bounce around, Amon didn't get angry. Instead, He smiled even wider.

"What an interesting fellow." His gaze swept over Tony, appraising him like a new toy. "Your vitality... it's too exuberant."

As soon as the words were spoken, Amon snapped His fingers.

Snap.

A crisp sound.

The expression on Tony's face instantly froze.

He seemed to sense something. He looked down at his crotch, then abruptly raised his head to stare at Amon.

His face turned deathly pale in an instant. His lips began to tremble, his eyes filled with horror and disbelief.

"No..."

His hands trembled as he reached down, frantically groping around. The color completely drained from his face.

"No! No!"

Tony let out a scream that echoed throughout the Base.

"It's gone! It's gone!" Tony Stark wailed. "Jarvis! Jarvis! Full body scan immediately! Now! My family heirloom! My pride! It's gone!"

Steve and Bucky felt a chill run down their spines, empathizing deeply.

Wanda looked at Amon with a puzzled expression.

"An interesting ability. It's neither Beyonder power nor like the magic of this World."

Following Wanda's gaze, Amon tipped an imaginary hat to her.

Only Lin Huai felt his heart clench violently.

In just these two minutes, Amon had stolen Tony's manhood and had also engaged in a round of confrontation with Wanda.

"Oh, it seems you've lost something important." Amon crouched down, looking innocently at Tony rolling on the ground.

"You bastard! Give it back to me!" Tony, eyes bloodshot, lunged at Him.

But his body passed right through Amon's illusory form, crashing heavily onto the floor.

Amon stood up, brushing off nonexistent dust from His hands, and commented: "An interesting fellow, just not very proper. Well, the game is over."

He snapped His fingers again.

Snap.

Tony gasped sharply, as if he had retrieved something precious. He immediately began checking himself, flustered.

After confirming it was back, he collapsed on the floor, breathing heavily as if he had just been fished out of water, his eyes vacant as if he had walked through the gates of hell.

Amon remarked: "It seems I'm much more proper than you are. See how nice I am."

He ignored Tony, who was questioning his life choices, and turned to Lin Huai, who had remained silent.

"Why have you come?" Lin Huai finally asked, eager to send this troublesome being away.

"I didn't really want to come." Amon shrugged, His tone feigning helplessness. "But my avatars and I held a vote, and they thought this side would be fun, so I was sent over. So, here I am."

He adjusted His monocle and added: "Hmm, it's quite a show. I don't fully understand it, but it's interesting."

Lin Huai didn't respond; he had no interest in discussing theater with this Lunatic.

"Alright, I've seen enough here." Amon resumed His playful expression, looking at Lin Huai and asking:

"Are you planning to go back? Isn't there another scene waiting for you in Eastern Europe?"

"If you're heading back, let's go together. I'd like to see that sulfur-smelling fellow too. If you're late, you might miss the show."

"Say your goodbyes first. I'll be watching you, always. I'll wait for you outside." Amon touched His monocle and vanished.

Seeing Amon disappear, Lin Huai finally let out a sigh of relief. He was about to speak when Tony and Wanda crowded around him.

"Who the hell was that guy? Was that a magic trick? I'm going to Eastern Europe with you! I need to find him!" Tony shouted, his face flushed with anger and embarrassment.

"Lin, who is He? What is He? My powers felt... strange around Him." Wanda asked, her curiosity piqued.
