Chapter 130 - Your lipstick seems to have fallen off?

By now Su Wan had finished trying on her outfit. After stepping out of the design department's office, she couldn't help glancing toward the tightly shut CEO door.

More than an hour had passed, yet Yu Xiaoxiao still hadn't emerged from that room.

Su Wan stood rooted, brows knitted, staring at the closed door and windows in puzzlement.

Right then, afraid someone might sense something amiss, Yu Xiaoxiao—clothes neat once more—was the first to slip out of the office.

Seeing the door open, Su Wan walked up. "Sister Xiaoxiao, finished with your discussion?"

A faint flush still lingered on Yu Xiaoxiao's cheeks; she remained lost in the scene that had just played out.

When Su Wan spoke to her, Yu Xiaoxiao quickly tucked a strand of hair behind her ear to hide her unease. "Mm, basically done. I'll go grab a few more documents."

Catching the flicker of panic in Yu Xiaoxiao's eyes, Su Wan gave her another covert once-over.

"Sister Xiaoxiao, your lipstick looks like it's worn off."

Su Wan's gaze fixed on her lips. Yu Xiaoxiao's expression grew even more awkward. "Oh, I had tea with President Jiang just now. This brand smudges against the cup—hopeless."

Hearing that, Su Wan exhaled in relief.

"Ah, what brand is it? Tell me so I can steer clear."

"Uh… I forgot; it was a gift." Yu Xiaoxiao fobbed her off.

"Hey… Sister Xiaoxiao, what were you two eating in there? There's something milky at the corner of your mouth."

As she spoke, Su Wan lifted a finger to wipe it away.

The moment Su Wan's hand neared her lips, Yu Xiaoxiao snapped out of it, hastily licked the spot and covered her mouth. "Oops, how careless of me—how embarrassing! I'll go touch up my makeup." With that, she hurried off.

Watching Yu Xiaoxiao's flustered retreat, Su Wan's eyes drifted toward the interior of the office.

Instinct told her the two of them must have been up to something in there.

With that thought, Su Wan stepped forward and knocked.

Jiang Cheng's voice answered promptly.

"Come in."

Given permission, Su Wan entered.

Jiang Cheng was half-reclined on the sofa, looking invigorated, even faintly smug.

"What brings you here? Need something?"

Noticing nothing out of place in his attire, Su Wan curved her lips unconsciously.

In high spirits, she said, "Nothing special. I've never toured your office; President Jiang doesn't mind if I look around, right?"

"Feel free." Jiang Cheng stood, stretched, and walked to the tea table to brew a pot.

Su Wan sauntered in a languid, feline gait, surveying the ornaments as she moved.

"Tsk, this décor—there's even a bedroom. That bed is huge; rich folks sure know how to enjoy life."

"Jealous? How about I accompany you for a test-lie?"

Su Wan knew every verbal bout with Jiang Cheng left her at a disadvantage, but she was used to it by now.

The topic was a trap either way, so she simply shut up and continued her unhurried circuit.

Seeing Jiang Cheng roll his neck, Su Wan's eyes glinted.

She moved behind his chair and let her slender hands settle on his shoulders, kneading with firm pressure.

Her fingers were long and graceful; the massage sent a tingling, electric pleasure through Jiang Cheng's muscles.

In short—it felt insanely good.
