Chapter 308 - Tomson Golf Villa

Under the guidance of the Sales Manager, Jiang Cheng and Zhu Yan rode straight up to the front door of the villa they had come to see.

Looking at the perimeter wall of the standalone villa, Jiang Cheng was clearly pleased; the privacy seemed excellent.

"This way, Mr. Jiang," the Sales Manager, Ning Yan, said respectfully to Jiang Cheng.

As he led the way, he briefed Jiang Cheng: "Sir, the grounds alone cover nearly six thousand square metres. Every plant and flower here is a premium variety, tended by specialists."

"For example, these Five-Needle Pines beside the pond were transplanted from out of town—one tree costs over three hundred thousand. And these purple bell orchards climbing the walls were specially planted and cared for daily."

A lush, verdant vista greeted them, along with an impeccably trimmed lawn.

A huge tree stood in the yard, with a stone table and benches beneath for shade.

Sipping a quiet drink here would be bliss.

Seeing Jiang Cheng eyeing the pond with interest, Ning Yan quickly added, "It's stocked with carp and turtles. You can feed them when you're free. On the other side there's also a huge swimming pool."

Jiang Cheng nodded. "The water's crystal-clear—lovely. But those aren't ordinary turtles, are they? Looks like Alligator Snappers, and they're huge. Is it safe to keep them with carp?"

"Exactly right, sir. They're alligator snappers—never reach in; they bite. We do lose a carp now and then, but if you feed them meat regularly they're fairly manageable."

While Jiang Cheng looked intrigued, Zhu Yan took two steps back at the sight of the massive snappers.

Those heads are enormous!!

If one snapped, there'd definitely be blood.

"Why on earth keep these things?? They must weigh dozens of pounds—what if they bite someone?"

Ning Yan chuckled. "The original owner made his fortune overseas. He bought and renovated the place but never moved in; all his business shifted abroad, so he asked us to manage and sell it. These 'little guys' were tiny when they arrived; now they're thirty or forty kilos."

"This is also our largest villa here—just the interior renovation cost over twenty million, and nearly another ten went into plants and décor."

Following Ning Yan's introduction, Jiang Cheng turned to look at the modern-style mansion behind them.

Surrounded by blooms and greenery, even Zhu Yan—who came from a well-off family—couldn't help envying Jiang Cheng.

Tomson's golf villas rank among the top estates in the Demon City.

Any unit changes hands for one or two hundred million.

Next door stretches a vast golf course with sweeping views.

Living here must be sheer pleasure.

After a full circuit of the grounds, the three headed inside.

The moment they entered, opulence greeted them—twin curved staircases sweeping up to the second floor.

"The entire hall uses top-grade eco-friendly materials. Every painting on the walls is unique, acquired at auction from renowned artists."

Ning Yan continued detailing every fixture and finish with professional enthusiasm.

"Besides the outdoor pool, there's an indoor one, plus a games room, billiards room, underground wine cellar, gym..."

With a father in the renovation business, Jiang Cheng could see the workmanship and premium materials were impeccable.

The place was so large that even a casual walk-through left him a little tired.

Noticing Jiang Cheng glance at her heels, Zhu Yan explained, "Don't worry—I can handle ten centimetres easily."

"Hmm? That short?"

"Not short, right?" she answered, puzzled; a few seconds later she caught on.

Little pervert, she scolded silently.

Seeing her face flame, Jiang Cheng let the matter drop.

Given their current relationship, such jokes were best limited.

"Ahem—we've still got plenty of properties to view. I'm afraid your feet might suffer; want to change shoes?"

She hadn't expected that concern.

How thoughtful.

Zhu Yan shook her head. "It's fine—I've flats in the car. I'll swap when we leave."

Jiang Cheng nodded, then told Ning Yan, "Prepare the contract. I've brought the bank people—let's save time and sign for full payment."

The offer of an immediate, full cash payment startled Ning Yan.

Even someone used to the wealthy found Jiang Cheng's decisiveness impressive.

Many tycoons lived in Tomson Golf Villas; even the former richest man in Demon City resided here.

Yet only a handful paid in full upfront.

"Understood, Mr. Jiang. I'll contact the original owner at once and expedite everything."

With all parties cooperating, the paperwork still took an hour to complete.

Jiang Cheng whiled away the time scrolling TikTok and sampling the property's seasonal fruit and fresh juice.

When everything was finalised, Ning Yan led the entire property staff in a deep bow. "Congratulations, Mr. Jiang, on becoming a valued owner of Tomson Golf Villas. From today onward we are dedicated to providing you with the finest service."

He then presented the keys: "Here are the house keys. For security you may wish to change the locks and reset the gate code."

Jiang Cheng clapped Ning Yan's shoulder. "Thanks, Manager Ning."

"My pleasure. If you need anything, just call—I'll handle it promptly."

Working beside such magnates, Ning Yan knew exactly how to position himself.

They were not only his bread and butter but also his best ladder out of class immobility.

Jiang Cheng nodded. "One thing—the place is cleaned well; keep it that way. I don't like too many people around, so schedule the cleaners at fixed times."

Ning Yan nodded eagerly. "Understood, absolutely."
