Chapter 361 - It's Not Expensive.

"Never thought you had an innocent past." Jiang Cheng was genuinely surprised; under that devil-may-care façade there'd actually been a simple, sincere chapter.

Still, Jiang Cheng wasn't shocked—after all, before he'd been reborn he'd been just as pure.

I believe every guy, the first time his heart flutters, really wants a simple, clean romance; it's just that society is too messy.

Only after you realize your sincere heart is worth nothing to others does a man start becoming a playboy.

"This prick is definitely still nursing a broken heart—otherwise why, at his age, has he never had a real relationship?"

Wang Congcong didn't buy Qi Yuan's remark at all.

"Stop the nonsense—every relationship I've had was serious. When I was eighteen I wasn't nearly as wild as you two. Next to you guys I'm practically a pure, innocent kid."

Qin Fen cut them off: "Spare me. You, innocent? Didn't you just shout out to Big Honey again? I swear, if your dad found out wouldn't he beat you to death?"

"He's got no time to police me. My online rep's already trashed—what's one more scandal? Besides, what's wrong with Big Honey? She already has a kid; I'd get to be an instant dad—cheap deal."

Jiang Cheng didn't follow online gossip, but he knew the nickname Big Honey.

"Big Honey—that Yang woman?"

Wang Zheng chimed in: "Right, right, I saw that headline too. Bro Wang shouted out to Big Honey again. Seriously, Wang, you into her?"

Seeing Jiang Cheng's puzzled face, Chen Hao explained: "Her husband was caught 'discussing scripts' late at night; now they're divorcing. Wang here said if she's single he'll marry her."

Jiang Cheng gave Wang Congcong a helpless smile—classic move from the guy.

Marrying her was impossible; with Wang Congcong's status, Richest Man Wang would never let him wed someone inside the entertainment circle.

He himself had said his dad forbade dating anyone in the industry—'that circus is too chaotic'.

"Pretty sly for a self-proclaimed innocent kid—you've got your eye on a married woman."

"What do you clowns know? Ever heard: 'Young and naive, ignoring the charm of young wives; wasting time chasing girls who are still green.'"

After more banter they took the VIP lane toward the boarding gate.

Standing beneath Wang Congcong's private jet, everyone gawked.

"Damn, worthy of the son of the richest man—a Gulfstream G550. First time I've flown this model; guess I'm still sheltered. Only Brother Wang gets this treatment regularly. Us common folk will keep saving for first-class," Qin Fen said, laying the flattery on thick.

"Buzz off—if you don't want to ride, scram."

Neither of them was stingy; they loved roasting each other.

After a look around Jiang Cheng asked, "Bro Wang, how much for this bird?"

"It's my dad's—Gulfstream G550, about forty-five million USD…"

Forty-five million dollars converts to roughly ¥250 million.

Jiang Cheng remembered Richest Man Wang's jet was on par with the two Father Mas' planes—top-tier worldwide—

yet the price felt almost cheap.

He wasn't being arrogant; a routine cash-back was usually tens of millions. With his current funds he could buy the toy without blinking.

Jiang Cheng nodded. "Not that expensive, actually."

None of the others could afford a private jet on their own.

But after shorting Coca Cola with Jiang Cheng—except Qi Yuan—the rest could stretch for one. "Yeah, we could bite the bullet, just hate the pain," Wang Zheng said with a grin.

Chen Hao added, "Same here. I'll pinch pennies and fly first-class like Brother Qin."

Jiang Cheng shook his head. "Don't forget there's easy money coming; then it won't hurt."

"Old Jiang, you're right—I suddenly feel like I can do it," Wang Zheng beamed.

"Old Jiang makes it sound so doable."

"Count me out—I'm into cars. I'll see if I can scoop up a couple over there."

"Thinking of buying another ride?" Wang Congcong asked Qin Fen.

"Not sure yet. Kinda want a Veneno—been itching since the last payout…"

They all knew each other's finances; only Qi Yuan felt stung by the casual "not expensive."

"I'm done—stop it, okay? One wants a jet, another a Veneno—I'm going to curl up and die."

Wang Congcong used to feel smug rolling up in his private jet.

This time he got zero kick out of showing off.

After all, Jiang Cheng's balance could buy ten jets without a hiccup.

While they jabbered, they didn't notice the two Flight Attendants at the cabin door wearing stunned expressions.

They knew Wang Congcong and Qin Fen, but the way the other young masters talked made them seem anything but simple.
