Chapter 395 - Joshua's Envy

Jiang Cheng's expression didn't flicker; he met Theodore and Vidos's gaze calmly.

In other matters he might not know Great Britain well, but when it comes to global real-estate worth owning, London is top of the list.

Nine billion yuan is a sum he can produce.

Jiang Cheng neither needs to liquidate nor to raise capital.

After all, his account still holds more than twelve billion; spending nine on property and leaving over two for leisurely splurging is more than enough.

With that, Jiang Cheng said easily, "Then let's follow this scale—shops, rentable hotel-apartments, commuter-friendly homes—mix them up."

After that sentence the three others fell silent for several seconds; even Joshua was visibly stunned.

He had assumed Jiang Cheng merely liked real-estate investment; he never imagined he would actually go through with it.

And over a billion pounds is no small change.

"You're really going to buy that much property?" Joshua asked in surprise.

Jiang Cheng smiled. "Of course. Your firm can handle it, right?"

Hearing his certainty, Jessica and Alexander, who'd been listening quietly, were stunned and swallowed hard.

She didn't believe Jiang Cheng would grandstand in this setting.

After all, this was their first meeting; such a joke would cheapen him.

Theodore Vidos's tone became formal.

He now felt lucky he'd taken the initiative to befriend Jiang Cheng.

"Absolutely; our company is the largest in London. You can entrust the entire transaction to us. Just have the funds ready in advance."

Seeing their eyes, Jiang Cheng smiled confidently, "Relax—a billion-plus pounds won't strain me. When it's done, call me and I'll have my bank liaison contact you."

Watching the relaxed Jiang Cheng, Joshua couldn't help being envious.

He didn't doubt the claim; he knew Jiang Cheng is heir to the Mingsheng Group.

What shocked and impressed him was that Jiang Cheng, not yet in control, could freely deploy so much cash.

And over a billion pounds is no small change.

How many trust-fund kids or heirs can say the same?

A couple hundred million might be forgivable—but over a billion?

Joshua looked at him helplessly. "Jiang, you're the most loaded Tycoon I know. You haven't taken over Mingsheng already, have you?"

Catching his drift, Jiang Cheng shook his head. "Honestly, I've never touched Mingsheng; I'm still in the start-up stage."

Joshua's eyes widened, his expression turning stranger.

Jiang Cheng hasn't relied on Mingsheng, and is starting his own business?

Plenty of rich kids start companies; few turn a profit.

Joshua and Wang Congcong are textbook cases.

Both prove the online meme, 'Don't fear rich kids partying; fear rich kids chasing dreams.'

Joshua had tried too, with more capital than Wang Congcong.

After launching, he earned nothing and lost over a billion pounds.

He's clearly raking in big money.

Jiang Cheng, unaware of Joshua's mental drama, simply wanted to clarify he's unrelated to Mingsheng.

After all, he hasn't even visited his great-uncle yet; using Mingsheng's name would feel wrong.
