Chapter 568 - Smash Them All

Blow after blow rang out; in moments, Qin Cong's motorcycle had been reduced to scrap.

Feeling his arms grow sore, Jiang Cheng tossed the iron bar to the ground and told Wang Sheng, "Not a single one left—smash the lot."

The moment Jiang Cheng spoke, the gang of wannabe toughs and onlookers froze.

No way—this is insane.

At Jiang Cheng's order, Wang Sheng and the others snatched iron bars and baseball bats from the youths' hands and bikes.

Without mercy they brought the weapons down on the motorcycles.

Under the assault the bikes were soon pock-marked and unrecognizable.

Jiang Cheng watched, not a flicker of pity in his eyes.

He knew these punks bullied the weak and shook down students for protection money.

Today he would teach them what fear meant.

Wang Sheng's crew showed no restraint; every swing of bar or bat landed with a dull thud.

One after another the motorcycles were smashed to pieces.

Their owners stared in horror and rage as their prized rides were destroyed.

They started forward, but one look at Wang Sheng's savage expression sent them scurrying back.

Several of the softer boys couldn't stop their legs from shaking.

All they ever did was smoke, act tough, extort classmates, and pick on the weak—never had they faced anything like this.

The crowd was stunned.

Everyone knew Jiang Cheng was Second-generation rich, yet this vengeance was extreme.

Qin Cong had threatened to wreck his car and break his hand.

In the blink of an eye Jiang Cheng had returned the favour, smashing both bike and rider.

No empty words—his actions defined arrogance.

"Ruthless. That's freaking awesome!"

"Those bikes aren't worth much, but together they're still a few hundred grand. He's really trashing them?"

"I heard he was on his way to sign a contract—do you think a few hundred grand matters to him?"

"Damn, he's hot. Next to those tacky wannabes, this Handsome Guy is the real deal—should I just throw myself at him?"

...Amid the chatter, a girl at the back clapped a hand over her mouth in shock: "Jiang Cheng?"

Recognising him, she snapped several quick photos.

She wasn't alone—neck craned, nearly everyone was filming.

Even Zhou Ying was dumbstruck.

She'd seen Jiang Cheng's madness in Modu, yet the sight of him now made her heart skip.

She racked her brain for words.

Nothing seemed adequate.

At that moment her feelings tipped from fondness into worship.

All she could whisper was, "Badass."

The two girls beside her squealed, "Badass? More like packin'!"

"Absolutely freaking badass!"

...Watching eight bikes pounded to scrap, Qin Cong trembled with rage: "You're insane—I'm calling the cops!" He fumbled for his phone, but Wang Sheng stomped on his right hand the instant it appeared.

"Agh—let go, you bastard! That's assault!"

"Oh, so now you know the law? Weren't you the one shouting about smashing cars and hands? If you know the rules, why don't you ever act human?"

Jiang Cheng's words hung in the air; the gang flushed crimson yet dared not speak with Bodyguards clutching iron bars.

"What? Weren't you bragging about cornering someone in the school toilet? Cat got your tongue?"

"Smash!"

Bang!

Crash!

Clang!

The sound of destruction echoed; the crowd stayed silent except for the injured Qin Cong: "If I walk out alive, I'll make you pay—you'll regret wrecking my bike and my hand!"

Jiang Cheng merely smiled and kicked the iron bar toward them.

"Bunch of junk—why so precious? I smash mine; if it bothers you, smash mine back and I'll pay. Come on, have a go—later you can compensate me the same way. Deal?"

He pointed at his five-million-plus bentley continental; the wannabes' faces cycled from white to red to white again.

These small-time punks had never even seen a car that pricey, let alone dared smash it.

They couldn't afford to.

Jiang Cheng could reimburse them without blinking.

But if they laid a finger on his ride, they'd be ruined.

"Well? I've cleared space. Where's that swagger you arrived with?"

...At the sales office, Xiao Ai sprinted to the supervisor's office to report.

Chen frowned. "What are you waiting for? Call the police!"

Xiao Ai hesitated: "He was about to sign for three top-floor units, full payment. Before we finished, this happened. Our guards tried to intervene but he stopped them—and he has professional Bodyguards."

The commission on that sale would have been six figures; now it was slipping away. Chen hesitated too. "Full price? Who is he?"

"All I know is his name—Jiang Cheng."

"I'll ask the boss right now."

Chen dialled and relayed the scene outside.

When he hung up, Xiao Ai asked anxiously, "What did the boss say?"

"Don't call the police yet, settle it privately. He's a major buyer—police could damage the project's reputation. The boss is on his way; protect the client at all costs..."
