Chapter 742 - Do You Like Me or Zhou Ying?

The flush made Jiang Cheng's eyes redden.

After a helpless sigh, Jiang Cheng pulled Qiao Yinyin up.

He pinched her dewy, delicate lips. "Hurt so soon? Then let this family doctor give you a thorough examination."

...When she woke the next morning, Jiang Cheng found Qiao Yinyin trying again.

He lifted the blanket off her head. "Didn't you say you had a mouth ulcer? Doesn't it hurt anymore?"

"Hubby, how come I feel like you're still in puberty?" Qiao Yinyin mumbled.

"I'm only eighteen—of course I'm still developing."

The moment Jiang Cheng finished, Qiao Yinyin's gaze drifted downward.

She covered herself in fright. "You'll really keep growing? That's terrifying..."

Usually, after Jiang Cheng stayed a day or two, she needed ages to recover.

If the scale increased any further, it would be bad news for her.

That was why she'd recently enrolled in a yoga class.

While improving her flexibility, she kept strengthening her pelvic muscles.

They weren't at the stage of having kids yet, but repeated wear and tear would take a toll.

Qiao Yinyin felt she was holding Jiang Cheng back.

He was a normal, highly demanding man.

If she couldn't keep up, it was unfair.

Especially since he treated her so well.

Jiang Cheng pulled her hand away. "Why do that when I'm right here?"

"What are you talking about? I wasn't."

...Hours later, Qiao Yinyin was exhausted.

She tried to get up for lunch with him, but he pressed her back onto the bed.

"If you're tired, stay put. I'll order lunch; you can nap after you eat."

Watching him smooth her bangs, Qiao Yinyin felt overwhelmed.

"All right, hubby. Tomorrow I'll register my Fierce Cat TV account."

Jiang Cheng nodded. "No rush. Rest a few days first. If you run into trouble, look for Shen Chong or Xie Bing—I've already told them everything about you."

Her eyes reddened. "Thank you, hubby. Manager Shen told me other signed Internet Celebrities' accounts belong to the company, but mine is mine alone. You're so good to me!"

Looking back, in just over five months she had gone from an unknown Internet Celebrity to a top earner making a million a month.

None of it would have happened without Jiang Cheng's support.

She never imagined the night she hired a Designated Driver for money would change her life.

Jiang Cheng stroked her hair. "Not just you—Zhou Ying too."

Qiao Yinyin froze, then gave him a playful glare. "Hmph, Manager Shen lied. I actually thought I was the only one."

"You're not the only one, but there are just two of you." He didn't hide it.

She had known about Zhou Ying from the start; Jiang Cheng saw no need to lie.

Qiao Yinyin wasn't truly angry—and wouldn't dare to be.

"So... hubby, do you like Zhou Ying more, or me?"

Her hands started wandering again.

Jiang Cheng's lips curled in a teasing smile. "Right this moment, of course I like you more."

"All right, who's prettier, her or me?"

"Enough with the jealousy. Every woman of mine is gorgeous."

Qiao Yinyin laughed softly. "Hmph, I'm not jealous. But aren't you scared we'll both run off one day? You'd lose big."

"Should I force you to stay? That's no fun. If you run, so be it—I'll get a few extra days of rest."

Not getting the answer she wanted, she pouted.

"So that's your scheme. Well, I'll drain you dry so you can't think of anyone else!"

She pushed him down and bit him... By noon she was too tired and fell asleep.

Jiang Cheng drove away from Lijing International back to his luxury villa.

He dropped onto the living-room sofa; before Xia Li could bring water,

Wang Sheng slipped in like a ghost.

He bowed slightly and murmured, "Young Master Jiang, the men watching that hospital in Jing'an returned. Someone seems set on harming Lin Yao."

Jiang Cheng's brows knitted briefly, then relaxed. "Any idea who?"

"Not yet. We only know his Bodyguard intends to make a move."

Jiang Cheng waved dismissively. "Keep watching. Ignore anything that doesn't concern us."

He had zero interest in Lin Yao's life or death.

"Understood. I'll pass the order."

Wang Sheng vanished as quickly as he had come.
