Chapter 745 - Such a Big Temper, Let Me Use AD to Put Out the Fire

That bite directly triggered Jiang Cheng's Agile Tongue Movement skill.

"Wooo..." Zhou Ying, who was somewhat of a novice in this regard, was suddenly entangled like this.

Her body unconsciously went soft.

She couldn't even think about struggling.

In the end, she even dizzily wrapped her arms around Jiang Cheng's neck.

After this bout of tossing and turning, the two of them no longer had any mood to continue staying at the school.

Mainly, Zhou Ying was worried that Jiang Cheng might actually do 'that kind of thing' to her in the practice room later.

If they were seen by others, the consequences would be unimaginable.

Sitting in the lamborghini reventón, Zhou Ying still glared at Jiang Cheng with some indignation, grumbling coquettishly, "You clearly said you'd come to accompany me to practice, but I see you're just here to bully me."

Facing Zhou Ying's accusation, Jiang Cheng not only felt no guilt at all, but instead, with a beaming smile, he reached out and gently stroked her back as if smoothing ruffled feathers.

"Such a big temper, I'll use AD to put out the fire for you in a bit."

Although Zhou Ying was naive, she still understood the meaning behind those words.

She gently slapped Jiang Cheng and said with a burning face, "All you know how to do is bully me."

"Didn't you say the people in your dorm don't get along well? Why are you still living in the dorm? Why aren't you living in the house off-campus?"

"Actually, it's mainly because I need to practice frequently. The school has specialized practice rooms and various piano rooms. I couldn't book a piano room today, so I came over to dance and practice some basics."

Hearing this, Jiang Cheng asked further as if having a sudden realization, "I see. So the reason you don't live off-campus is that you feel there isn't a suitable practice space there, right?"

Zhou Ying was made a bit lightheaded by Jiang Cheng's sudden question.

She nodded cutely in response, "Um... I guess so. After all, my major is different from yours; there's relatively less textbook knowledge and more reliance on actual practice. Oh right, our school has a piano and dance competition coming up soon. I signed up for it. If I perform well, I'll have a chance to go to the Capital for a higher-level competition."

Upon hearing this, Jiang Cheng quickly picked up his phone and sent a message to Wang Sheng while waiting for a red light.

Afterward, he turned on the navigation system and started searching for information related to Steinway.

Even though Jiang Cheng didn't know how to play the piano, the fame of Steinway pianos was like thunder to his ears.

Its reputation in the piano world was equivalent to Patek Philippe among watches.

As one of the world's top piano manufacturers, such a specialty store definitely wouldn't be found in an ordinary place, but this was Modu City.

Sure enough, as soon as Jiang Cheng entered 'Steinway', many addresses immediately popped up on the navigation screen.

Looking closely, these were all Steinway Halls within Modu City.

One of them was even the headquarters.

Jiang Cheng checked the distance to the destination and found that the headquarters was a bit far.

So he decisively chose the nearest branch store.

This store was barely five kilometers away from their current location; such a short distance was very convenient.

At this time, Zhou Ying, sitting in the passenger seat, was chatting animatedly with Fang Yuan on her phone, completely unaware that Jiang Cheng had changed directions.

Zhou Ying was tapping away at the keyboard with her little mouth pouting while she turned her head to say to Jiang Cheng, "darling, ever since my mom started working at your company, she's been so concerned about you. She asks about you every few days."

Hearing Zhou Ying mention Fang Yuan, Jiang Cheng's eyes flickered for a moment.

He hadn't realized Fang Yuan was paying so much attention to him. It seemed he had given her too little attention lately.

Jiang Cheng said with a serious face, "It's my fault. Although we acquired Company Name, there have been reforms and upgrades, so it should be quite busy during this time. I imagine Auntie must be quite tired working there. I've been negligent; I'll make more time to properly care for her in the future."

Zhou Ying didn't catch the deeper meaning in Jiang Cheng's words and instead replied with a smile, "No need. Being busy is good; she's very happy every day. Since I'm not by her side, she'd be bored otherwise. I'm relieved she has something to do."

As soon as she finished speaking, Zhou Ying added, "I heard my aunt and uncle got divorced. Recently, my mom saw my aunt with another man."

Jiang Cheng couldn't help but frown upon hearing this, surprised, "So fast?"

"I think it's ridiculous too. It's only been how long? I don't know if it's true or not..."

While they were talking, the five-kilometer journey passed in an instant.

As expected of Steinway, when Jiang Cheng parked the car steadily in the side parking lot, he was surprised to find several bentleys and a dazzling rolls-royce parked nearby.

Seeing that the place Jiang Cheng parked wasn't a residential area, Zhou Ying couldn't help but feel confused and asked, "Why are we parking here?"

"To buy a piano, of course."

Zhou Ying showed a look of surprise and turned her gaze toward Jiang Cheng.

It wasn't until she saw the grand entrance of Steinway that Zhou Ying snapped out of it as if waking from a dream: "Coming to Steinway to buy a piano? Their pianos are famously expensive. When I was learning piano as a child, my family bought me one. Back then, my mom was always nagging that the piano cost over a million and that I had to study hard. But at that time, I didn't know how to cherish it at all. To me, it was just a piano. It was only after I grew up that I realized many people can't even earn over a million in their entire lives."

A hint of sentimentality and regret seeped into Zhou Ying's voice.

Jiang Cheng gently scraped Zhou Ying's nose and said with a smile, "With me, you won't have to worry about money in the future."

Hearing this, Zhou Ying looked at Jiang Cheng sweetly.

Before the two had even stepped into the store, a receptionist came out from inside with an incredibly warm smile, eagerly welcoming Jiang Cheng and Zhou Ying: "Welcome to Steinway! Please come inside, you two."

After entering the Steinway Piano Hall, they found the layout to be unique, somewhat similar to a small and exquisite furniture showroom.

They had expected to see a dozen pianos lined up for customers to choose from, but in reality, each piano was cleverly placed in various corners—either at a turn, by a corner, or even one standing alone in the center of the spacious hall.

Seeing that Jiang Cheng and Zhou Ying were dressed extraordinarily and exuded an elegant temperament in their speech and behavior, the receptionist dared not be negligent and hurried forward to lead them on a tour.

The receptionist also introduced the brand history and cultural heritage of Steinway in detail, while explaining the layout of the store's displays.
