Chapter 785 - The Yin-Yang Contract

"How else would you look? Are you stupid?"

"Stop twisting like that; that posture is ugly." Su Wan pushed Jiang Cheng's hands away as she spoke.

But her two hands were no match for one of his; Jiang Cheng caught both in a single grip.

"What's ugly about this pose? I'm telling you, it's way more eye-catching than crossing your legs—this way I can see everything clearly."

With that, Jiang Cheng even craned his head forward over Su Wan's shoulder and peered toward the bedsheet.

"Eek—stop it, don't look..."

...An hour later, under Su Wan's rolling eyes, Jiang Cheng sat up comfortably, picked up his phone, and started checking messages.

He saw that early that morning Wang Congcong had already sent him the day's hot search from Social Media Platform.

"As filming for [Telephone 2] officially began, Li Yong suddenly posted an article fiercely denouncing Feng Gan as unfit to be called human."

"Fan Shuishui also updated her feed, saying she was thrilled that [Telephone 2] had started shooting and claiming the lead-actress spot as hers."

"The plot took a sharp turn: Li Yong released another post accusing Fan Shuishui of signing a yin-yang contract and declared he holds evidence of tax-evasion contracts involving most of Company's stars and directors."

In just one night, the matter Jiang Cheng had set in motion had spread like wildfire and stirred up a storm.

Seeing how efficiently the Security Team handled things, Jiang Cheng felt deeply satisfied.

After reading everything, he sent a reply.

"Next, they'll pull every string they can to hush this up—maybe even make Fan Shuishui take the fall alone."

Wang Congcong: "No chance. Early this morning I already sent people to report the case in Chaoyang District, Kyoto; the authorities should step in soon."

Jiang Cheng: "Then I'll sit back and enjoy your show."

Wang Congcong: "I'm just the support. I knew last night Feng Gan was in for it—sure enough, it all blew up fast."

Jiang Cheng: "Still, watch out—Li Yong has pull in Kyoto; he might muddy the waters."

Wang Congcong: "I'll give Dad a heads-up in a bit."

After tidying herself up, Su Wan patted her clothes and walked to the bed.

After so much contact and conversation with Jiang Cheng, she no longer felt the stiff unfamiliarity she once had.

Su Wan naturally climbed onto the bed, lifted Jiang Cheng's arm, lay down beside him, and rested her head on his broad chest.

Once she found a comfortable spot, she half-closed her eyes.

She didn't even glance at his phone, her whole body exuding languid ease.

"Weren't you scared stiff just now? How come you're taking the initiative so soon?" Jiang Cheng asked with a teasing smile.

Su Wan pouted lightly. "It's different now! Anyway, I bet you don't have the strength to move anymore."

Jiang Cheng couldn't help laughing. "What if I still can?"

The moment the words left his mouth, his hand zeroed in like a homing device.

Su Wan couldn't stifle a soft moan.

"Hmph... impossible. Everyone says the third time is a man's limit, and you've already passed that—there's no way you have any energy left!"

With that, she nestled tighter against him, savoring his warmth and the force of his presence.

A heady atmosphere filled the room, their heartbeats weaving together into a sweet, silent melody.

"Nothing's impossible; it's only a matter of wanting to."

What was impossible for others was mere child's play for Jiang Cheng.

When she saw the curve of his smile, Su Wan's face paled; her relaxed body began to squirm frantically.

The instant she moved, Jiang Cheng pressed her firmly back in place.
