Chapter 1106 - A Girl Changes Eighteen Times

For the vast majority of wealthy tycoons, they either can't wait to consolidate family power and wealth through marriage at the appropriate age.

Or they delay until middle age before beginning to prepare for the task of producing the next generation.

After years of weathering storms and struggling in both the business world and the arena of love.

Most tycoons often eventually choose to marry a charming wife over a decade younger than themselves to carry on the family line.

The reason is simple: after so many years, what type haven't they played with?

In the end, most are pretty much the same.

As they age, the physical constitution of these tycoons inevitably deteriorates.

Their physical health declines, so at this time, they seek to combine with a partner who possesses young, high-quality genes and vibrant cells to ensure the family bloodline continues indefinitely.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this choice.

By the time Annie reaches adulthood, Jiang Cheng will still be under thirty.

From an age perspective, the two would actually be quite a match.

However, this kind of nurturing relationship carries a certain degree of risk and uncertainty.

After all, people often say, "A girl changes eighteen times as she grows up."

Most girls might go through an inconspicuous stage like an ugly duckling when they are young.

But over time, they often gradually transform during the growth process, eventually becoming stunningly beautiful white swans.

But right now, Annie doesn't look like an ugly duckling at all.

Instead, she looks like a soft and cute doll.

So, this actually carries some risk.

After all, Annie is already very pretty; if her looks decline in the future, then... He dispelled all the messy and complex thoughts from his mind.

He reached out and gently pinched Annie's porcelain-like cheek, asking softly, "What are you and your mother looking at over there?"

Annie blinked her big, watery eyes and replied excitedly, "I just saw so many pretty koi fish there! And a few super big turtles! It's so fun watching them swim around!"

"I'm looking at the koi and turtles, come over and see with me."

Jiang Cheng handed his phone to Qiao Yinyin. "I ran into a friend; I'm going to say hello to her mother. I think the scenery over there is quite suitable for photos, so you two go ahead and take some first."

Qiao Yinyin nodded very obediently, her eyes clear and simple, seemingly not overthinking it.

Immediately after, she unhesitatingly grabbed the hand of play on words beside her and walked in another direction.

Perhaps at first, she felt a bit surprised when An Xin suddenly smiled at Jiang Cheng.

After all, not only was An Xin stunningly beautiful, capable of toppling cities and nations, but she also exuded an innate noble aura.

This nobility made her seem as if she carried a dazzling halo, making it difficult to ignore her.

If an ordinary girl stood beside An Xin, she would surely feel a strong sense of pressure.

This pressure didn't come from intentional showing off or making things difficult, but from An Xin's own charm and presence.

Facing such an outstanding woman, many girls would unconsciously feel a sense of inferiority.

Although Qiao Yinyin felt that in terms of looks, she might not necessarily lose to her.

But if she stood by her side, she feared she would be overshadowed by that invisible pressure.

Fortunately, such an excellent woman already had a child, which somewhat put Qiao Yinyin's mind at ease.

Seeing Qiao Yinyin lead Huang Yao toward the other side, while Jiang Cheng walked toward her in a few steps carrying Annie, An Xin stopped in confusion.

When her gaze fell on Qiao Yinyin, a familiar image instantly surfaced in An Xin's mind.

Wasn't that the same girl who was intimately held by Jiang Cheng as they got out of the car together at the entrance of the Peace Hotel?

Thinking of this, An Xin slightly raised an eyebrow.

It seemed Jiang Cheng was worried she might say something she shouldn't to them?

Although her expression showed surprise at this moment.

But compared to her reactions during the previous two chance encounters with Yu Xiaoxiao and Zhou Ying, she was clearly much calmer.

After all, having experienced those scenes, she was somewhat mentally prepared for such a situation.

An Xin let out a helpless chuckle, then slowly shifted her gaze away from Qiao Yinyin and toward Jiang Cheng, who was walking toward her.

Noticing that Jiang Cheng was only wearing a thin shirt under his thick wool coat, her brow furrowed involuntarily.

"Are you wearing too little?"

Jiang Cheng shook his head. "I'm not cold. Are you here to eat?"

An Xin nodded slightly and said softly.

"This child, Annie, has been clamoring about not wanting to eat at home. I just took her to the Children's Plaza to play like crazy, but when it was time to eat, she still couldn't decide what to have. So, we just wandered over here. I really didn't expect to run into you again."

Jiang Cheng pretended not to understand the teasing in An Xin's words and asked next, "The wind is strong here, why are you still standing out here?"

Seeing Jiang Cheng say this, An Xin looked at Annie and then said, "She insisted on watching the koi and turtles here. To me, they look no different from the ones at home. Maybe she's just been cooped up at home too long, so I'm just letting her look."

As soon as she finished speaking, An Xin hurriedly called out to Annie, "Annie, come down quickly. You're so heavy now; don't tire out your Brother Jiang Cheng. Let's go inside first; it's cold here."

Annie didn't seem willing to listen to her mother.

Instead, she pressed her small body even closer to Jiang Cheng, her two chubby little hands hugging him even tighter.

She hugged Jiang Cheng and said, "Mom, don't talk nonsense. I'm not heavy at all. I haven't shown Brother Jiang Cheng the turtles chasing the koi yet."

After saying that, Annie signaled for Jiang Cheng to put her down.

Then, she pulled Jiang Cheng's hand and walked toward the edge of the pond.

When they reached the edge, Annie suddenly jumped up.

"Look, Brother Jiang Cheng! Look at these two turtles stacking on top of each other!"

After saying that, Annie signaled for Jiang Cheng to put her down.

Then, she pulled Jiang Cheng's hand and walked toward the edge of the pond, hopping and skipping like a happy little rabbit.

When they reached the edge, Annie suddenly jumped up, raising her hands in fists above her head.

She shouted happily, "Look, Brother Jiang Cheng! Look at these two turtles stacking on top of each other!"

After speaking, Annie pointed at the pond, her face brimming with an excited smile and her eyes sparkling as if she had discovered some rare treasure.

Seeing Annie suddenly shout, An Xin frowned and said, "Annie, I've told you, don't always be so dramatic."
