Chapter 1318 - This Isn't the Point

"Young Master Jiang, this..." The Sales Manager hesitated for a moment before asking.

Jiang Cheng appeared quite casual. He waved his hand, interrupting the Sales Manager's words, "These few people were bullying my friend just now. I just had someone give them a little lesson; you don't need to worry about it."

Seeing Jiang Cheng so calm, the Sales Manager breathed a small sigh of relief.

Fights like this were far too common in bars, not to mention that Jiang Cheng was the kind of Second-generation rich who carried over a dozen plainclothes Bodyguards with him.

Under such circumstances, how would he dare to mind other people's business?

Once everything was handled properly, Jiang Cheng's attention returned to Qiu Yihe. "Are you alright?"

Qiu Yihe shook her head slightly, but her voice carried a clear tremor. "I... I'm fine, thank you."

Although Jiang Cheng already had a general understanding of what had happened through his Danger Perception Skill.

He still asked, "What exactly happened?"

Hearing this, Qiu Yihe spoke with some hesitation.

"Actually, while I was out walking earlier, I saw someone who looked familiar, so I followed him here. Just now, we caught some things on camera in the restroom, and they discovered us."

"Then, the big screen seemed to be thanking some Young Master Jiang and some great divine dragon. When I heard that, I subconsciously ran this way. I didn't expect so many of their accomplices to suddenly jump out..."

After hearing Qiu Yihe's words, Jiang Cheng's brain worked rapidly, quickly piecing together the sequence of events in his mind.

"The restroom?" he muttered to himself. "The men's room or the women's room?" This question seemed very important to him.

Seeing that Jiang Cheng's focus was actually on this, Qiu Yihe couldn't help but give an embarrassed dry cough and explained, "There was a reason; the situation was urgent at the time, so..."

"So you ran into the men's room to take secret photos?" Jiang Cheng interrupted her bluntly, a look of disbelief on his face.

Qiu Yihe was suddenly left speechless. She shook her head helplessly and said, "That's not the point, okay..."

However, Jiang Cheng clearly had no intention of letting her off and continued to press her.

"Then what kind of suspect was it? Why didn't you request assistance? You're handling a cross-provincial case! It's so dangerous to act alone! Even though this is Kyoto, if I hadn't appeared in time and you were forcibly dragged into a car, have you thought about the consequences?!"

Jiang Cheng's tone was filled with worry and reproach, clearly very dissatisfied with Qiu Yihe's actions.

These words came out like a barrage from a machine gun, leaving Qiu Yihe completely unable to interject.

However, without Jiang Cheng having to say more, Qiu Yihe knew very well in her heart what kind of fate she would face if she were truly caught by those people.

After all, as an Anti-drug Police Officer, once one falls into the hands of Drug dealers, no matter where they are, there is only one outcome—certain death.

Although Jiang Cheng's tone wasn't very good, seeing him so worried about her...

For some reason, a trace of joy suddenly rose in Qiu Yihe's heart.

Qiu Yihe took a deep breath, composed herself, and then explained.

"Actually, at first, I couldn't be completely sure he was the suspect; I just felt the scar on his right hand looked familiar. But clearly, this suspect is very cunning; he must have disguised his appearance. I was about to request backup when I heard their conversation, but I didn't expect so many people to suddenly jump out."
