Chapter 1448 - No, we can't close the net yet.

After those words, the woman at the side instantly understood what was going on.

Jiang Cheng had just strolled in with a girl on each arm, several Bodyguards trailing behind.

She had some impression of Jiang Cheng.

Although Jiang Cheng had no idea what mission Qiu Yihe was running, this sudden act couldn't be baseless.

He reached out and caught the hand Qiu Yihe was pounding against his chest.

"Oh, I don't believe you. Last night you were screaming so loud—did you forget? How about we continue tonight…"

Hearing this, Qiu Yihe's face exploded into crimson.

In her shyness she was even pressed to the wall by Jiang Cheng.

While shoving him she put on a bashful look and glanced at the woman beside them.

The middle-aged woman smothered a laugh, wrinkles bunching, her dentures glinting coldly under the light.

As she turned she deliberately brushed her lacquered nails across Qiu Yihe's hair, like a snake sliding past prey's neck.

Pretending not to disturb them, she walked away.

Once the woman left, Qiu Yihe immediately tried to push Jiang Cheng off.

She even rolled her eyes at him.

Seeing that, Jiang Cheng burst into a grin.

"Oh, you toss me aside the moment I'm no longer useful."

"Hmph, scumbag—let go!" she hissed.

Droplets of spilled hand-wash clung to her lashes, like tears of grievance barely held back.

Jiang Cheng raised a brow, noting her ears red to the point of bleeding, and pinned her tighter. "The audience is gone—still acting? Don't tell me you're actually jealous?"

The words stabbed like a fine needle; remembering Bai Xiaoxiao hooking his wrist, she suddenly bit her lower lip.

Right—what was she even angry about??

Realizing her own contrariness, Qiu Yihe sheepishly tucked the stray hair from her forehead.

After straightening her clothes she tilted her head, eyes sweeping the surroundings.

"I… I'll tell you tonight when we're back. Perfect timing—I need a favor."

With that she pulled Jiang Cheng into the men's restroom.

Once inside, Qiu Yihe swiftly checked every corner of the toilet.

Jiang Cheng said, "Didn't know you had this kind of hobby."

Before his words faded, crisp footsteps of leather soles on tiles echoed from the corridor.

Qiu Yihe's fingers clenched; she tilted her head to listen.

The steps paused right outside the restroom door.

Two voices speaking heavily accented thai language murmured.

One of them ground a heel over grit, producing a harsh scrape.

"Sister Liu said they're by the toilets—don't think they've left."

At that, Qiu Yihe grabbed Jiang Cheng's wrist.

In a hurry she dragged him into the innermost stall.

"Get in, quick!" She yanked Jiang Cheng inside.

The instant the door shut she fished out a tiny bug, dropped it into the toilet and flushed.

Perhaps the flush drew the outsiders' attention.

The talking outside ceased.

Jiang Cheng whispered, "Should we call for backup?"

Qiu Yihe's eyes darted, mind racing.

"No, grabbing them is useless—it's not time to close the net."

In a flash she produced a small Browning and pressed it into Jiang Cheng's hand.

"You can shoot, right?"

Truth was, Jiang Cheng couldn't.

Still, he nodded calmly.

His Danger Perception Skill had given no warning.

In the cramped stall the pungent scent of spicy mustard octopus still clung to her.

It mingled with Jiang Cheng's faint cedar perfume.

In the sealed space the mix fermented into suffocating heat.

Soon the two men entered the restroom.

Clearly, they locked the main door behind them.

The lock clicked shut.

Jiang Cheng looked down at Qiu Yihe's trembling lashes.

She was frantically tugging at her shirt buttons; the mother-of-pearl button slipped through her fingers.

The third one snapped and clattered to the floor.

Qiu Yihe whispered, "They're hunting the bug—if we don't make this look real we're both dead!"

In panic her eyes reddened; she flung her blouse wide open.

In an instant black lacy lingerie was fully exposed to Jiang Cheng's gaze.

The generous size made Jiang Cheng's eyes go straight.
