Chapter 1714 - You... You... scumbag

Jiang Cheng dodged to the side and reached out to grab her arm, but Qiu Yihe nimbly evaded him.

The two of them began to fight under the long corridor. Qiu Yihe's moves were full of tenacity, each one aimed at subduing her opponent.

It was clear at a glance that this was practical combat skill taught in a Police Academy.

Jiang Cheng dodged to the side and reached out to grab her arm, but Qiu Yihe nimbly evaded him.

The fight between the two unfolded under the corridor. For a moment, shadows of fists crossed and the wind from their kicks whistled, making the surrounding air seem to stir restlessly.

Some aunties passing by who were cleaning their homes saw this and originally wanted to come over to stop them.

However, after receiving a look from Jiang Cheng, they all quietly detoured, not daring to step forward and disturb them.

If it were his previous professional fighting skills, Jiang Cheng might have found it quite difficult to handle.

But during his recent time in Magic City, he had been practicing with Xia Li every morning.

His professional fighting skills had received real, practical application.

Although Qiu Yihe was from a Police Academy and her fighting techniques were top-notch.

But in terms of practical application, she certainly couldn't compare to Xia Li, who had years of mercenary experience.

During this time, Jiang Cheng had gained a lot of insights under Xia Li's sharp and aggressive attacks.

So now, when dealing with the erupting Qiu Yihe, he appeared to do so with ease.

While dodging, he could dismantle her moves from time to time and occasionally counterattack with room to spare.

Shadows flickered on the bluestone slabs, and the pomegranate leaves rustled.

Qiu Yihe's attacks were blocked several times in a row, and a thin layer of sweat broke out on her forehead.

The more she fought, the more anxious she became, and the force of her punches increased a bit.

However, after a dozen or so moves, the anger in her heart faded quite a bit as she vented it.

Occasionally, her eyes couldn't help but light up when Jiang Cheng parried her moves.

She felt that Jiang Cheng's parries were fast and steady.

There was a toughness in his strength that was completely different from before.

After pulling back her moves, Qiu Yihe's fingertips rubbed lightly against her palm.

Her tone carried a hint of inquiry: "Your skills are much sharper than before. It seems you've put in a lot of effort lately?"

Jiang Cheng curled his lips but before he could speak, he saw Qiu Yihe take half a step back and assume a practical combat starting stance.

Her shoulders were tense, and a clear fighting spirit filled her eyes: "Since you've been practicing, why don't we spar a bit? It's the perfect chance for me to see exactly how much you've improved."

"Sure, I like practical training the most." Jiang Cheng replied crisply, stepping forward to meet her.

This time, as soon as they clashed, there were no more feints.

Qiu Yihe's moves were ruthless and direct, every punch aimed at vital points.

Jiang Cheng had thought she hadn't held back before, but he hadn't expected her to still be in control then.

At this moment, Jiang Cheng was somewhat grateful for Xia Li's usual merciless lashing.

However, after a long struggle, Jiang Cheng took a solid punch to his lower back. He groaned and stepped back twice, rubbing his waist in pain.

It seemed that if he wanted to rely on strength to suppress her, he still needed to practice more.

Qiu Yihe pulled back her fist and smiled with a raised eyebrow: "Still a bit lacking, you couldn't maintain the force."

After saying this, Qiu Yihe threw another kick, intending to teach Jiang Cheng a good lesson.

However, just as her leg was raised, a glint of cunning flashed in Jiang Cheng's eyes.

He turned his head and shouted, "Grandpa!"

The shout was so urgent and sudden that Qiu Yihe instinctively paused.

Her mind hadn't yet processed "where did a grandpa come from."

She saw Jiang Cheng suddenly close in, grabbing her knee with one hand. Taking advantage of her momentary daze, he forcibly propped one of her legs onto his shoulder.

In the next second, Jiang Cheng exerted force with his arm and pushed forward, sending Qiu Yihe crashing toward the nearby pillar.

Her legs were forced into a split, one firmly propped on Jiang Cheng's shoulder.

Her back was against the cool stone pillar, and she froze in place for a long time.

Why didn't she move? Naturally, it was because this posture damn well made her think too much.

Wasn't this a move she had seen when watching those little movies at night??

Before she could figure out how the split overlapped with scenes from those movies, a sudden sensation between her legs made her whole body freeze.

That force carried a bit of unconscious nudging and rubbing, exactly like the feeling of falling onto his toes last time.

"You... don't..."

The remaining words were stuck in her throat. Her cheeks flushed intensely, turning red from the tips of her ears down to her neck, looking just like a shrimp freshly pulled from boiling water.

However, at this moment, she was more concerned about whether anyone had seen Jiang Cheng's actions just now.

She instinctively glanced around; the corridor was empty.

The cleaning auntie had already detoured to the backyard.

The shadows of the pomegranate tree flickered, making her heart flutter, but there wasn't a single soul in sight.

Even though she confirmed no one was watching, she still quickly covered her face, the tips of her burning ears peeking through her fingers.

"What... what are you doing..." Her voice was so low it was almost audible only to herself, tinged with a hint of reproach and shyness.

While holding her leg, the "muscle memory" in his body suddenly surfaced, and he instinctively thrust upward twice.

Doing this upward thrust and downward press, even Jiang Cheng himself felt it was absurd.

He could only repeatedly defend himself in his mind: It was subconscious! Definitely subconscious!

However, even if it was subconscious, he couldn't exactly say, "Sorry, I'm used to doing this while f*cking."

After a dry cough, Jiang Cheng changed his wording: "I practice every day just so I can pin you down like this one day."

Hearing this, Qiu Yihe turned even redder, like a large shrimp.

She suddenly raised her hand and pushed Jiang Cheng away.

"You... you... scumbag!"

Although her voice trembled and she couldn't even finish a full sentence, for some reason, Jiang Cheng's words didn't make her angry at all.

However, even though she wasn't angry, she didn't know what to say.

Pushed back half a step, Jiang Cheng looked down at his own actions and was also a bit stunned.

Like Qiu Yihe, he looked around the courtyard.

Confirming there were no outsiders, he breathed a sigh of relief.

He raised a hand and rubbed his nose.

He swore he really didn't do it on purpose.

After all, he really was used to practical training.

In her haste, Qiu Yihe began to shuffle toward the main gate with flustered steps.

Running at a trot, she spoke: "You're not allowed to follow me anymore..."

After taking a couple of steps, she felt she wasn't fast enough and simply started running.

Her skirt swept across the bluestone slabs, making a series of hurried sounds.

Only when Qiu Yihe's figure was about to turn out of the gate did Jiang Cheng compose himself and start following her at a leisurely pace.
