Chapter 1910 - The Three of Us Playing Fight the Landlord

After receiving the location photo, Jiang Cheng turned his phone screen toward the receptionist standing quietly beside him.

The exclusive butler for the business jet terminal was surnamed Zhou, in his early forties, with a crisp uniform.

The photo hadn't been closed; Chloe's picture in a Manchu Princess Outfit was right on the screen, her blonde hair and blue eyes paired with a large 'Da La Chi' headdress, smiling like a flower.

After letting him take a look, Jiang Cheng swiped past it and showed him the photo of the location again.

"This person is at the airport. Help me pick her up."

Zhou Yang took the phone with both hands, took a glance, and then immediately pushed it gently back to Jiang Cheng's hand.

"Young Master Jiang, please take a seat."

He then took two steps back, turned around, and whispered something into his earpiece.

His speech was very fast and his tone was flat.

Jiang Cheng didn't catch the content.

He only heard the last word—

"Pick up."

Wang Zheng, standing nearby, had sharp eyes and caught a glimpse of the photo on Jiang Cheng's screen.

He immediately leaned over mischievously. "Yo, Brother Cheng, who's this blonde foreign girl? Dressed like that, she's quite unique."

Qin Fen looked up and leaned in too. "Whoa, for real, a tall blonde girl doing cosplay..."

Wang Sicong raised an eyebrow, his tone carrying a hint of banter. "Damn, just how much stock do you have..."

Jiang Cheng tucked his phone back into his pocket and stood up, saying to the three of them, "Hehe, it's Chloe from back in Great Britain. We even went out together. You three old perverts surrounded her and asked about French skincare brands for half an hour. Did you forget all about it?"

Wang Zheng froze for two seconds.

"...That blonde?"

"Yeah."

"The one with the exceptionally long legs?"

"Yeah."

Wang Zheng slapped his thigh and leaned back into the sofa, his tone as complex as if he had eaten half a pound of lemons:

"Fuck. You two are still in contact."

Wang Congcong remained calm, looking down to adjust his cuffs as he spoke leisurely, "Fine, then the three of us will play Fight the Landlord on the plane later."

Qin Fen nodded, expressionless. "Yeah, just right."

"..." Wang Zheng turned to glare at him. "What are you 'yeahing' about? You think playing Fight the Landlord is great?"

Qin Fen flicked his cigarette ash. "Otherwise? Since we can't get laid, what else can we do besides play Fight the Landlord?"

"If I had known, I wouldn't have checked my Keke in. I should have brought her directly onto your plane. At least us single guys could have petted a dog..."

Jiang Cheng looked at their faces, which were as sour as could be.

Faced with the choice between his brothers being unhappy or himself being unhappy, he directly chose the former.

He spread his hands and said, "What Fight the Landlord? Do you even have Happy Beans to lose? Heh..."

Wang Zheng:... Qin Fen:... Wang Congcong:... After waiting with Zhou Yang at the VIP passage for less than a few minutes, Chloe came running out, dragging a small suitcase.

She wasn't wearing those flashy Internet Celebrity battle outfits today; it was just a simple white T-shirt, light blue jeans, and her blonde hair was tied in a casual ponytail.

Yet, surprisingly, she looked a hundred times better this way than in those princess outfits in the photos.

"Jiang Cheng—"

She saw him from a distance, her eyes instantly lighting up, and she ran even faster with her suitcase.

When she reached him, there was none of the reserved politeness of a Chinese 'long time no see.' She pounced directly into his arms and looked up at him for three seconds.

"You've lost weight." Before Jiang Cheng could speak, she proactively leaned in and kissed him several times before adding, "But you're even more handsome."

After saying that, she leaned contentedly against his shoulder, her cheek rubbing against him like a cat that had found its nest.

Amused by her series of actions, Jiang Cheng stroked her blonde hair. "When did you come to Kyoto?"

"I've been here for two days. I didn't know you were in Kyoto. If I had known, I would have come looking for you. You have no idea how much I missed you..." As Chloe said this, her slender fingers deliberately traced circles on Jiang Cheng's chest.

Feeling his chest heat up from her flirting, he reached out and grabbed Chloe's fingers, saying with hidden meaning, "Wanting another hundred thousand US dollars?"

She knew Jiang Cheng was joking.

She looked up and gazed at him seriously. "I make money from TikTok now too. I didn't come to ask you for money."

She paused, then added, "But if you want to give it to me, I won't refuse."

Jiang Cheng couldn't help but laugh out loud.

This was the vibe.

Foreigner were just direct.

Not pretentious, not awkward, and didn't play 'Thirty-Six Stratagems of push-and-pull' with you.

If she missed you, she came to find you.

If she liked money, she said she liked it, but she wouldn't conflate liking money with liking you.

"Let's go." Jiang Cheng took her suitcase. "I'll let you experience the power of the Great Eastern Dragon..."

At this, although Chloe blushed a little, she couldn't help but smile slightly.

With a hint of anticipation, she asked, "Now? Where are we going?"

"Back to Chengdu with me..." Jiang Cheng replied.

"Chengdu? Then we're taking a plane? Do I need to change my ticket?" Chloe was a bit confused.

"No need, just follow me..."

After he finished speaking, Zhou Yang, who was following behind Jiang Cheng, immediately stepped forward and proactively took Chloe's suitcase.

As he led Chloe out through the exclusive passage, he saw several black cars parked further away.

One look at these cars and you could tell they weren't ordinary government vehicles.

The passage permits on the cars were of the highest tier.

The Bodyguards standing by the doors were in plainclothes, but their posture, gaze, and alertness toward their surroundings told Jiang Cheng at a glance that they were the same type of people his Great-Grandfather had assigned to him.

Out of curiosity, he took a look and happened to see Qiu Yihe getting out of one of the cars.

Jiang Cheng's footsteps paused.

The clothes Qiu Yihe was wearing today were a bit different from usual.

A navy blue trench coat, her hair neatly done up, and just the right amount of light makeup on her face.

Also getting out of the car were Lin Chen and Lin Weiyin.

Just like Jiang Cheng, Qiu Yihe clearly hadn't expected to meet him here.

Her surprised gaze landed on Jiang Cheng, then immediately on Chloe beside him, pausing for a moment.

Chloe was currently holding Jiang Cheng's arm, her body almost hanging off it, her blonde hair fluttering gently in the wind on the tarmac.

She noticed Jiang Cheng's pause, followed his line of sight, blinked, and didn't ask "Who is that?"

She just naturally stood a bit straighter. Her arm-holding posture didn't change, but it went from 'hanging' to 'holding.'

While Qiu Yihe was staring at Chloe, Chloe was also looking at Qiu Yihe.

Three Chinese people.

A woman in a trench coat, very beautiful, but her eyes... Chloe thought for a moment, they were like her mother's eyes when she saw her father flirting with other beautiful women.

The other two, a man and a woman,

The man was young, wearing a dark coat that was so well-fitted it was flawless, with a gentle and restrained temperament.

The woman... Chloe took an extra look.

Very young, in her early twenties, wearing a moon-white qipao with a thin wool cloak over it.

She stood there quietly without saying a word, yet she looked like the kind of noble lady who had walked out of an old Chinese photograph—elegant, dignified, and very beautiful.

She didn't quite understand the specifications of those cars nearby.

But the posture of those Bodyguards was something she had seen in London.

The kind that stood in front of Buckingham Palace.

Despite his surprise, Jiang Cheng still led Chloe toward Qiu Yihe.

"Didn't you say you were going back to Shanghai yesterday?"

Seeing Jiang Cheng's natural expression, Qiu Yihe pursed her lips.

With a bit of frustration in her heart, she replied, "I was supposed to leave. But my Great-Uncle asked me to stay for an extra day."

Jiang Cheng didn't ask what matter she stayed for, but just glanced at the shuttle bus slowly approaching behind her.

He also looked at the boarding pass in her hand that she hadn't had time to put away; the visible cabin code indicated first class.

"Taking that back to Shanghai?"

Qiu Yihe nodded.
