After taking the Medicinal Pill, Lin Yaoyao suddenly felt refreshed, as if all the fatigue in her body had been swept away. She looked up at the towering Snow Lotus Peak ahead, seeing its summit covered in white snow like a silver-clad goddess, shining with a dazzling light under the sun. Clouds and mist swirled around the mountainside like a strip of white gauze dancing in the wind, as if shrouding the entire peak in a mysterious atmosphere, much like a fairyland.
"Is the thousand-year snow lotus right at the summit?" Bai Li narrowed her eyes, which were as clear as autumn waters, and whispered while looking toward the mist-shrouded peak. Her snow-white eyelashes trembled slightly in the sunlight like dancing silver butterfly wings, and the soft, snow-like white tail behind her swayed curiously from side to side, as if exploring this unknown world.
Lin Yaoyao nodded slightly, a hint of longing and solemnity flickering in her eyes. "The thousand-year snow lotus is like a noble Fairy, lying quietly atop the summit of Snow Lotus Peak." Her tone was forceful yet mixed with a trace of worry. "That place is like a purgatory of ice and snow; the climate is bone-chillingly cold, and there are powerful guardian beasts entrenched there. Plucking the thousand-year snow lotus will be no easy task." She then turned to gaze at Bai Li and Shen Mo, her eyes filled with firm trust. "We set off immediately for Snow Lotus Peak."
Bai Li and Shen Mo nodded and followed closely behind Lin Yaoyao, heading toward Snow Lotus Peak. The mountain path of Snow Lotus Peak was like a winding Dragon, rugged and uneven, covered everywhere with snow and ice, with cold air as sharp as a blade. Bai Li and Shen Mo walked as if on thin ice, following carefully behind Lin Yaoyao. Every step was like dancing on a frozen lake, for fear that a slight slip would make them a stumbling block to Lin Yaoyao's progress. The mountain path twisted and turned like a ladder to the clouds, piercing straight into the sky. The bitter cold wind was like a runaway horse galloping past, whipping up the snow on the ground to dance and swirl wildly in the air like white flood dragons, letting out deafening roars.
As the altitude increased, the surrounding temperature dropped lower and lower, and the air became thinner, making breathing somewhat difficult. The bone-chilling wind blew against their faces like knives. Both Bai Li and Shen Mo were shivering from the cold; they instinctively wrapped their clothes tighter but still could not resist the invasion of the severe cold. Bai Li exhaled a puff of white air and rubbed her frozen, red hands, her small face turning slightly purple from the cold. Shen Mo tightened her close-fitting combat attire and pushed her Spiritual Qi to the limit to form a Protective Aura to resist the cold, but she could still feel the biting chill penetrating the aura and invading her body.
Noticing Bai Li and Shen Mo's discomfort, Lin Yaoyao stopped and took out three cold-resistant cloaks from her Storage Ring. She handed them to Bai Li and Shen Mo, putting one on herself as well. The cloaks were pure white, soft, and warm, with exquisite runes embroidered on the surface that emitted faint ripples of Spiritual Qi. They could not only resist the cold but also possessed a certain degree of Defense. Bai Li took the cloak and quickly put it on, immediately feeling a warm current flow through her body, dispelling the cold and making her feel much more comfortable. Shen Mo also gratefully took the cloak and put it on, instantly feeling much warmer. She looked up at Lin Yaoyao, her eyes full of gratitude. Lin Yaoyao's attentiveness and consideration made her feel incredibly warm and at ease.
After putting on the cloaks, the three continued forward like flying birds. About an hour later, they reached the mountainside of Snow Lotus Peak. Here, the clouds and mist were dense, as if draping a mysterious veil over the peak. Visibility was extremely low, and they could only see a few meters around them. The thick mist was like white gauze curtains, concealing the surrounding scenery so it appeared only faintly, like a fairyland, looking exceptionally mysterious. The air was filled with the scent of ice and snow, mixed with a faint fragrance of plants and trees, which was as refreshing as a clear spring and smelled fresh and pleasant.
