"Oh!"
"My God, Blake Su hits a logo three as well, and this one is a clean, in-rhythm shot. That is incredible!"
"Two logo threes in a row."
"This is the Suns. This is the team on a 22-game winning streak. Who is stopping them right now?"
"Unbelievable."
"Blake Su is on another level."
In the stands, Suns fans who had been holding it in finally erupted. The moment Blake Su's logo three dropped, they threw their arms up and cheered at full volume.
"Blake Su following up Curry's logo three like that is a huge swing."
Pippen commented.
Jordan clapped as well and said, "Blake Su understands how to lead a team. He has the skill and the confidence. Right after Curry hit one, he followed it immediately.
Back-to-back logo threes like that are a major blow, especially when the Celtics had just built a ten-point lead."
That was exactly what happened.
The once roaring home crowd suddenly quieted down. Blake Su's follow-up logo three completely flipped the atmosphere.
It felt like a switch had been turned off.
The Celtics fans were left stunned, many of them frozen in place, unable to react.
"This kid is playing at a different level."
Wall watched in a daze. He understood how much momentum a shot like that could bring, but the difficulty was extremely high. Very few players would even attempt it.
Blake Su did.
Howard widened his eyes in disbelief.
"He is a center. How is his three-point shooting this accurate. This does not even make sense."
On the court.
"Beep, beep!"
Coach Doc Rivers called a timeout.
Even though the Celtics were still ahead by four, the momentum from those two logo threes, especially Blake Su's follow-up, had completely shifted the game.
Continuing under that pressure would have been unfavorable.
After the timeout, play resumed.
Celtics possession.
O'Neal backed down Frye in the low post. Though his mobility had declined, his fundamentals remained solid.
"Swish!"
A short bank shot went in.
The Celtics steadied themselves with that basket.
5 minutes and 22 seconds.
Pierce drove at Carter, attacking the rim through contact from both Carter and Blake Su. However, Blake Su's agility, vertical, and height disrupted the attempt.
"Clang!"
The layup missed.
O'Neal secured the rebound and kicked it out to Garnett on the left side. Garnett posted up Nash, used his strength to create space, and turned into a mid-range shot.
"Swish!"
Good.
Nash quickly inbounded to Blake Su, who went coast to coast, attacking the rim against Ray Allen. The height advantage was clear.
"Swish!"
The layup went in.
4 minutes and 13 seconds.
Ray Allen cut baseline and finished with a reverse layup off the glass.
Nash pushed the ball and found Blake Su cutting at the free-throw line. Blake Su faked the drive and tossed a lob.
Frye rose up.
"Boom!"
Alley-oop dunk.
2 minutes and 44 seconds.
Pierce attacked Nash in a mismatch, using pure strength. One bump, then acceleration, and he got all the way to the rim.
"Swish!"
Layup good.
Curry pushed in transition and swung it to Nash on the opposite side. With the defense not set, Nash pulled up for three.
"Clang!"
Missed.
On the rebound, O'Neal pushed Frye aside. Garnett had position, but Blake Su charged in, exploded upward, and snatched the rebound over him.
He immediately kicked it back out.
Nash got it again and did not hesitate.
"Swish!"
This time it dropped cleanly.
A direct answer.
33 seconds.
Ray Allen moved along the baseline, drawing attention. Rondo faked a pass, used Pierce's screen, and shook free from Curry, driving into the paint.
As Frye stepped up, Rondo made a convincing motion as if to pass behind his back.
Frye reacted and shifted.
But it was a fake.
Rondo continued through and finished the layup with ease.
A classic Rondo move.
Right after that, Rondo stole the ball from Curry and pushed forward.
It looked like a fast-break opportunity.
But Blake Su chased him down and stripped the ball right back.
Clean and decisive.
Final possession of the half.
Blake Su held the ball at the top, controlling the clock.
Five seconds left.
It looked like he might go for another deep three.
Instead, he lowered his stance and burst forward.
Pierce could not react in time and was beaten off the dribble.
Blake Su drove straight to the rim and finished the layup.
A simple, effective finish.
At halftime.
The Celtics led by five.
"Blake Su's impact is clear."
Hubie Brown said.
Dave Pasch nodded.
"When you look at the Celtics, all five starters are producing. O'Neal inside, Garnett in the post, Pierce creating offense, Ray Allen shooting, and Rondo organizing and defending.
Yet the Suns are still within five.
That comes down to Blake Su. He is scoring, creating, rebounding, and making defensive plays. He is keeping everything connected."
Dave Pasch exhaled lightly.
"He is playing a complete game. Not like a traditional center at all."
