Mike Breen blinked and looked at Van Gundy, as if to say, the mic is yours, the stage is yours. Blake Su's biggest hype man, begin your performance.
"Uh..."
Van Gundy said in a booming voice, "I remember it very clearly. Back in 1995, Reggie Miller was playing at Madison Square Garden against the Knicks. With 18 seconds left in the fourth quarter, the Knicks were up by 6.
"But in the final 8.9 seconds, Miller scored 8 points all by himself. In just 8.9 seconds, he erased that 6 point deficit and put his team ahead by 2.
"That miracle became known as 'Miller Time.'
"And tonight, Blake Su took his team from down 2 to up 7 in only 9 seconds. That kind of miracle is not inferior to 'Miller Time' at all.
"I don't think calling it the 'Blake Su Moment' is an exaggeration."
"That's right."
After hearing that, Mike Breen nodded repeatedly and added, "Of course, Miller did it in the final moments of the game, down 6, with everything on the line. The urgency was greater, and so was the defensive pressure.
"Miller's 8 points in 8.9 seconds required an even bigger heart and even stronger clutch shot making. That was probably more difficult.
"But Blake Su scoring 9 points in 9 seconds is still absolutely incredible. It is more than enough to leave people speechless.
"If the miracle of 8 points in 8.9 seconds is 'Miller Time,' then after tonight, the miracle of 9 points in 9 seconds is the 'Blake Su Moment'!"
On the court, the Knicks fans who had finally realized what had happened, along with Anthony, Stoudemire, and the other players, were all stunned.
"9 points in 9 seconds? What even is that?!"
Fields looked horrified, his scalp tingling.
Anthony froze, disbelief written all over his face.
Stoudemire shook his head slightly, his expression trembling with shock. "How did Blake Su do that? He... he's a center, isn't he?!"
Billups was even more stunned, his eyes nearly popping out.
"No way... okay, fine!"
"That's insane!"
"9 points in 9 seconds. Blake Su is terrifying. Is he some kind of demon?"
"This rookie is ridiculously strong!"
Throughout the entire break, the fans kept shaking their heads, still trapped in that unbelievable shock.

The final quarter began with the bench rotations.
Mike Breen said, "In the last minute of the half, Blake Su scored 9 points in just 9 seconds, bringing his total for that stretch to 18 points and giving him 31 points overall.
"On top of that, Blake Su also has 8 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks.
"Now we wait to see what kind of spectacular performance he gives us in the closing moments of the fourth quarter."
On the court, after 4 minutes and 13 seconds of rotation play, the gap was still 7 points.
The starters returned.
"Swish!"
Blake Su launched a three and buried it cleanly.
The lead was now 10.
The decisive stretch had arrived, and the moment Blake Su came back in, he used a three pointer to push the lead into double digits and put pressure on the Knicks.
"Whoosh!"
Anthony attacked George off the dribble. Curry came over to help from the side, but Anthony, desperate to score, had no intention of passing. He forced his way through both defenders and went up hard.
"Clang!"
The layup hit the backboard and missed.
In transition, Nash came down the floor and faked a pass to Curry, but in reality, he found Blake Su trailing behind him. Blake Su caught the ball and immediately pulled up for another transition three.
"Swish!"
Smooth and decisive.
It pierced the net again.
On the Knicks' end, Stoudemire faced Blake Su in the low post and forced his attack without hesitation. Under Blake Su's contest, his layup also missed.
Possession changed again.
"Smack!"
At the left high post, Blake Su held the ball with his back to Anthony, preparing to back him down. Billups came over to double team, and Blake Su faked a pass to Curry.
That was enough to draw Billups away.
"Bang, bang, bang!"
Blake Su backed Anthony down again and again. As he read the defense, he turned and released a fadeaway jumper.
"Swish!"
Good.
On the very next possession, Blake Su once again posted Anthony up at the left high post. When Billups tried to come over for another double team, Blake Su immediately passed to Curry at the top of the arc.
"Whoosh!"
"Swish!"
Curry raised his hand and drilled the three.
The Knicks were clearly behind, yet Stoudemire and Anthony kept missing. Meanwhile, the Suns, already up by 10, had Blake Su and Curry hitting shot after shot.
Back and forth, the Knicks not only failed to close the gap, they watched it grow wider and wider.
By the time there were 3 minutes and 14 seconds left, the deficit had ballooned to 17.
"Whoosh!"
Facing another double team, Blake Su once again found George waiting in the corner. George caught the ball and fired a three of his own.
Would it go?
"Swish!"
It did.
Even George, who had been focused on defense and had gone 0 for 4 from three before this, hit one. With the entire Suns lineup firing, the 20 point gap officially signaled the Knicks' complete collapse.
"Beep, beep!"
Seeing that a comeback was hopeless, D'Antoni simply called a timeout, swapped out all five players, and conceded the game.
The Suns followed by calling a timeout of their own, politely taking Blake Su, Curry, and the rest of their starters off the floor, turning the rest of the game into full garbage time.
This nationally televised showdown between the Knicks and the Suns ultimately ended in garbage time.

Van Gundy glanced at the score and the lineups on the court, then said, "Well... there shouldn't be any surprises now. The Suns have taken this game.
"Blake Su, Curry, Stoudemire, and Anthony won't be coming back in.
"Stoudemire had 26 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Anthony had 28 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists. The 'Stat-Melo' duo still put up very impressive individual numbers tonight.
"As for the Suns, Curry hit 6 threes and finished with 27 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.
"But the key to the Suns' win tonight, and the only MVP level player in this game, was still Blake Su. He dropped 43 points, 13 rebounds, 10 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks, posting a 40+ triple double and creating the 'Blake Su Moment.'
"Rookie Blake Su crushed the 'Stat-Melo' duo!"
"Exactly."
Mike Breen nodded and added, "Another high scoring triple double. For Blake Su, a center, to put up such an all around performance is truly rare.
"He is a generation changing center.
"But aside from Blake Su's brilliant performance, the Suns' other two rookies, Curry and George, were also outstanding tonight.
"Tonight, Blake Su, Curry, and George helped the team go from down 13 to up 20.
"The performances of these three rookies have shown the entire league that the Suns, the strongest dark horse to rise out of nowhere, are not only powerful, but also full of new blood and youthful energy.
"The Suns are shining with blinding light right now, and their future is limitless!"
"Well said!"
Van Gundy clapped in praise.
Mike Breen smiled, then returned to the main point and asked, "Jeff, the Knicks really are a strong team right now. Tonight, they led by as many as 13 points.
"But in the end, they collapsed and lost by a massive 20 point margin.
