Prince Rain returned to his wing, but he could feel his brother's murderous gaze following him until his back disappeared behind the corner. Everything had worked in his favor, but something still did not add up. Rain remembered vividly: Kelvin had almost taken advantage of him, if not for the mysterious man who had barged in.
"My apologies, my prince."
Those words rang in his head, but he couldn't put a face to them. Throughout his life, he had met a good number of people, but very few regarded him with respect, and even fewer would go to the extent of saving him. Rain was even more determined to find the mysterious man.
Two days, and he would be in Moonfang, and everything was almost ready. Within the crown prince's wing, two guards knelt before him.
"We ride by dawn," Rain announced.
The guards glanced at each other, a little skeptical.
