Rain stared down at the little velvet box. It held two beautifully made golden wedding rings, the kind that is only befitting for kings. A low chuckle escaped his lips, and for the longest time, one teardrop rolled down his left cheek. This was the life he was born into. His first gift from his father had to be a wedding ring with strings.
