Alpha Cealan smiled like the devil who had already picked his next victim. He didn't need a lecture to know who was behind such a despicable act, not when he had dealt with such in the past and knew just how best to bring it to light. So, as expected, he smiled, nodded, and handed back the documents.
"Good," he whispered, his voice carefully softened for the occasion. "This is standard procedure and if everyone should be like you...we will have less work."
The representatives nodded with a smile.
"You flatter us, Alpha," they chorused, and Cealan nodded as he should.
As they left, Erock turned to Cealan.
"They aren't clean, Alpha," he whispered, but Cealan already knew that. So he just waved a hand.
"I want all the files turned to closed cases, and nothing should be spoken of it."
