Third person
The night grew progressively darker around the cold estate of General Kain Mor. His daughter had long left, but he could not bring himself to sleep. Twenty years had passed since he stayed up this late, just watching the kingdom map before him as if expecting a sudden ambush. Just like the night twenty years ago, this one too was quiet and calm... too calm for comfort. Only his heavy breathing provided extra noise to the cold room. The dim candlelight by the corner flickered a little but did not turn off.
His gaze shifted to the door, and just then a gentle knock echoed from outside.
"Come in," General Kain Mor answered, his voice calm with a little crack that wasn't so noticeable.
The door creaked open, and a slim figure stepped in. He was dressed in all black, with a hood and mask covering every part of his face, leaving only his eyes bare.
The young man quickly knelt silently, his eyes not leaving the general, who appeared to be a little stiff.
