(Keifer's POV)
Chaos.
Absolute chaos.
That was the only way to describe what was happening inside the Watson Mansion.
Music blasting.
People shouting.
Felix and Blaster arguing about snack architecture like it was a serious engineering project.
Ci N narrating everything like a sports commentator.
Eman filming the disaster.
Denzel dancing in the living room.
Calix and Eran still debating pizza toppings like it was a political debate.
And somehow…
My mansion had become a snack battlefield.
Blaster slammed a huge bag of chips onto the table.
Blaster:
"THE FOUNDATION!"
Felix stacked chocolate bars.
Felix:
"STRUCTURAL SUPPORT!"
Ci N pointed dramatically.
Ci N:
"THE SNACK TOWER RISES."
Keiren ran into the room carrying three more snack bags.
His hair messy.
Energy level: infinite.
Keiren:
"I GOT MORE!"
Blaster cheered.
Blaster:
"THE LEGEND RETURNS!"
Then the kitchen door opened.
And the moment Jay saw the snacks…
Her eyes widened.
Jay:
"…snacks."
Before I could even react—
She ran.
Actually ran.
Straight toward the snack table like someone who had been deprived for years.
Jay:
"MOVE!"
Blaster jumped aside.
Felix laughed.
Felix:
"THE QUEEN HAS ARRIVED."
Jay grabbed a bag of chips instantly.
Jay:
"I claim this."
Keiren cheered.
Keiren:
"TEAM SNACKS!"
Keigen walked over calmly and grabbed a drink.
Keigen:
"This house is insane."
Jay opened the chips dramatically.
Jay:
"Victory snacks."
Blaster nodded proudly.
Blaster:
"Correct."
Then Keiren jumped beside Jay.
Keiren:
"Jay Jay!"
Jay turned to him.
Jay:
"Yes chaos child?"
Keiren grinned.
Keiren:
"Help us build the snack tower."
Jay gasped dramatically.
Jay:
"Why wasn't I invited earlier."
Felix pointed at the table.
Felix:
"You are now."
Jay immediately joined them.
Within seconds…
She was standing with Keiren and Blaster stacking snacks like professional architects.
Jay:
"No no no."
She moved a chocolate bar.
Jay:
"That goes here."
Keiren nodded seriously.
Keiren:
"Smart."
Blaster pointed at Felix.
Blaster:
"See? She understands."
Felix rolled his eyes.
Felix:
"It's a snack tower, not a skyscraper."
Jay grabbed another bag and placed it perfectly.
Jay:
"Balance."
Keiren looked impressed.
Keiren:
"You're good at this."
Jay smirked.
Jay:
"I'm good at everything."
The room laughed.
Meanwhile…
I stood near the kitchen counter watching everything.
Quietly.
And somehow…
My attention wasn't on the chaos.
It was on her.
Jay Jay.
Standing there laughing with Keiren.
Helping him stack snacks.
Teasing him when he almost knocked the tower over.
Jay:
"Careful."
Keiren:
"I got it!"
Jay:
"No you don't."
She grabbed the falling bag just in time.
Keiren gasped dramatically.
Keiren:
"YOU SAVED IT."
Jay grinned.
Jay:
"Of course I did."
Keigen watched them with a small smile.
Keigen:
"You're good with him."
Jay shrugged.
Jay:
"He's fun."
Keiren suddenly hugged her waist dramatically.
Keiren:
"Jay Jay is cool."
She laughed and ruffled his hair.
Jay:
"Obviously."
And for a moment…
Something inside my chest shifted.
Because I noticed something.
Something I had never really thought about before.
My brothers were laughing.
Relaxed.
Comfortable.
Happy.
Keiren was clinging to Jay like she had always been there.
And Keigen…
Even Keigen looked calmer around her.
They never had that before.
A mother.
Warmth.
Care.
Someone who looked at them with affection instead of responsibility.
After our mother died…
The mansion had always been quiet.
Too quiet.
But now?
Jay had walked into this house…
And suddenly everything felt different.
Lighter.
Warmer.
Alive.
Keiren tugged her sleeve.
Keiren:
"Jay Jay look!"
The snack tower wobbled dangerously.
Jay grabbed it quickly.
Jay:
"DON'T TOUCH IT."
Blaster panicked.
Blaster:
"STABILIZE!"
Felix laughed loudly.
Felix:
"This is ridiculous."
Jay carefully adjusted the tower again.
Jay:
"There."
Keiren stared at her like she had just performed magic.
Keiren:
"You're amazing."
Jay smiled softly.
Jay:
"I know."
And watching that moment…
I found myself smirking.
Because a very dangerous thought crossed my mind.
Jay Jay Mariano.
Running around my house.
Laughing with my brothers.
Protecting them.
Caring for them.
She fit here.
Too well.
And suddenly another thought appeared.
One that made my smirk grow wider.
She's going to be an amazing mother.
Then my brain added something even more dangerous.
The mother of our children.
I blinked.
Okay.
That thought came out of nowhere.
But strangely…
It didn't feel wrong.
In fact…
Watching Jay laugh with Keiren…
It felt incredibly right.
I shook my head slightly.
Trying to stop the thought before it went any further.
Meanwhile across the room…
Jay suddenly grabbed another bag of chips.
Jay:
"Victory snack."
Keiren copied her instantly.
Keiren:
"Victory snack!"
Blaster shouted.
Blaster:
"EVERYONE TAKE ONE."
Felix sighed.
Felix:
"This is the dumbest celebration."
But even he grabbed a snack.
And as the mansion filled with laughter, noise, and complete nonsense…
I realized something.
For the first time in years…
This house didn't feel empty anymore.
Because somehow…
Jay had turned the Watson Mansion into a home.
