Chapter 39 - Confession

The morning wind in the Zephyros Kingdom had calmed down, but tension in Luna started rising. The frigid knives of air turned into a gentle, cool breeze.

Luna Zephyros walked down the busy cobblestone pathways of the capital city. He had his hands shoved into his pockets as usual. He wore his loose black training clothes, looking like a guy who desperately wanted to take a long nap.

Walking right beside him was Soltheia Sylphyros. She was shimmering in the morning light. Her ocean-blue traveling cloak fluttered wavy in the wind. She looked around at the market stalls with wide, excited eyes.

"You seriously need to walk faster, Luna," Soltheia said, suddenly turning around to face him. She walked backward just to tease him. "You move exactly like a tired old man."

"I am actively saving my physical energy," Luna replied gently, letting out a loud yawn, "walking fast is a complete waste of stamina. The market isn't going anywhere. It has been sitting on this street for many years."
