A vein bulged on Sakura Haruno's forehead as she leaned forward and pressed her forehead against Ino Yamanaka's with an angry smile and said.
"Ino Pig, our Team 7 is about to start a mission. Besides, we haven't been idle recently. We completed the tree-climbing training Teacher Renji gave us."
Just a mere Ino Pig.
A vein also appeared on Ino Yamanaka's forehead as she smiled sweetly but replied angrily, "Oh really? Even you, Wide-forehead, have started working hard too."
Just a mere Wide-forehead.
Although she did not understand what tree-climbing training involved, she knew Sakura had been working hard.
"Ino Pig!"
"Wide-forehead!"
Sakura Haruno and Ino Yamanaka grabbed each other's hands tightly as if competing in strength.
Akimichi Choji continued eating potato chips while watching them argue and said casually, "You two get along really well."
Sakura Haruno and Ino Yamanaka both turned and shouted angrily, "Who wants to get along with her!"
Nara Shikamaru scratched his ear lazily and said, "Women are so troublesome."
Akimichi Choji asked curiously, "Teacher Asuma, what is tree climbing?"
"It's Chakra control training and a required course for Genin," Asuma Sarutobi replied as he took another drag from his cigarette and exhaled slowly.
He then looked deeply at Renji and continued, "I didn't expect Team 7 to learn tree climbing so quickly. It seems you've been teaching them seriously."
He originally thought Renji had been rejecting D-rank missions simply because he wanted to be lazy.
But he never expected Renji was actually training Team 7 first to improve their overall strength and prevent mission failures.
Instead of rushing into missions immediately, he strengthened their foundation first.
That approach would improve teamwork and ensure higher mission success rates.
It really suited Renji's style.
Although Renji was willful, once he decided to do something, he always did it thoroughly.
Asuma Sarutobi felt complicated emotions rise in his heart as he sighed quietly.
Why didn't I think of this teaching method earlier?
As expected of Renji.

It should be said, as expected of the man Kurenai Yuhi fell for.
Asuma Sarutobi exhaled smoke slowly and said bitterly, "As expected of you."
"Is that so? That's normal. After all, I'm a genius," Renji replied casually.
He felt Asuma had misunderstood something again, but he had no interest in explaining.
Whether it was Yūgao Uzuki earlier or Asuma Sarutobi now, they both kept reaching their own conclusions and saying the same thing.

"Anyway, see you next time. We still have to find that stupid cat," Renji said dismissively before lifting Sakura Haruno, who was still competing with Ino Yamanaka, and carrying her away.
"I understand your affection, but you two lovebirds should pay attention to the occasion."
"Who wants to be affectionate with Ino Pig!"
"Who wants to be affectionate with Wide-forehead!"
Sakura Haruno and Ino Yamanaka shouted at the same time.
"Troublesome stinky brat," Renji muttered as he carried Sakura Haruno away.
Sakura Haruno looked back at Ino Yamanaka and stuck out her tongue, "Blegh!"
"Wide-forehead!" Ino Yamanaka also stuck out her tongue, but then her lips curled slightly upward.
Wide-forehead really is working hard.
"Wait for me, Sakura-chan!" Naruto shouted as he hurried after them.
"Hmph," Sasuke snorted as he glanced indifferently at Team Ten before following Renji.
Asuma Sarutobi watched Renji's retreating figure and sighed bitterly.
No wonder Kurenai Yuhi appreciated Renji.
Who could refuse a man who was both strong and intelligent?
Although Kurenai Yuhi often got angry at Renji's teasing, she did not seem to dislike him.
Sure enough, honest people really have no market.
Shikamaru yawned and said lazily, "What a bother. Let's go eat yakiniku after the mission."
Ino Yamanaka cheered happily, "Eh, is Teacher Asuma treating us? That's great!"
Asuma Sarutobi took out his wallet, looked at the small amount of money left inside, and said helplessly.
"Treating you is fine, but don't eat too much. Be careful not to get fat..."
He stopped mid-sentence after noticing Akimichi Choji's furious beast-like glare.
With Choji around, the word fat was absolutely forbidden.
