"As I thought!"
Sora felt a surge of joy after hearing Tsunade's explanation.
The past three years of brutal training had been worth it. Without that foundation, his future on the ninja path would have been severely limited.
Suppressing his excitement, he continued refining Chakra.
Now the advantages of a strong body and powerful spirit became obvious.
Years of disciplined training had given him exceptional control and coordination.
Strands of blue Chakra were continuously extracted from every cell in his body, merging with his spiritual energy and flowing into his meridians.
Little by little, the Chakra gathered.
Soon, a faint blue glow circulated smoothly throughout his entire network.
"So hungry…"
Sora opened his eyes, feeling a level of hunger even worse than when he had starved in his previous life.
"Drink this."
Tsunade handed him a test tube filled with green liquid.
Without hesitation, Sora drank it.
Warmth spread instantly from his stomach, flowing through his limbs. The weakness from excessive Chakra extraction faded at an astonishing rate.
"Chakra is created by extracting physical energy from your cells and combining it with spiritual energy," Tsunade explained.
"During your first refinement, you consumed a massive amount of physical energy. Of course you're starving. This is a nutrient solution I formulated. The nutrition in one tube is equivalent to eating an entire tiger.
With your current physique, you can't digest that much at once. So I refined it to remain latent in your body. When needed, it will activate instead of being wasted."
Tsunade watched him quietly.
He hadn't questioned her.
He hadn't hesitated.
That silent trust stirred something warm in her heart.
She remembered the infant with emotionless eyes. Now, that same child trusted her completely.
Her years of effort hadn't been in vain.
"No wonder…" Sora muttered.
He finally understood why powerful ninja consumed enormous amounts of food and constantly took missions.
Even maintaining Chakra required tremendous resources.
Fortunately, he had Tsunade.
This truly was an era of relying on one's mother.
Without her, even food expenses alone would crush him.
"Continue," Tsunade said.
"From today onward, refining Chakra is mandatory daily training. Physical training cannot stop. And you must engage in actual combat to convert your cultivation into real fighting power."
"Who's my opponent?" Sora glanced between Tsunade and Shizune.
He wasn't ignorant of power levels.
Tsunade was a Kage-level expert. Her Monster Strength Fist could seriously injure or kill with a single hit.
Shizune was at least a Jonin. One move would be enough to defeat him.
"You don't need to worry about that," Tsunade replied casually. "Fail to complete my task, and you'll understand punishment."
She then pulled out a piece of Chakra Induction Paper.
"Inject your Chakra into it."
Sora's heart stirred.
This was his first official Chakra attribute test.
Carefully guiding the newly refined Chakra, he infused it into the paper.
The effect was immediate.
One half of the paper became soaked with water.
The other half ignited and burned away.
"Water and Fire in one body… that's rare," Tsunade said, genuinely surprised.
"Aren't Water Release and Fire Release common?" Sora asked calmly.
"They are common separately," Tsunade replied. "But Water and Fire counter each other. It's rare to possess both attributes so purely in one body.
If you had a third attribute to mediate between them, it would be normal. But Water and Fire alone are naturally incompatible."
She folded her arms.
"Using Combination ninjutsu will be troublesome for you."
Sora wasn't discouraged.
"It doesn't matter. Your grandfather dominated the world with Water Release alone. Even if my Fire Release and Water Release can't combine, individually they're enough.
And just because others can't make them cooperate doesn't mean I can't."
His voice was calm, but filled with confidence.
Following Tsunade for years had given him something invaluable:
Belief.
Just because something hadn't been done didn't mean it was impossible.
Tsunade looked at him in mild astonishment.
Even Senju Hashirama hadn't made pure Water and Fire cooperate without mediation.
But she didn't crush his confidence.
"Good. Keep that attitude. Continue."
From that day forward, Sora's training expanded.
Refining Chakra.
Perfecting control.
Tsunade, as a medical ninjutsu master, emphasized precision above all else. The finer the control, the greater the power output with minimal waste.
Chakra was the source of a ninja's strength.
A true expert never wasted it.
Since Sora's Chakra reserves were still small, he trained control at this early stage. Starting small allowed for faster mastery.
Under a large tree, Sora sprinted forward.
If one could observe inside his body, they would see Chakra flowing rapidly toward his feet.
At the base of the tree, he leapt.
His foot pressed against the trunk.
Instead of falling—
He stuck.
His body formed a ninety-degree angle with the tree, yet he didn't slide down.
He ran upward as if on level ground.
Reaching the top, he pivoted smoothly and ran back down before landing lightly on the ground.
"Phew… I did it."
It had taken him several days to master basic tree-climbing using Chakra.
His Chakra reserves were small, but control was precise.
And this—
Was only the beginning.
