Sora did not show the slightest weakness.
Although the destructive power of tailed beasts was terrifying, even the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox had once been defeated by true experts.
This proved that while tailed beasts were powerful, they were not invincible.
A tailed beast like Shukaku, even when unleashed without restraint, could still be resisted—or even defeated—by a powerful Kage-level expert if that expert fought with their full strength.
However, Gaara's presence acted as a restraint.

A water dragon soared into the sky and collided violently with the Drill Air Bullet.

The collision exploded into a massive storm that swept through the surrounding forest.
"What kind of battle is this?" Sasuke stared with wide eyes.
This was no longer a battle between humans.
It was a clash between monsters.
"They even used that move…" Temari muttered in horror. "It's impossible. No matter how strong he is, he cannot defeat that thing."
"Hahaha!" Shukaku roared with laughter. "You can block it?"
"Wind Release: Drill Air Bullet!"
Shukaku repeatedly fired powerful wind spheres toward Sora.
It seemed endless.
If the fight continued like this, Sora's chakra would eventually run dry.
"Water Release: Water Dragon's Rage Howl!"
A rapidly spinning Water Dragon Spear condensed in Sora's palm before he hurled it forward with tremendous force.
With a tearing sound, the spear transformed into a massive waterspout that intercepted all the incoming wind bullets before exploding into enormous tidal waves that surged toward Shukaku.
"You think you can hurt me? You're courting death!" Shukaku roared.
It ran forward while continuously firing Drill Air Bullets.
The powerful Wind Nature Transformation mixed within the attacks dispersed the tidal waves.
There was simply too much chakra involved.
Against a tailed beast, raw chakra quantity was an overwhelming advantage.
"Tailed beasts are capable of something even more terrifying," Sora thought.
"Tailed Beast Balls."
Those attacks possessed the power to destroy mountains—or even multiple mountains.
At the moment, Shukaku was only using chakra cannons, the Drill Air Bullets formed through Wind Nature Transformation.
Yet even those were already incredibly destructive.
If it decided to use a Tailed Beast Ball, things would become far more troublesome.
Shukaku seemed to be enjoying itself.
After being sealed for so long, it clearly wanted to indulge in a prolonged battle.
Using a Tailed Beast Ball immediately would end the fight too quickly.
To Shukaku, the Drill Air Bullet was more than enough to toy with Sora.
"This time, I really have to use all my trump cards."
Sora took a deep breath.
His eyes turned crimson.
"Rampage."
The state activated to its maximum.
In a flash, Sora appeared more than a hundred meters away, weaving through the barrage of Drill Air Bullets while rushing toward Shukaku at astonishing speed.
"You want to get close to me?" Shukaku laughed wildly. "Do you think that's possible?"
It opened its mouth and exhaled a massive hurricane.
The violent wind swept across more than a kilometer, immediately suppressing Sora's movement and drastically slowing his speed.
Shukaku seized the opportunity.
"I'll kill you!"
A Drill Air Bullet shot forward.
Boom!
The attack struck Sora directly.
With a thunderous explosion, an area fifty to sixty meters wide was reduced to ruins.
"Sora!" Naruto shouted anxiously.
Although they did not share much friendship, Naruto still regarded Sora as an important rival.
He had not defeated him yet.
How could this guy die now?
"Water Release: Water Formation Wall."
From within the smoke and debris, a massive wall of water rose up, barely blocking the Drill Air Bullet.
"Shukaku's attack power is terrifying," Sora muttered as he exhaled slowly.
"Even my Water Formation Wall, enhanced by my mastery of Water Nature Transformation, can barely defend against one of its casual attacks."
"Hahaha! You're still alive?" Shukaku laughed again, a playful glint appearing in its eyes.
It had been sealed for far too long.
Now that it was finally free, it wanted to enjoy itself.
To Shukaku, Sora was an excellent toy.
Killing him immediately would be boring.
Of course, if he died to a single Drill Air Bullet, that would simply mean he was too weak.
That was Shukaku's current mindset.
"Wind Release: Drill Air Bullet!"
This time, the attack was different.
Shukaku's belly expanded dramatically, becoming almost twice its original size.
Then it slapped its belly.
Boom!
Six Drill Air Bullets were fired simultaneously.
Each one carried destructive power comparable to an S-Rank secret technique.
In terms of sheer destructive range, they even surpassed some S-Rank techniques used by humans.
After all, the chakra reserves of a tailed beast were incomparable to those of humans.

Sora roared.
A pillar of crimson light erupted around him.
The blood-colored barrier blocked the incoming Drill Air Bullets before shooting forward like a spear.

The attack struck Shukaku directly.
Its massive body dented inward.
If the energy required to block the Drill Air Bullets had not consumed most of the attack's power, the strike might have pierced Shukaku completely.
Even so, the gigantic beast was blasted more than a hundred meters away.
From within the explosion, Sora shot forward again, rushing straight toward Shukaku.
His goal was clear.
He wanted to use the pressure from Shukaku to force himself into a breakthrough.
If he truly wanted to defeat Shukaku quickly, all he needed to do was wake Gaara.
There was no need for such trouble.
At least for now, he had no intention of attacking Gaara.
"Soul Devouring Hand."
Sora rushed close to Shukaku and activated the technique.
This ability had a range.
The closer he was, the stronger the suction and the greater the resulting power.
Although Shukaku possessed very little blood, its chakra reserves were enormous.
The sudden extraction of such massive chakra, compressed and detonated, caused significant damage.
The more blood and chakra absorbed by Soul Devouring Hand, the stronger its resulting attack.
And tailed beasts possessed nearly infinite chakra.
At that moment, the power of Sora's attack was comparable to an S-Rank secret technique.

Shukaku was struck again.
Sand poured from the wound.
"You've successfully angered me!"
A terrifying killing intent filled the surrounding forest.
Shukaku's murderous aura reached its peak.
A massive amount of chakra began condensing inside its mouth, compressing rapidly.
Within moments, a gigantic black sphere of energy formed.
A Tailed Beast Ball.
Sora's two attacks had clearly enraged Shukaku completely.
